Beautiful bespoke little boutique hotel in Gran Canaria

Pretty much everything. The service was friendly and great, the rooms were immaculate and beautifully designed. I loved the rooftop pool.

Parking can be a little difficult to find. You will eventually find it on the street, but it may take some time.

Mooi gerenoveerd hotel.

Heel mooi gerenoveerd hotel, mooie balans tussen authentiek en modern, heel proper, leuk dakterras (klein maar heel gezellig). Er is maar iemand aanwezig tussen 8-16u maar alles voor late incheck werd prima gecommuniceerd via Whatsapp. Plannetje, codes, en lijst met leuke barretjes en restaurants in de buurt. Dag van uitchecken heel vriendelijke dame aan het onthaal. Dicht bij de luchthaven dus ideaal voor een laatste overnachting, klein gezellig dorpje ..

Er werd luchtverfrisser in de hal gespoten en dat was veel te overheersend. Geen parking maar wel voldoende in de straat om de hoek.

Estancia perfecta

El hotel es una maravilla, limpio, muy cuidado y precioso decorado. Además esta en el centro histórico, muy buen ubicado y se aparca fácilmente en las inmediaciones. El personal súper agradable y atento, la chica de recepción nos dio muy buenas recomendaciones.

Solo como una sugerencia, el olor del ambientador me pareció que era muy fuerte en la habitación, pero eso es cuestión de gustos y abriendo la ventana se ventilaba en un momento.

Schönes Hotel in Teldes Altstadtviertel

Sehr gut war die zentrale und ruhige Lage in einem gelungen restaurierten Herrenhaus mit einer schönen Ausstrahlung. Auf der Dachterasse mit kleinem Pool, Liegen und Sonnenschirmen zu entspannen war wunderbar. Das Frühstück war vielseitig und geschmackvoll zubereitet. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Das einzige, was uns fehlte, war ein Schrank im Zimmer.

Accueil très sympathique et emplacement idéal au coeur de la vieille ville. Très belle chambre d'une grande propreté. Petit déjeuner parfait. Parking facile en bas du joli grand parc pas trop loin de l'hébergement.

Perfect stay in Telde

We were very lucky to have gotten a reservation at the Hotel sXVI! Because we were traveling around and did not book any rooms beforehand, we got lucky and got one night at this place. We absolutely loved the location, house, room - everything! Because we arrived late we did the self check-in, but it was supereasy. We got a room on the second floor, loved the view towards the street and the church, good place for peoplewathing. The breakfast was convenient and lovely, we got everything we needed. Maybe some (boiled) eggs would have been appreciated by my husband, but I could not miss a thing. The lovely girl helping us at night via phone for checking in and also working on breakfast time, was superfriendly and welcoming. Thank You! The location is the best in Telde - in the core of the centre and great for a small walk before landing in one of the tabernas.

Lovely hotel would return if I were in the area

Great location Very easy to get a bus from airport and then short walk to hotel. We arrived when reception was closed and super instructions on how to get in.

No issues. A little noisy outside but it was a Saturday night and we live in a very very quiet location so are more aware of noise I guess.

Beautiful stay

The inside of the hotel is beautiful, very modern while maintaining the essence of a rustic house. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The instructions to get in after reception hours were very clear.

Fabulous - couldn't fault it.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. The decor and style of the room and common areas were stunning. Breakfast was excellent. Everything was clean, well maintained and comfortable.

There was nothing I could fault about the hotel, we absolutely loved it. Dinner options in the town were somewhat limited, particularly as a vegetarian but that wouldn't put me off recommending a stay in this fabulous hotel as a great base to explore the north of the island.

Very nice hotel in the old part of Telde. Nice and quiet part of town. We cycled to the hotel and had to keep bikes in our room as there was no storage place, but that was fine. The only negative was our room was on street level so we couldn't have the windows fully open. There is a nice wine bar across the street!

Very pleasant stay in Telde

Very nice small hotel in an old building in one of the old neighbourhoods of Telde. Tastefully decorated common spaces respecting the building's age. Large spacious room, also with a good balance between age and modernity. A nice sun roof with a mini pool for hot days. Impecable cleaning. Definitely a good quality/price equation. This hotel is also perfect home base if you want to explore the island by car, due its location near the highway.

Great experience; quite, clean and center location

The hotel is located in the old town of Telde and it is a mix between old and new; the staff is so nice and polite; also it is near to nice coffee shops and you can easily grab the bus to “las palmas” (the city - only 15min away).

It was a bit difficult to find a taxi; you need to download the local app or ask the staff to call you a taxi.

Fabulous little hotel in Telde

Beautiful, historic property in Telde. Rooms had lots of character and were über comfortable and clean. Roof-top terrace + pool were wonderful. Helpful and personable staff topped off a fabulous stay.

Relaxing stay at a beautiful hotel

We loved our stay at Hotel sXVI. The hotel and room are beautifully decorated, with modern styling blending with the original features of this traditional building. The communication from the hotel was great from the moment we booked and the staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. Telde itself is a lovely quaint town steeped in history and there are plenty of cafe’s, bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. If you are looking for a place to stay in Gran Canaria away from the ‘tourist’ areas, I would highly recommend Hotel sXVI.

Fantastic Hotel, but get a street map.

The hotel is in a wonderful location right in the middle of the old town of San Juan. The room was very comfortable and the rooftop terrace was a real treat. The staff very very friendly & helpful.

Not really about the property, but it took us 45 minutes from arriving at Telde to finding the hotel. We had 3 problems. Google Maps sent us to the wrong place - twice. The whole area of San Juan comprises one-way streets, where it is difficult to stop & ask because you’re blocking the road. And if you miss a turning you end having to leave the area with a 2-3 km drive around to re-smelter it. For those arriving by car, what would be really useful is a local street map showing the local roads & their direction (if one-way), the location of the hotel, and the location of possible places to park.

I lived on the first floor, and the room was next to the main walking path. So if someone walked by very late at night with loud talking, the noise woke me up

ideal place to stay in Telde, which is a gorgeous little village

perfect location. Staff quick to respond to messages & very lovely. beautiful old building sympathetically restored to make a modern comfortable boutique hotel. great in room temperature control Powerful large shower nice toiletries lovely view from window (room 4) very clean quiet fast wifi comfortable bed
