Great get-away. Quiet location
This property is great for those who want to enjoy the peaceful isolation and lakeside location of the bush. We really enjoyed being away from the noise of a big city and having kangaroos right by the door, day and night.
Please note that the nearest civilisation is a fair drive away on an unsealed dirt road. Best to bring everything with you.

Most relaxing place of them all
A great holiday house on the water. Relax read a book or go fishing off your own jetty. Will make this a regular holiday destination.

Best ever!
We usually stay in Huskison however this time we made the best decision to stay here. It is 10 meters away from the waterfront and tranquil place with wide opening for my 2year old to chase after kangaroos and wild birds as well as Julie's lovely pet chickens/turkeys. Kayaking with our 12 years old is never enough just in the beautiful and tranquil river between us and the Sussex Inlet. Enjoy our three meals at the alfresco watching the river flowing in front of our cottage is such a wonderful thing!

Wonderful location!
We recently spent four nights at Christians Minde and we loved it ! The location is amazing with plenty to do and lots of wildlife too. The house was perfect for the seven of us and could not find any faults. We will definitely come back.

Excellent place to stay
This is my second time staying and is truly the best place ever. House is wonderful to stay in. Neat, clean and comfortable. There is so much to do. Kayaking on the river, hiking through the national park or swimming or snorkeling at the many beaches. It is a true gem and you will not be disappointed.

6 of us were rained out of our campsite but thankfully managed to book this great guest house for the night. We all sat out on the outdoor terrace overlooking the water, went for a swim, had a bbq and then enjoyed watching the large amounts of kangaroos on the front lawn.I'd recommend this property and it had everything we needed.

Excellent Location, View and Property
Excellent property and view! Have never seen so many kangaroos this close.
This place is much better than staying in Huskisson which we always did in the past. Will definitely be coming again and recommending to friends and family. Would like to thank Julie for the wonderful and relaxing stay.
