Surprise! Friendliest host in fully renovated oasis, inside court with secure parking and pool. Walking distance to town center, plenty to see there too. Intriguing building, very charming architecture.
No criticism, the road leading to the place is a one way street, so navigating there can be tricky.

The staff/owner was very friendly and helpful when I arrived, she immediately helped me checking in and offered to help with my luggage. There is no elevator, so this was very helpful. The room was very spacious and the bed had more pillows than I had ever seen. The parking was nice and safe and the room felt clean and well kept. The breakfast was simple, but nice.
The parking feels a little bit expensive, but otherwise no complaints.

We enjoyed our brief stay in Bourges. The hotel was very well situated and yet very quiet. Breakfast was lovely and the room was well equiped.
WE struggled getting into the carpark area but there is very little that could be done about that when streets are narrow.

Host friendly, breakfast very nice and there's parking place and charging pile for electric car. The apartment is spacious and comfortable.
Only two watch outs:
1) Timing: it says check-in from 5pm, i thought the room is ready after 5pm, but I didn't know we can't even enter the parking and the place before 5pm... so we were stuck on the small road and waiting outside.
2) Parking: to enter the house, there's a very narrow road (two-way lane on top) and there are cars parking on the road illegally! Strongly recommend the owner to find a way to interdict cars parking on the road! We will not come back again if it's always like this.

Room was spotless. Lovely shower. Breakfast was good if unspectacular. The hostess was very friendly and spoke good English.
An incredibly steep and long staircase to the rooms. Another steep staircase down to the breakfast room. My wife has bad knees so with pre warning we may not have booked this particular hotel. There is private parking but did I miss that you have to pay for it? You can't get access before 5pm.

This is a lovely property, although it has much in keeping with some traditional B&B's in the UK - you can't get in before 5pm and you must be out by 10am! However, that aside, the room was wonderful and, being at the back of the hotel, very quiet. There is on-site secure car parking (€10) but, if you're lucky, you can park outside for free. Great location near the centre of Bourges. Lovely breakfast (€8.90 per person) with scrambled eggs offered as a bonus!
Some cold meats or cheese for breakfast would have been appreciated - but we didn't ask for it, so they may have been available!

The guest house was beautiful, the facilities were excellent and the staff were super helpful and accommodating.
The location was a bit of a walk away from the centre but not too bad and we were charged for parking in their onsite car park which felt a little unfair but I guess that have had to pay for it to be built and kept nice. Room was a little small but would definitely stay again.

We liked everything, but mostly the hospitality of the hosts. They were both looking out to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We didn't know there was an option to book a table d'hote, which was a real shame as we were treated to some small and amazing nibbles by the hosts, which he prepared right there. Next time we will be sure to book that table d'hote, because we are surely going back.
Can't think of anything that wasn't perfect.

Great value for money in central Bourges. Tastefully decorated with the added bonus of a lovely swimming pool. So welcoming in the heat as was the host!

not welcoming at all when we arrived so we left and went somewhere else, would never recommend

comfortable room and an easy walk into town.
it was shown as having private parking but when we arrived we were told it was public parking on the roadside. it seemed strange as there was a big empty car park at the rear of the property. we queried it but were told no, it is free roadside parking. if I had know that I would not have booked this property.

Wonderful location on walking distance from the centre. The room was spacious and perfect for us (a family of four). Parking was free in the street. They are adding a swimming pool to the garden, so even better a next time:) The host could consider adding a small fridge to the room. It wasn't really a problem, but would add some further luxury/facilities to the room.

We didn't have breakfast. Only drawback of hotel was the parking which was a tricky dash over a busy road (with lots bags) and as we were tired it wasn't ideal BUT we would still go back there as we now know about the parking.
See above.

cozy and clean room, very clean toilet
you have to park a little bit far if you arrive late after 5:00pm, because there is not enough parking space in front of door

Clean, cosy and recently renovated room with coffee-making facilities and little desk to work. Good WIFI. Walking distance to the old town. No private parking, but I was lucky to find a place along the road in front of the door. I was also lucky to have a quiet room with garden view, away from the busy main-street.
No breakfast available that day, which was not clear at the moment of booking. But I found good alternative in the city.

The room was spacious and comfortable. It felt safe as a lone traveller.
As a vegetarian I felt the breakfast was lacking.

Pleasant staff, good breakfast, quiet airconditioning, extremely clean. The breakfast and adjacent garden area all very pleasant.
The arrival was a little strange. Access to the parking was not immediately obvious. Access from the parking to reception was initially only via the street, up a slope and round a corner. A tight staircase to the room was also accessed only from the street not reception. The room itself was simple and plain. First impressions: all a bit odd. But later reactions were all good.

This is a private house recently converted into a guesthouse. Secure private parking in their own grounds we had room for which overlooked the back of the hotel and was therefore quiet rather than overlooking the main road which might have been somewhat noisy. Good facilities with tea making et cetera and an excellent continental breakfast with home-made bread, croissants ,cakes and preserves.
There are no staff just the owner who does everything from cleaning making the beds cooking and serving - a Wonder Woman, and so pleasant with it !!
A little close to a main road
