it wasnt clear to me that the room didn't have a view. It was still an awesome room, I was just hoping to look out at trees from my room.

We had a lovely stay at the Idyllwild Grand Lodge to celebrate our marriage!

The breakfast was great. Super fresh berries and lots of baked goods available

We didn't know we'd have a room above ours. We could loudly and clearly hear the guests above us walking around above us.

Our favorite place for a quick getaway and change of scenery!

Our room was gorgeous with a huge view of the trees. Our room was extremely clean and smelled incredibly good. The staff was polite and eager to talk with us. One of the nicest places we have ever stayed in!

beautifully designed Hotel to cozy up by the fireplace

The hotel is located up one of the two main streets in Idyllwild and easily walkable to all places in town. Big terrace, library and cozy common areas with mountain view, minigolf, sauna and parking incl 1 x EV charging complimentary. Breakfast was thoughtful and good quality options of fruits, jogurth, several jelly’s and different bagels to choose from. Michelle who welcomed us was incredibly friendly and kind and stayed after hours to show us around. Rooms are beautiful, spacious, beds are comfortable, bath and showers are well equipped. Can highly recommend to stay there!

Superb

Lovely, well appointed room. Great common areas, good wifi, close to town. Excellent continental breakfast........fresh fruit, assorted pastries, yogurt, bagels, boiled eggs and oatmeal. Staff was great! We had a wonderful stay!

Staff was great and very polite! The cleanliness of the room was very good. I was really impressed. Large restroom, dual sinks, waterfall shower, fridge, a/c, electric fireplace, and nice size tv. Breakfast there was a pleasant time

2 concerns with the room. Secret door in the closet was puzzling. Wouldn't have bothered me if I knew about it going in. The entrance to the room had no privacy because the entry door to the room was a sliding door with lock of course. I'm not used to that kind of entry to a room. Not being negative, just informing the next person.

Only thing id suggest is a blackbout cutain for the window in suite memories. You have the for the door which was great, but window needed one also.

A cozy, warm, welcoming place for a relaxing get away.

The staff accommodated our plant based diet. We are flexible and did not expect a special breakfast. It was in conversation that we mentioned that we are about 95% plant based. Raven asked if we ate Just Eggs and vegan sausage. We said that we did and just like that our breakfast was plant based. Very appreciated and not expected. We liked the ambiance of the lodge.
