About this house rental
« If you're weary browsing … this is the one! The apartment is hard to fault, whatever your needs. My wife and I spent a week here with our three young children (8, 5, 3) at the end of August and could not have wished for a more perfect venue. It has three bedrooms plus bathroom on the first floor; downstairs, on the raised ground floor, there's a well-equipped kitchen (including large freezer and capsule coffee machine) and a spacious reception room with lounge and dining areas. Lovely balcony too, with retractable sun canopy, perfect for meals al fresco. All the amenities work well, including DVD player (with some films provided) and - crucially - air conditioning on both floors. We were always comfortable despite temperatures of over 40 degrees outside. Although we didn't rent the basement studio as a sleeping area, we were given a key so that we could use the shower (avoids bringing sand into the main apartment), the washing machine and all the beach equipment - chairs, body boards, buckets and spades, umbrellas, etc.
Roberto and María Luisa are the owners but behave like hosts. The arrangements for booking, payment, welcome, return of deposit, etc all ran like clockwork. Roberto even drove me to a supermarket half way through our stay, waited while I shopped, and then drove me and the shopping home! (We hadn't hired a car because the apartment is so near the beach - only 3 minutes walk even with young children.)
The beaches are wonderful - sandy, clean and uncrowded. lined with dunes rather than ugly apartment blocks. Safe for the kids too, because the water remains shallow a long way out. The beach bars are not expensive, and some will order food for you from local takeaways which you can then eat at a table on the sand.
The vast majority of tourists here are NOT English. Most are Spanish, some French. You won't find a full English breakfast but the paella is great if you know where to go. Ask Roberto for tips! »

Roberto and Marisa welcomed us on arrival and were so helpful and friendly. Their apartment is spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Located just a short walk to the most amazing beach with gorgeous sand and warm sea. We also spent time relaxing on the pretty terrace overlooking the very quiet neighbourhood.
Oliva itself is fairly quiet with a couple of bakeries and restaurants. This location is perfect if you’re looking for peace without the usual tourist shops and bars. We hired a car from the airport so travelled around too. There is a weekly market in Oliva pueblo which is nearby with lots of shops, bars and restaurants.
We would highly recommend this accommodation and will definitely be back.

We stayed in the house for 7 days with 4 children between 4 and 15. The whole family really enjoyed the stay. The beach is only a few steps from the house. The shared pool is also very nice, we used it for example, when wind and waves only allowed to go into the sea knee deep.
The host are very helpful and friendly. Would stay there again, when visiting Oliva another time.

Lovely home from home
A great stay at Casa Princesas a really comfortable home in Spain in a lovely town with an amazing beach. Had an issue which was dealt with promptly and professionally by Roberto and Merisa who are a very nice couple and great hosts. Could not recommend this property highly enough, will rent again if ever in Oliva.

Lovely appartement with great hosts!
We have had a great stay at Roberto’s appartment!! The balcony is lovely to have breakfast at and the beach is very near. If you prefer comfortable beds at the beach, you can rent those near the surf school (close to the harbour). Also during pre-season. We rented the property with our son of 4 and my parents. There is enough space and we could use all the things (incl. cycles) that was installed in the extra studio. We can highly recommend this apartment!
For groceries a car is required. We rented a car for a very good price at Drivalia (near Airport Alicante, including a pick-up). And if you don’t mind a nice drive of app. 40 minutes, the boulevard and beaches of Calpe is worth the visit for a very nice day at the beach with nice restaurants and boutique’s!!

A very comfortable and well positioned holiday home, a very quiet area with few tourists.
The house was well equipped and the owner Roberto most helpful. We did not have a car but used the local taxis. Spent many days relaxing and walking on the wonderful beach. The resort was very quiet at night which suited us but if you want more life you need to go later in June. We plan to return next year and crash out again.

Excellent accommodation for families
Very clean, well equipped 3 level accommodation, very close to beach and a few restaurants and bars. Although mostly closed at this time of year (late March). Would certainly recommend for a quiet, relaxing family holiday.

Perfect in every way...
We were greeted by the owners Roberto & Marissa who were extremely pleasant & helpfull. Having had my parents living in Oliva for 14 years & holidaying there for 20 years we know the area very well. The villa did not disappoint, fully equipped as stated. I was extremely happy with the choice of beach chairs & umbrellas, even buckets & spades if you have children. The beautiful white sandy beach is less than a minutes walk away. Supermarket, bars & restaurants 2 minutes walk. We had a fabulous fortnight & will be back.

