* *Full refund offered for cancellations due to covid travel restriction** Character bach in great location....We are only 2 minutes walk from the centre of the beautiful Raglan township (think quirky shops, great cafes) and 1 min walk to harbour and safe swimming. The beach, playground and skate park are only a short walk across the foot bridge. Ngarunui surf and swim beach a 5 minute drive away. You cant beat this central location. Two bedrooms (both queen beds). Fully furnished with fun retro style. Has all the modern appliances, cutlery and utensils for your stay away from home. Wrap around deck, all day sun and cool outside shower to rinse off the sand. Stereo, CD player and TV which only plays DVDs (no wifi either sorry, you're on holiday after all). Games galore. Bean bags, deck chairs and sun umbrella. Rates above are based on a couple (sharing a room), additional costs for any extra $15pp. Infants using their own bedding free. Please let us know if there will be 2 people staying in separate beds so we can account for linen. Great getaway for the family, we have many satisfied customers! Special conditions: Pets maybe allowed with prior approval. Extras: Cleaning (Required, NZ$40.00 per stay); Bed linen (included);

My sister and I stayed for a family 70th birthday. The house was really suited to our needs and we enjoyed every minute of it.

First of all apologies Clint for our early arrival, previous accommodations had been check in at 2pm and we didn’t check your times properly. Great location for this lovely, older Bach- only one downside for me was the higher step onto the terrace with a Grammy leg! Beds comfortable and all items supplied great. Thank you both.

Was really great !! My 1 concern was that getting up and down off the deck was a little difficult for 2 older ladies but everything else was top notch

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. It’s a Kitch old kiwi Bach style.

Had a fabulous time at this gorgeous property. A week with no tv, no wifi was bliss & the property is so well set out that the teen & tween were easily entertained, even managing to complete a 1000 piece puzzle. The reading nook is perfectly positioned to read, relax & watch those in the garden. Would definitely come back to this house if in Raglan again. Teegan & Clint were super helpful with all my questions and gave great recommendations.
Also shout out to Raglan kayaks who helped us with a kayak for the teen to accompany us three on our two paddle boards for a couple of occasions so we could all get out across to the beautiful pancake rocks. Their guidance on tides etc was invaluable.

We had a wonderful girls weekend away in Raglan.
We loved the location within easy walking distance to the town centre.
We also really appreciated the decor and the little extra touches like the fresh flowers on the table.

Needs a little bit of TLC curtains are difficult to pull up and down in lounge as bracketing/sticks comes out. Would really benefit from a step down off front deck as it was wet when we were there and had to be careful getting up and down. Otherwise great affordable stay, ideal spot, close to town.

We had a lovely stay. Kids loved having the playground and waterfront so close. Easy walk into town and the bach was well equipped.

Sometimes you stay in places that feel like they've been *deliberately* decorated to be "shabby chic" or "boho" or some other fashionably quirky style. But this spot didn't feel like that. No cheap wannabe kitschy decor from Ikea, but real actual cute, vintage and personal thing that made it both delightful and cosy. Exactly what we needed for our 2 nights in Raglan - hopefully on our next tour, the sun is shining!

Absolutely loved staying here. Best location, two minute walk to play in the water one way, two minutes to Raglan Roast coffee the other way.
Our two year old absolutely loved the two big baskets of toys awaiting him and the awesome selection of DVDs (we watched Frozen every day, just like being at home 😂) the owners even messaged to let us know there was a clam shell under the deck if he wanted a wee splash.
The decor is so cute - a perfect 1950s bach. We loved everything about our stay here and would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

The bottle of air spray by the bathroom sink is highly toxic. I found this out as I did my face routine at night laying out my bottles and pots. As I didn't have my glasses on I mistook it for my spray bottle. Used it on my faces. Thankfully it reacted quickly and I got it off. But it burnt my face which meant travelling to Hamilton to seek assistance. You want to use something else incase another numb nuts like me thinks it's something they had brought. Read your book on mindfulness LOL I'll check in the future with my glasses on to see what I am putting on my face. Bottles were same shape and size. With a white backing. If you read on the back of your bottle it warns on this spray on most surfaces and skin, doesn't list products in it. Doctor said it was a corrosive. Other than that another lovely time at your whare. We broke a bread plate sorry but popped to the op shop and got one to replace it. We will book again soon, love that your place feels like home.

This property is great value for money and very handy to Raglan town centre. Very helpful and easygoing property owners. No wifi which probably should be mentioned in the advertisement but ultimately not a negative as it is really good for the teenagers to have break from their devices for few days
