It is a special place so far up. You are directly at the door of the mountain world. This is just beautiful in itself. The guest house with the common rooms is very cozy and the free tea coffee and amazing cinnamon roles make it perfectly hyggelig.
Shared bathrooms. But if you know in advance it is not such a big issue and due to it is an old traditional guesthouse.

Very nice mountain hotel with fantastic restaurant and amazing view. We stayed in the renowated room with own bathroom, I recomend. A bit of Fawlty Towers atmosfer, but in the very positive way, there was no Basil :-)

Nice and cozy hotel, with old features, has a cafeteria and terrace, restaurant and excellent breakfast in a very beautiful (but remote) area.
Internet is a bit slow.

Everything was perfect or even above perfection. Very friendly and helpful staff, really tasty meals (breakfast with great variety of choice and 3-course dinner with vegetarian option). The area around is the most beautiful place I have ever been.
Double bed is actually two single beds

Our hosts were really nice, giving useful advice and guidance about the area.
The place looks really nice too, and the view and the location is outstanding.
Finally we really loved the atmosphere here, warm and cozy.

Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful location. Very good dinner available in the restaurant. Plenty of walking to do in the area. Rock climbing and boat trips appear to be available in the summer. Very peaceful and tranquil location. Not much heard of other guests despite the age of the building.
Room was very cold when I arrived just before dinner, there had been no heating on. The old radiators take a long time to heat up so I had to get up several times in the night to adjust the temperature. Wouldn't be an issue for people arriving earlier or people who will only be in the room to sleep.

Stunning location, well kept facility and really friendly staff.
There was nothing to be dissatisfied with.

Charming building, great location for hiking, free coffee, good food, lovely views from the room.
9 Euros for a small glass of ordinary table wine.

The hotel has a good location. The dinner was really good, really tasty food. There was a free coffee espresso machine (with hot chocolate as well). The parking is just in front of the hotel door. Amazing mountain view from the suit. The hotel furniture is really unique oldish style, really impressive.

Breakfast was great, style of the hotel is extraordinarily nice
Neighbor's alarm clock, which isn't hotel's fault

Location superb. Hotel excellent mixing old and new. It’s a great place.
Not my first time here, actually my 3rd or 4th and we had exactly the same food on the first and second night of our stay as one year ago…! Not a really big deal BUT at this price, I expect more variety. And please stop serving the frozen lemon sorbet, meringue and fruit… It is just not good!!!!

The dinner was the best I have ever got in the Norwegian mountains.
