The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins!
The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself!
Pets and Service Animals: You must let us know if you are bringing an animal to the home, even if it is a service animal! It's important to let the cleaners know. Up to 2 dogs are allowed with a nonrefundable pet fee. They must be less than 50lbs each and no aggressive breeds. NO CATS! Please do not allow your dogs to jump up onto the beds or couches. If the dogs are accustomed to being allowed on the furniture at home, please bring blankets to protect the surfaces. If you forget to bring blankets, let us know and we will provide you with some. If you bring a pet and do not tell us or pay the fee, we will charge your damage deposit for the pet fee plus $100 for the unexpected extra services required to clean the house.
Important info about pool heating and fees: Both the spa and the pool will be at the same temperature if you choose to heat the pool because they share the same plumbing and heater. Most people prefer a heated spa in colder temperatures to a heated pool because the spa is set to 101 degrees and the pool heater would be set to 85 degrees. If the daytime air temp doesn't get above 58 degrees the pool will have a difficult time staying heated. The heating of the spa is included with your stay. If you want to heat the entire pool we have an additional heating fee of $199 plus $25 per night to maintain the temperature. If you arrive at the house and change your mind about the pool heating, the initial heating fee of $199 will not be refunded.
Our pool technician comes on Tuesdays to check the chemicals and Fridays to clean. Our lawn/landscape professional comes on Wednesdays. These dates are subject to change based on weather or other factors, but in general that is when they are scheduled.
The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup.
Per St Johns County regulations, only ten people are allowed per rental, not counting children 12-years-old or younger. That means this property is allowed up to 10 adults and the rest of the guests must be 12 and under.
We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern.
EV Charging: There is a fee of $5 per day if you will be charging an electric vehicle at the home.

Our family loved the house, especially the pool and the huge primary bathroom shower. The property was very clean, beds were very comfortable and the owners were great. We were notified early of anyone coming by for pool, lawn or heating/air maintenance. The house is only a short walk to the beach and maybe a 3 minute drive to the 4x4 beach entrance. Overall it was a fantastic trip and we will definitely book again in the future!

We will definitely come back to this property. It was clean, well stocked. The location was perfect in a quiet residential neighborhood not 10 minutes from St. Augustine. The property owner was wonderful. Full of great and concise information. You can't go wrong here.

We are from Orlando so even though we’re only a 90 min drive, this vacation rental made it feel lien we were far away in the best place possible.
Comfy, clean and lots of space for our teens and us to all enjoy our time together and alone.
We’ll definitely be back.

Location is perfectly situated to get where you need to go in a short amount of time without dealing with rhe everyday traffic. Just a 5 minute walk to the beach of a straight shot to drive on beach access. Overall, very nice.

Great stay for group of 5! Loved the pool and layout of the house!! The Butler state park east was a great place to park with beach access and very close to this location. I wouldn't recommend walking if you have a lot of beach gear.

The property was just perfect! Great location, very clean. My only recommendation would be to provide some beach things for renters who fly in for the week.

Love the spacious home in quiet neighborhood. There was plenty of room for our family to spread out! Location is great for privacy but easy access to historical areas (within 5 miles!) and within a short driving distance to free public beach access.
My grandkids LOVED the pool. The adults loved the hot tub and sitting area outside.
Highly recommended and would definitely go back and choose this home every time!

Our overall experience at this home was nothing short of amazing! The location to the beach couldn’t be better. Very close to Historic section of St.Augustine which we frequently visited for dining. We had such an easy time communicating with David. The private pool and spa were definitely the highlights to the home which our family enjoyed daily. Highly recommend!

Beautiful Three Bedroom/Quiet Neighborhood
Loved the layout and location of the house- rooms are bigger than expected and we are a grown family of 8 plus a 1-year old grandchild. Only issue is it's a 3 bedroom with a sunroom (little to no privacy and is not conducive for a good night's rest or changing clothes).
Pool is wonderful and a definite plus; walk to the beach is a bit tiring but doable with wagons and help. You can pack up and drive closer to/or on the beach.
All in all, great trip for the 4th of July. We would return- just not with everybody, and would bring a broom and dustpan and our own pillows. It really is a beautiful home.

Great family vacation spot
We had 16 family members in two homes. Both clean, organized and well out-fitted. Everyone enjoyed the pools and outside tables. Seahorse home was suited for many eating and playing games around table. Beach close by and enjoyed several days. Pool cleaned twice while we were there and always sparkling Spa instructions were easily followed but only used once or twice as the water was plenty warm for just sitting and relaxing. Ended week long trip with brunch at Connolly's Grill just up the road. Highly recommend it.

Misleading Listing, but Overall Good Stay
The property was listed as 4 bedrooms, with one having a futon. It turns out the 4th "bedroom" is a porch-type room that isn't really suitable for sleeping. We'd planned to use the 4th bedroom for our 9 month old but ended up having to have her sleep in our room with us.
Outside of that, the property was great. The bedrooms were spacious, everything was clean, and the living area is bigger than it looks in the photos, which was a pleasant surprise. The renter before left the pool heater on (in the middle of May), so it took a couple of phone calls to figure out how to turn it off, plus a full day for it to come down to a swimmable temperature. The outdoor dining table was great, but the charcoal grill was a bit of a letdown due to the fact that we had to buy charcoal, lighter fluid, etc.
Communication with the manager was fast and cordial, he was even able to provide the address ahead of time so we could set up delivery of our baby gear rentals. We also opted to do late (12PM) checkout for an additional $50.
Overall, we would stay here again if we were looking for a 3 bedroom accommodation.

Wonderful Vacation Home!
What an amazing property! Close enough for a nice walk to the beach if you have school-age kids. Toddlers/infants would be easy, but I would suggest you bring a wagon. The pool/spa is beautiful and very clean and well kept. The house is perfect and relaxing. Communication with the owner is super easy and he was by far the nicest and most attentive owner I have ever worked with. Book your stay today you will not regret it!

Great house but 3 bdrm not 4
The check in process was super easy. House was clean and centrally located to everything Saint Augustine. However it was not a true 4 bdrm. It was 3 bdrm with a enclosed patio and couch bed that everyone walks through to get to the back yard. Maybe it’s in the description someplace but I didn’t see it and it changed some of our sleeping arrangements for sure. We extended our checkout time and the message never reached the cleaning lady so she showed up at 10a and we told her, she then waited outside for two hours for us to leave. We felt bad for her waiting out in Florida heat.
We would definitely stay here again though. The house worked out nicely and the pool was great for the kiddos (and adults). Thanks for the hospitality.

3rd Street House review
Overall impression was fabulous. We loved the area and the walk to the beach. Weather was cooler than we expected so we were thankful to have the hot tub. House really has everything you need. Beds could use new sheets as ours kept coming off (elastic completely gone) but a quick trip to Target solved that. Otherwise this house, its owners and neighborhood was excellent, we will be back!