Great villa, great location and kind and gracious
Great villa, great location and kind and gracious hosts.
We visited in February 2017. The weather was a little mixed, but the compensating factor was real peace.
The location is great. You are just two hundred metres from the Beach. Our boys (11, 9 and 6) were on the beach every day, making sandcastles, playing football and jumping in the sea (albeit with wetsuits!).
There is also a bakery a short walk from the Villa that sells lovely bread.
The villa is really well equipped and a decent size with 3 bedrooms and balconies. There is also a basement with another shower, washing machine and handy mountain bikes. Wifi was stable and fast.
We discovered Gandia beach whilst we were there- wow! Who knew that Miami Beach was so close? It is only 25 mins away.
Roberto and Marisa were kind and gracious hosts- leaving some provisions in the fridge when we arrived and being really flexible on our arrival (our flight was delayed- thanks Easyjet!). They also returned the Deposit really quickly after our return.
All in all you won't go wrong with this Villa- a great find.

Amazing villa in great location. Everything you could want is there.
Firstly when we arrived in Spain we thought we would need to do a big food shop of all the essentials. On arriving at the villa, everything we needed to get us started was there. Milk, washing powder, shower gel etc. There was even an ice cold coke and beer in the fridge waiting for us.
Parking was not easy but we managed most days to get quite close.
The villa! WOW. What a great layout. Beautiful terrace to enjoy meals. Comfy beds. All the mod-cons. I can't fault it. Our boys loved playing in the pool and we felt it was totally safe for them to do so. We couldn't see them but could hear them.
There is everything you need for the beach, board games, books, DVDs and so much to keep you entertained without the need for TV. I found it hard to find the English channels but to be honest we weren't fussed about watching any TV. There are mountain bikes which we enjoyed using along the beach track most days and me and my youngest son quite often went to the local consum to get groceries on them too.
There is a bakers 2 minutes walk as well as a small supermarket and countless bars and cafes. The churros van was always nice for a sugary breakfast treat.
This villa really did impress us and all the stops were pulled out. Roberto was very helpful and swift when it came to payment and returning my deposit.
I can't recommend this place enough.
Thank you Roberto and Marissa for everything. We hope to come back next year.

Great location, sea view, 100m to stunning beach
Great location, sea view from terrace, 100 m to miles of sandy, clean beaches. Good facilities, very comfortable beds, modern and clean. Local restaurants and café/bars within a few minutes walk, 5 minutes by car to centre of Oliva - explore the orange groves (good cycling!), the Old town, the Friday market and the "Tapas Trail"! Close to Gandia (explore the Borgia's Palace and lunch in the square down the road by a magnificent church) and hop on the train from there, or drive, to Valencia City. Highly recommended.

The property is big and good located. Also very wel equiped and clean.
The house is very good located. Very close to a beautiful and quiet beach. The neighbourhood itself is also very quiet. You do need a car for your shopping, because there is no supermarket nearby. We were here in low season. Not all restaurants were open yet.
The house has 3 bedrooms and a lot of storage space. There is a well equiped kitchen. And there is also een appartement under the house which you can use. There is a another kitchen, toilet and shower. You'll find here a washing machine and a lot of stuff that can be used at the beach. There are also bikes you can use.
Furthermore the contact with Roberto and Marisa was very good.
Last but not least, the house was very clean.
We enjoyed our stay!

The Beach House
We were delighted with this clean and very well maintained property, shared the house with our son, wife and two grand children 12 & 10. When speaking to Roberto he made it quite clear that we were to make ourselves at home and we appreciated the use of the equipment for the beach and our grandson used one of the bicycles. The house was exactly as described, very pretty bourgenvillias, handy for the beach and easy access to the restaurants nearby. I am sure if we had any problems they would have been rectified. We would certainly recommend the property to friends and relatives and would stay here again ourselves. We stayed for 10 days over the Easter holiday. The family also went to an adventure park in Parcent.
Another son lives in Oliva and we were taken to various restaurants, we didn't have time to visit the Soqueta but have heard good reports, (on our list for our next visit.) However we can recommend Rumar, Oliva Playa, it is best to order a day in advance if you require a Spanish paella, as we did, starters and desserts can be decided on the day. Also in the town of Oliva itself Ca Fran where we enjoyed various tapas, recommended by the maître D, duck paella and several choices of dessert.
There is also another favourite restaurant if you are prepared to drive approximately 25 mins - l'Amassera, in Castellonet de
la Conquesta and if you enjoy Indian /Nepalese food as we do, the Katmandu in Denia.

