About this house rental

Private corner bedroom on the ground flood of a corner Cape Cod Home. Comfortable bedroom accommodates two, with private bathroom, private deck, small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and Guest Roku streaming service. Located in a great neighborhood, on a quiet street just two blocks from scenic lake Michigan. We are within 3-5 miles from marina and train lines to Chicago and Milwaukee. Patio is available for outside relaxation. Comfortable five to ten minutes' walk to the lake Michigan where you will enjoy the beautiful and refreshing view of the open lake.

Local Metro service one block away and train station with access to Chicago and Milwaukee is on the bus route.

Guests are welcome to use the wireless/Internet on their personal computers. Groceries, drug stores, laundry marts, dining are all located within minutes from our home.

Great hosts, pleasanr, informative. We downsized from an apartment on our last visit and i worked out very well. Very nice neighborhood, nice to have a patio, everything needed was there. The bed was super fomfy!comfy. Thank you

I was very pleased with everything. I am physically handicapped. The homeowner was so kind. She carried my luggage in for me. The room was very clean. It provided everything I needed. Little extras included coffee much needed in the morning. I enjoyed the shower. It had easy access and plenty of warm water. The room was quiet, clean, and the host was gracious. What more could you ask for? Stay here when you visit Kenosha!!

First the pros: The bed was very comfortable, the place was clean, nice safe quiet neighborhood, and convenient to the lake. The cons: When we first entered, we were overcome by the smell of something cooking. This is part of a house, so I didn't think too much of it, but EVERYTIME we re-entered the room the smell was present... it NEVER GOES AWAY. The room was too small. There was a little table/desk under the TV and a chair available to sit on, but if the chair is placed at the table, you have to climb over the bed to get from one side of the room to the other; this can be difficult if you are disabled or just elderly with limited mobility. I have stayed at many VRBO properties, and ALWAYS leave the place spotless and get good reviews. We got a complaint from the owners alleging that we left the shower stained, and they added on a 100 dollar charge to replace the shower curtain! Problem is, they have a sign prominently posted requesting to NOT clean the shower. I checked the shower before we left and didn't notice any stains, my partner rinsed the shower when she was finished with it, if there were stains there, I cannot say and even if there were, we were not allowed to clean it ourselves. (we were just following the instructions the owners posted) In hindsight, I wish we had just stayed elsewhere for that portion of our trip.

This room was exactly as listed. Check in was very easy, the room was very comfortable! Appreciated all the “extras” - books to read, good coffee, soap/shampoo in the bathroom, etc. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises.

The room was exactly what we were looking for while in town for a wedding. It's in a quiet neighborhood, a few blocks from Lake Michigan, a deli/store and restaurant on the corner and just a few minutes from downtown. I would certainly book here again.

The property was clean and provided all needed supplies. The host was very friendly, helpful and available to help at all times. The room is on little smaller side but that was okay because we were using the room only to sleep at nights. It is suitable only for a couple. The bathroom was also on smaller side. Overall a good stay.

I felt the accommodations were just as I expected and met my needs for an overnight trip to Kenosha. I did get a little cold at night and would have appreciated another blanket, but otherwise found the accommodations comfortable. The WiFi info I was provided did not work for me, but I didn’t need it so it wasn’t a big deal. I was grateful for the solitude and clean place to rest for the night!

Peaceful neighborhood, close to lake michigan, close to some food, close to buses, not far from downtown. Clean, neat comfy private room with private entrance and deck. Microwave, coffee pot and small frig all clean and working. Pleasant stay.

Have stayed here several times. Always a great experience. Very clean and close to many places to see and do. The only recommendation I would suggest is an additional wastebasket in the room. After staying for 4 days, the one wastebasket was overflowing.

COZY!! While this was the first VRBO we rented that didn't have a kitchen, it was just right for our needs. The refrigerator was just the right size for our breakfast foods and extras. The bed was very comfortable which is imperative for our older backs. We used the deck with table and chairs each day for breakfast. The location is an easy walk to the waterfront and dunes. If you are a walker, it is an easy walk to the harbor and marina. What else? We do look forward to returning.

It is ideal for a individual, looking for a place to crash. We were out for the Irish fest and the beach and only needed a place to sleep and a cup of Joe...the large frig and GREAT porch with room for 4 made it ideal. Great host.

This is a very nice room and bath in an attractive neighborhood. Your own entrance and porch and grill. Walk a few blocks to a park on Lake Michigan, past homes and gardens. Very clean. Everything you need is there. Check in was very easy. Totally delightful.
