This was the best hotel I've stayed in during my trip to Japan. The staff were very polite and kind, the room was very clean and had an amazing view, the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully plated. Both the dinner and breakfast were michelin-level! The onsen was clean. Best stay ever!
Nothing, Isana Resort is perfect!

Great experience!Hotel is by the sea and the view is very good. Breakfast is amazing. It‘s 20 min walk from Futo station. Hotel helped pick up our luggage at the station. Great service!

The dinner and breakfast are AMMMAAZING. The chef is a highly trained artist and the meals were delicious and beautiful. The staff is lovely and super helpful. The room was big and had a great view of the ocean. We loved it!
On Sunday night the town shuts down and the hotel staff leave too. So we had to wander around to find a place to eat. But it wasn't a big deal. Just know on Sunday night there is nothing going on.

Boutique hotel run by young dedicated team. Excellent food. Jogasaki cast is in walking distance.

The breakfast was amazing - such a variety of good quality foods and a great opportunity to try a few new Japanese dishes. I am a big eater and couldn’t finish everything, even knowing that it is not good etiquette to leave food in Japan! The dinner menu looked great too but we didn’t have an opportunity to try that. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and luckily for us, one staff member spoke excellent English.
The decor is very dated in most of the hotel, although the restaurant where breakfast and dinner were served is very nice with lovely views. We didn’t use the private onsen in our room as it was cold and only had a little water, though I’m sure if we had asked the staff to sort it out for us, they would have done so with pleasure. We just used the main hotel onsen instead as it seemed easier and all 3 of us could go at the same time. We weren’t able to have dinner in the restaurant on the Saturday or Sunday evening, as we hadn’t pre-booked before our arrival, which was a shame. We had thought that it would be a little more flexible for hotel guests, so it’s useful to know that you’re not guaranteed a spot despite being overnight guests.

Private onsen was great. Staff also great.

Absolutely incredible! Don't skip the dinner it was the best meal of my life, amazing blend of French and Japanese style with delicious local ingredients.
Staff are very friendly, the onsen in the room and the larger one are amazing. Really one of the nicest stays possible, such a great place to relax and listen to the ocean. Beautiful flowers and decor throughout the hotel.

The FOOD. You must have dinner at the resort. Truly Amazing!!!
There are quite a lot of bugs in the area. It didn’t bother me, but can be a problem for some.

We went for half-board and the dinner and breakfast were amazing! Also, the staff was very friendly, attentive and warm. We were thrilled to have the main onsen to ourselves, much warmer than the private outdoor onsen in our room. Morning view was excellent with the mountain and the sea. It was a nice area to explore on foot.
It would be great if the check-in can be earlier and the check-out later.

One of the best places we stayed at in Japan. We loved everything about it, from the cleanness to the Onsen in the room, the food, the service, and hospitality. It was just perfect! We will definitely go back there.
Only issue is the relatively late check-in time (16:00) and early check-out time (10:00). But we asked to check out one hour later and they kindly agreed.

Great dinner, it is definitely worth it to book half-board.
Good breakfast as well.
The view from the restaurant is very nice

Every room has a private onsen on the balcony, which is the reason I booked this place. Absolutely fantastic & with sea view. The rooms are big and comfortable, nothing you would be missing here. There is delicious tea and juice available in the room. Great service. Food is awesome. I would definitely recommend for a chilled weekend, enjoying the sound of the waves and relaxing in the onsen. There are also two bigger onsen in the house you can reserve, if get tired of the small one.
There was a problem with the original room we booked, so we got downgraded. To be fair, there was only that one other room available, so not much could have been done. The owner was super nice and apologetic. She even gave is a pack of super delicious (and expensive) tea as a present to compensate. Still, I probably would not have booked the room we stayed in at the end for my side (I was looking for a Japanese style room, ours was western style). I also would have appreciated to know in advance, before we arrived. The room itself was great, and they did everything in their power to make us feel comfortable. Of course, we also payed only the rate for the room we stayed in.

Open air bath with the view and breakfast.
They didn’t had the bathrobes.
