Location good property not up to standard. Find it disgusting that after 2 weeks still waiting for return of deposit aft

Location was good. Property was clean

Brand new tv did not work.No internet connection at all. Spoke to owner who said the internet and tv did work. Shower worked but not powerful and wall bracket broken.

Perfect central location. Excellent dialogue between host and me making sure the accommodation suited my needs.

I was a bit apprehensive at first but host re assured as to why its required and compromised on a number of issues based on trust. Ongoing dialogue all the time with locality clearly identified and contact point for queries.

It was ok for 1 night stay

It was clean and ok for the one night we stayed

THe lift we were told by a resident that hasnt worked for a very long time, and I had to climb 3 floors and having a very bad knee problem was a grerat difficulty Advertised as a two bedroom when in actual fact there was a chest of drawers and a double bed in the kitchen dining area. Making 3 double beds A missinglever from the tap. No smaller towels to dry hair on. No radio or TV. The double bed in the en suite was dipping in the middle so you rolled together. Laminate flooring needs replacing it was starting to lift in the dining table area. The curtins need more hooks on and they were very difficult to close. Smoke alarm in the bedroom left in a drawer. ITS A GREAT SHAME COS ITS A VERY LOVELY QUIET AREA AND CONVINIENT TO MOST THINGS.

Best place in Cardiff city!

We had an amazing time coming to Cardiff to watch Pete Doherty at the tramshed. Finding this gorgeous apartment SO close to the city centre (just off a side street!) It's honestly a shame we weren't there too much!

Good

Location was great, property had space for up to six people although there were only three of us. 2 bathrooms. Well equipped.

Not much really. Shower head in ensuite was very high and not adjustable. Couldn't get oven to work, no instructions, but we were only there for one night so didn't bother contacting host.

The apartment itself was nice but the anxiety caused by other issues connected ruined it.

The Millenium Apartment itself was nicely laid out and presented. It was comfortable and with the exception of a TV set most things for a short stay have been thought of and provided. It was a shame that the shower in the ensuite bathroom was attached to/came out of the wall and you couldn't take the head out to direct the water where you wanted it. But the other shower was able to do this so it wasn't too bad. It is in a good location for shops, restaurants, pubs and very near to the Spar where the keys are held and have to be returned to. They returned the damage holding deposit promptly and upon just one request for it which I was impressed with after reading some of the previous reviews on Booking.com.

I was very concerned that less than 24 hours before picking the keys up and past the cancellation notice period I received an email part of which stated: "Please note we have installed a noise monitor in the apartment. It does not record speech, only decibel levels. Any guests who are drunk or causing any problems in or around the building will be required to leave on the spot without refund and deposit will be forfeited." Firstly this should have been on the booking.com site so I was aware of this prior to booking not suddenly be notified when it was too late to cancel if I didn't agree to this paragraph. Secondly, I have been told by a legal expert that in doing this the Millenium Apartment could be seen to be in breach of contract. Thirdly, There is no definition of what constitues being drunk.. Would they deem someone who has just had a couple of beers as drunk or would they deem someone who can bearly stand as being drunk. This therefore, wrongly gives them the right to throw people out for the smallest amount of alcohol being consumed. The friend I went with and myself both deem the recording of decibel levels as an infringement upon our rights. But at such short notice we had no option but to very reluctantly go along with it. Could this be why they leave it until the last minute and well after the cancellation period to notify people? As someone who has hearing problems I am always being told I speak too loudly. This meant the entire time I was there I was on edge as I knew the volume was being recorded. Having spoken to Booking.com they argue that the fact they state no Parties covers the Decibel recording which it doesn't legally. Neither the apartment nor booking .com seem bothered that my friend and I did not enjoy our week and they refuse to even issue an apology. Instead hiding behind poorly worded small print that doesn't even cover the issues I raised.

The best location great value friendly staff

fantastic location great size apartment very comfortable kitchen was clean with all facilities you would want in a short break. Staff friendly and helpful

Lots of snagging curtain pole hanging on, shower door came off the runners coffee table falling apart but really a good base for couple of days amd great value in the best location

A fantastic break away with friends and family

It was very spacious with a great view of the stadium and all the amenities you need. it’s in the town centre so close to the shopping, bars and restaurants.

It said there was parking and it’s not until you click on more details that it says it’s public parking (so find a car park) although they were very helpful with info on where to find them.

Secure, fantastic location and quiet. Perfectly comfortable for 1 night.

Think the cleaner was in a hurry- there was a cloth inside the dishwasher and another on the sink that smelled truly revolting- made the kitchen area unpleasant. Probably more importantly for us, the Spar shop where you drop the keys doesn't open until 0900 on Saturdays- we wanted to get away earlier but had to kill time until it opened- was a bit frustrating.

fabulous apartment, clean, comfortable and excellent location. Would definitely recommend and I will book again the next time I stay in Cardiff.

Couldn’t work out how to turn on the heating but as we were going to bed shortly after getting in at night and didn’t need it on in the morning we didn’t contact the owner so cannot really class it as a negative as we didn’t give the owner chance to rectify it. Only mentioning it incase others have the same problem.

Comfortable and big

We've stayed in this apartment last year and a few things were slightly damaged and we definitely noticed that those those things had been replaced or upgraded.

We did have to wait a while to receive our security deposit but all is sorted and fine

A pleasant stay in a very convenient location in the heart of Cardiff.

Apartment was comfortable in a central location and great view of the city and Principality stadium and Arms park.

Picking up the keys from Spar wasn't a problem but a rather disengaged system. Another set of keys would have been useful we had to be in constant contact when apart and another set of keys would have meant more freedom of movement for each of us as we where in different destinations at different parts of each day. While we had no complaints with the facilities, the beds were not very comfortable and very basic which did leave the apartment down.

Highly recommended for a family break to Cardiff.

Very stylish apartment in excellent condition. Fully equipped with all amenities. Spotlessly clean, quiet and comfortable. Great views from the seventh floor. Efficient lift, so no need to climb stairs. Great location in the heart of the city, close to shops, bars, restaurants and city attractions. NCP car park only a short walk up the street. Clear instructions from the owner.

Only one minor detail - The internal lock on the apartment door was a bit iffy, so we used a stop wedge for peace of mind.

Fab location - would stay again!

Excellent location in city centre. Great facilities..previous guests said not enough crockery and no curtains..this has been rectified.

Wifi didn't work and owner didn't get back to us to try and rectify it. Ensuite shower door is hanging off its runners, so need to be extra careful as it's glass and could fall off.

Highly recommend! Amazing

Even with the noise, this apartment was perfect for if you are staying in Cardiff for an event and to be in city centre. The location is amazing! Just off St Marys street, minutes walk to bars, restaurants, shops, the castle, stadium. Communication from the host was excellent and made finding it and access go without a hitch. There is an NCP car park right next to it. A bed in each room which we loved and they were comfy. Girls there are loads of mirrors in the apartment including a full length one. Everything you need in the kitchen. The view from the apartment was fab and really felt like we were in the heart of cardiff. Clean and comfy everywhere. Amazing value for money...we will be back and couldnt recommend enough!

Noisy quite early in morning with the streets being cleaned. No radio channels on the tv.