The property was very clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and lots of outside space. Perfect
We were very happy staying at this property. It was perfect for my family. My young son loved it, we all did. It's a pretty property, clean, spacious and well equipped. Also, it's seconds walk away from the beach and a few minutes walk from a couple restaurants etc. Roberto is exceptionally helpful and friendly. And together all of these factors contributed to us having a fantastic time. We will definitely be staying there again!!! I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Great holiday house
The owners were very helpful right from the start. the house is very close to the beach and you can sleep listening to the waves. House was clean and well equipped. We went out of season and it was beautiful and quiet. Beaches very clean. Not much was open in the town but that didn't bother us. Lovely spot. Thank you for taking care of us.

Lovely property in Oliva
The property was lovely and as described on the website. The location was perfect for a beach holiday in an unspoiled area of Spain - no high rise buildings and a few pleasant cafes, bars and restaurants in easy walking distance of the house. Customer service was second to none - Roberto could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had problems with our hire car when leaving for the airport and he did everything possible to help us sort it out and reassure us that we'd be OK. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing beach type holiday.

Nice, clean, complete house near the beach. Try it
It was very hot in Oliva when we arrived with our two children (6 and 8). Marisa was there to welcome us and explain all about the house, very nice and welcomming. The house is very nice with the flowers on the outside and to keep the house cool on the inside there are enough aircon's, shutters and a blower. We needed them from time to time especially at night because the temperature stayed high at night. We mostely had our breakfast on the terrace on the balcony nicely in the shade. There is most of the time a sea breeze.
The beds are good and there are enough towels and when you need to wash there is a washing machine.
Our children had a wonderfull time in the pool and at the beach. We could borrow all the stuff needed for the beach, like parasols, chairs, buckets, snorkling gear and a box to keep things cool! Because the beach is so near and not crowded is really just a 2 min walk in your bikini and towel. The beach is clean and the water is shallow so our kids could swim and snorkel safe. Just watch out for the jelly fish, medusa's.
The house is very well equiped with everything you need. It's very nice to arrive and find that tea, some coffee, salt and pepper and herbs, oil, water and even beer is there for our use. The supermarket is close for the first supplies, the next day we went to Oliva town (nice place!) to the Consum, LIDL to get all the other stuff. The neighborhood is quiet but also if you speak a little spanish or french the people who live there are nice and friendly.
We took the bikes for a ride and in the two weeks we were there we saw a lot in the surrounding area. Within a hours drive by car we visited two caves (Benidoleigh and del Rull), the springs in d 'Algar, Xativa (nice views), Denia and Oliva town. All very nice. Because of the heat (heatwave) we went every day for an icecream a few minutes from the house. And on the beach we took a nice cold granizadas. For eating we can recommend, La Sota, just around the corner. And El Cresol (pizzeria) at the other side of Oliva beach.
So spend a nice holiday in spain and rent this house!

A lovely, quiet winter retreat
A clean, well-maintained apartment with everything you need for a comfortable stay. We were met on arrival by Roberto who showed us around the apartment and demonstrated the appliances as necessary. There is everything you could possibly need, from a new Smart TV to coffee maker. The downstairs studio apartment contained bikes which we were invited to use, which was perfect for us and we ventured out on them most days.
We stayed for almost four weeks in January, and although a little chilly there was sunshine and blue skies every day – beautiful morning sun on the balcony at breakfast time. Great for banishing the winter blues. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area, although be aware that many of the beach-area restaurants are closed at this time of year. However, there are plenty to choose from the in the main town which is just 2.5 miles. If you want to learn about the old town, the Tourist Information office offers free walking tours – very interesting.
Roberto was a pleasure to deal with. Great communication and the deposit was refunded as soon as we returned.
If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing winter retreat with strolls along the beach and walks in the mountains, this is the place you’ve been searching for.

Beste Sommerferien aller Zeiten
SEEEEEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT!

ruhig gelegenes Ferienhaus nahe beim Strand

Also perfekte Badeferien. Aber auch Valencia (1h) oder Gandia ist mit dem Zug oder dem Auto gut erreichbar für shopping und Stadtleben.
Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen und hoffe, dass ich nächsten Sommer wieder kommen kann.
