We were staying here for the days before/after our wedding and the night upon arrival there was an incident where an animal must have died in the air ducts causing a putrid smell throughout the whole house that lasted the duration of our four-day stay. Geoff went above and beyond to compensate for the severe inconvenience, even leaving a wedding gift. The house itself was very clean and spacious, but given there was an issue outside of the owners control we were very impressed with the level of customer service and would 100% stay in one of their properties again for that reason.

Stayed here in August of 2023 and had a great time. Quaint and newly renovated cottage right by the water. The cottage was stacked with every kitchen supply you can think of, had comfortable beds and a great BBQ. The deck is great to sit at and view the water.
As listed the water is not the best to swim due to the mass amount of weeds but it didn't bother us too much.
The only complaints have to be for the neighbours working loudly and cutting concrete which blew into the backyard but that should be over by now, hopefully.
Will definitely consider coming back this year as it is near Toronto, and just a perfect place to spend a couple days or even weeks without problem.

This cottage is well maintained. All you need to bring is your clothing, personal items and food. It is equipped with a dishwasher
and washer/dryer. We have rented this cottage twice in the last 3 months and had a lovely stay each time.

The property was very clean and well equipped. The special touches were very much appreciated; coffee filters, extra pillows, extra BBQ propane tank, etc.
An easy drive from Toronto, quiet and peaceful. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick and easy get-away!

Thoroughly enjoyed watching the herons fishing. Kayaking was like drifting over a water garden. Not a spot for swimming

Overall it was a lovely stay and the house is perfect for a few couples or friends. The view is gorgeous and you are right on the water. The main thing we did not enjoy was that the water swampy, so you couldn't swim (this was a big disappointment & we wish this was advertised!). Also the dishwasher was broken and the owner did not come fix it.

Overall this cottage was great. Nice and clean, and the owner is very responsive. The dock could probably use a ladder to get into the water, and there is some weeds, but it’s a great spot to float around. There isn’t a ton of privacy since the other cottages are so close, but we didn’t run into any issues during our stay.

My only disappointment was that water was full of grass .

Me and a few of my friends stayed here for 4 nights over Canada Day weekend and it was nothing but lovely! The inside of the cottage was better than expected, being bigger than it looks in the pictures, as well as the 3 bathrooms were very convenient. The lake itself was calm and very relaxing. There was quite a bit of seaweed, but perfect for floating and boating. As seen in the pictures, the cottage itself is fairly close to the neighbours, so privacy is a bit lacking. Overall I would recommend this spot and would definitely go again!

We had a great experience. It was a wonderful property. We were hoping to swim there but there were a lot of water weeds. Not that much of an issue as there is the beach up the road. The cooling could have also been a bit better as the airflow didnt seem as strong as one would think but again not a real issue.
