This place is very lovely, with a great backyard garden opening up to views of the water just beyond the backyard. We had a lovely stay and greatly appreciated all of the appliances, especially the washer AND dryer.
Our host was super sweet and directed us to a quick drive + walk to see the sunset from the other side of the Cliffs of Moher.
The downstairs bathroom also was fantastic, and good sized. Loved the upstairs sitting area overlooking the water. The downstairs chairs that rocked were also amazing.
Also, I absolutely loved the binoculars she left upstairs! Thanks for that!
I had trouble with the shower upstairs the first night. Spent a while trying to figure it out to no avail. Water would be ice cold for a good bit, but would then warm to a point of scalding. Could not get a constant temperature unless it was chilly. Next day decided to just use the downstairs one—others in our group had and they had no trouble—and that one worked just fine.

great location for the cliffs of Mohr. in fact you could drive a short distance and hike in from farmland. Susanne can give you those directions. If the time is right you can see seals from the upstairs window or the backyard
nothing. it was just what we wanted

Really lovely & comfortable property. Lovely extra touches like local ground coffee, milk in fridge, thoughtful toiletries in bathroom, lots of towels, fire ready to light in the stove. 3 mins walk from Vaughans (very good food), McHughs (more casual but also good food). Highly recommend Dodi’s for breakfast / brunch in Lahinch and Bar Tra for dinner (need to book here in advance). Recommend taking a drive to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre & Doolin Village. Doolin Caves were recommended too but we didnt get to go there.

This was the best rental we’d ever stayed at. The location was absolutely stunning - Susanne welcomed us and immediately pointed out a seal just off in the distance. The view of the water was stunning and the house is so charming. Incredibly cozy beds and pillows. Convenient location for exploring Cliffs of Moher and the Wild Atlantic Way. We so wished we could have spent more time there!

This was our favorite place we stayed on a two week trip through Scotland and Ireland. It is not luxurious. There is a small kitchen and dining area on the ground floor as well as a bedroom and bathroom. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, a bathroom and a lovely little sitting area. We had no trouble watching Netflix in the sitting room. One of the surprises, for me, was the location of the house. It is right on the Liscannor Bay. When you look out the windows from the front of the house you see houses on a hillside, when you look at the windows on the back side of the house, you see the little garden behind the house, and the Bay. It was a charming place for our family to stay. Susanne made meeting her and getting the key super easy and gave us books from home to help us plan our stay. If given the opportunity to return to Ireland, we would aim to return to the Bay View House in Liscannor Bay.

We thoughally enjoyed our stay at the Bay View House. We could feel the history straight away. It catered for all our needs and more. The house was spotless and cozy. Susanne was a lovely host very informative and helpful. Every morning we were greeted by the two resident seals and they but us in good humor for the day . There is so much beautiful scenery and the atmosphere really helps to provide that holiday vibe. The food in PotDuggans was devine and right beside the river Inagh. We also booked electric bikes from Doolin bike hire and they could not have been nicer to us ... thank u Niall
then we had a private seaweed bath by the coast with The wild atlantic seaweed baths .......magic
We fell into our very cosy beds every night exhausted and slept like logs. Can't wait to go back. Thanks Susanne
