Location very close to the beach. The room in this small guest house, as the house itself and its interior, was beautiful! Quite calm. Good Wi-Fi. Very nice staff. Lovely! Perfect! :)

Accident location because this apartment is approximately 200 m from the beach, and there are shops and restaurants all around. Staff is very kind and they offered us some coffee and juice in the morning although we haven’t got breakfast ordered.
The room is very small as well as the bathroom and I think it’s really hot in the summer. Parking is tricky because there is a big parking place nearby but since it’s one euro for one day everybody would like to park over there so it’s always full.

Great location,loved the sun terrace.
Only a minor point, but it would have been nice if there were lights on the sun terrace so that it could be used in the evening. There were solar powered lights but these did not work.

Mat in shower required plus extra reading light

The great location in the old town with the beach and promenade a few minutes walk away.
Lovely breakfast served by friendly staff.
Studio room was very dark as had no windows with limited space. Disappointed we couldn’t access the big rooftop terrace as you only have access if you book the top room.

The best accommodation in the historic center of Estepona, close to the beach, room with everything you need, large terrace with all facilities, very good breakfast, very clean, everything offers privacy and comfort. The kindness and attention of the host and the employee (lovely) made us feel at home. Warmest thanks for a wonderful stay at Pillico el pescador!
Bonus: the parking facilities a few steps away mattered a lot to us, both the exterior and underground parking of the building on Av San Lorenzo at the price of 1 euro per day and 2 euros per night.
Nothing to complain about, everything was perfect,

location and the owners were nice.
it did not offer anything that it said on booking.com. No patio, no terrace and no courtyard. the one window in the room was so narrow and you couldn’t see the sky. We had to show proof of our booking to get breakfast as they told us the coffee machine was breakfast. The room was so small and we had to move furniture into walkway to keep the cases in the room.

This guest house is tucked away in a quite side street just off the main road that leads down to the beach. It is a charming building, sympathetically renovated and well placed for easy access to the town, beach and other attractions.
Our room was the smallest but still very comfortable and complete with a really decently sized bathroom. Our hostess, Elena, prpared breakfast every morning and was happy to spend time chatting to her guests. It all made for a very pleasent stay.
Can't think of anything.

Lovely characterful house on the edge of the old town. 2 mins walk to the seafront. Very helpful host and self check in. Roof terrace. Comfortable bed. Clean. Very well equipped with a mini fridge in the room, a coffee machine, coffee pods, kettle, cutlery, oil, vinegar, salt, and even a barbecue on the roof as well as a basket of barbecue charcoal and tongs to use. Really nice touch. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Bed linen, towels, soaps. Only slight gripe is the eggy drain smell coming from the bathroom. The host Shonia can organise boat trips and this is part of the business, although the boat trips seem to be a good 15 euros more expensive than other boat trips in the town, but not for anything extra as far as we could see. Would definitely stay here again.
Strong drain smell in the bathroom.

Well located near the beach and old town Estepona. The staff who let us in were very nice.
I can’t speak for any of the rooms upstairs but the downstairs room is directly across from the kitchen. You can hear any noise and smells of cooking from the kitchen. It also was a weird configuration of the room; it felt like a cave. The bathroom window looked out to the kitchen.

No breakfast
The place was not known by the taxidriver

The location is really close to the sea front and the historic old town of Estepona. I liked the breakfast, really personal! I had pan tomate and two coffees practically every day. Staff are really friendly and knowledgeable about things to see and do.
I sometimes got woken up by a flashing light in the corridor (closed bathroom door - solved) and for some reason the air conditioning was on in the evenings and set to 30 Deg C. I turned it off.

terrace was not for all - connected to one room

I really liked the staff and their helpfulness. The location was great, very close to the centre and to the beach.
The parking close to the hotel was almost always full when we wanted to park there as it is the city centre. However there was no problem to find the place in the street nearby, 7min walk to the hotel. I traveled at the beginning of January.

the room was nice specially for the terras. the bathroom was a bit small but my partner is tall 1.96
our room was perfect because of the terras I am not sure about the rooms. When I come back, which is possible, I want to have that room only.

Great location
Very small room filled with 3 double wardrobes. (Why?)
No mirror in room. TV positioned on pillar by bed so that you banged your head on it.
Fridge on table right next to bed, which kept turning on & off all night.
Shower tray not cleaned properly.
Cakes on breakfast buffet over a month out of date.

Really sweet traditional house in the old town just one block back from the beach. Our room on the ground floor was almost a studio apartment complete with tiny patio. Great breakfast included. It was really quiet at night. Really great value for money.

We loved Estepona and found this location to be excellent — it's not on the beach but is beach adjacent. Breakfast was very good and our room was large with tons of closet/storage space for anyone on a longer trip. And parking at the nearby lot was 1 euro per 24 hours!
Outlets are in fairly short supply, and our room was in dire need of light bulbs (some were burned out), but those were minor things.

small jewel tucked away less than a block from the beach. Boardwalk lined with restaurants and shops.

No one opened! Next door was open, I entered and was received by a large, but very friendly dog, I think it was a she-dog, and we had a very friendly meeting! I entered and saw for a short moment a man dressed only in shorts but he pointed out and up the street as if he wanted me to look for an other place! So I did and after some search I finally found a hotel which was willing to let me stay, but for one night only! I was so tired that I accepted and was indeed happy to get a bath and a good nights sleep! I did manage to get a short swim in the ocean next morning before I had to leave the place at 12 o/c !
Obviously, it was not exactly what I had hoped for! But the place looked idyllic and it was late in the evening, so I took it for a joke!

The people were do friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were exceptional and everything felt exclusive, like you were experiencing life in a proper Spanish establishment. Very homely and I highly recommend.
