This lovely condo is in very good condition. With affordable prices, it is also a great value. The main room has an open concept which combines the living room and dining room with the kitchen and bar. Vaulted ceilings, ski slope views, a warm fireplace, a large HDTV, and comfy furniture make this an inviting space. The first bedroom has a Queen bed, HDTV and dresser. It also has a double closet and ski slope views, plus there is a full bathroom right across the hall. Just past the laundry room is the master bedroom, which is quite large. Like the other bedroom, the master has an HDTV, dresser, and double closet, but it features a King size bed. It also has a full en suite bathroom and a private balcony too, ideal for your morning coffee. It's only one flight of stairs to the condo, but you're the top floor. When you enter, there is a double door closet with plenty of storage for your gear. Another bonus is that this property has a heated 1 car garage, perfect for storing and drying your skis and snowboards, or just for keeping your car warm and dry. You don't really need a car though, unless you're here in the summer and want to head outside of town. The condo is conveniently located in the mountain village, and the sidewalk right outside leads you directly to the Gondola. The walk is about 1/2 mile, straight and flat. It's too far for those wearing ski boots, for for those renting or storing equipment in Gondola Square, the walk is a great little warm up for your legs, with a coffee shop along the way. There's also a grocery / deli and a couple of bars along the way, but those are better stops for the way home! If you don't want to walk, don't worry, you don't have to! The free city bus picks up less than 100 yards from your door, and the looping route is particularly short and direct when coming home from the slopes. In the summer, the sidewalk outside connects you with Steamboat's trail systems, so mountain biking and hiking are literally right out your door. We visited Steamboat with our adult children to run a trail run and found the property to be in a great location for all that we did during our stay. The property was easy to access, clean, had off the street parking, and was in a quiet complex.

We really enjoyed our stay. The east access to the bus stop was great and we also appreciated the size of the unit.

The unit is nice, but there were several little things that really need to be corrected including: 1. Towels are very thin and cheap 2. No mattress pad on the beds, uncomfortable and Yuk! 3. Several lights did not work! 4. The toilets were really small and short, very weird.

The condo was exactly as described and immaculate. The condo is right across the street from the condo -- took just 1 minute to get there. One thing to note is that you have to climb 2 flights of stairs to get from bus stop to the condo (on top floor). Not at all a problem for us, but something to consider if you have young children. The company was a pleasure to work with - always responsive and helpful. Recommend both company and condo!

The Condo at Sunray was a great place to stay. It was well stocked with all the things you would need to move right in. The garage was clean and spacious for our car and bikes. We highly recommend it and will surely try to get for next year.

This two bedroom two bath unit was excellent for our long weekend of both wedding and community events at the base and downtown. Neighborhood was quiet so we could enjoy sleeping with open windows.

Love Steamboat and had a great visit… but it was too short! Our condo was great. My only wish really is that there would have been a private shuttle available. City bus was perfectly fine, but ate up a bit of time daily. Not the facility’s or owner’s fault at all!

Clean 2 bedroom 2 bath EXCEPT one toilet was broken! I called and reported it at check in @5pm. Promised on site maintenance would be there that night or next day but it never happened! Overall disappointment. Ski shuttles were walkable distance but so packed with people. I will stay closer to free parking lots as those shuttles were efficient in loading people, and not overcrowded as they count out people entering.

Managed to snag a few winter nights here to go skiing. Complex was close to the base and near a free bus stop. Furniture and beds very comfy. Quiet community but garages underneath units do make a rattle when in motion. Loved everything about our stay! Would definitely return!

We were in Steamboat for my granddaughters basketball tournament over the weekend. Had a great time and it was beautiful with all the snow and Christmas lights. The condo was perfect and just as described in the listing. We made breakfast there each morning and there were plenty of pots, pans utensils, dishes etc. It was nice to warm up with the fireplace when we got in. Thanks so much for having us and we hope to be able to stay again sometime!

Great condo that has what a family needs at a reasonable price. Loved the oversized garage, stocked kitchen and numerous fans to combat the hot days. Very clean, nice views and a convenient location. Communication with the manager was easy with prompt responses.
Only slight dings would be to get a bigger skillet than a sauté pan, and the kids said the sofa bed was uncomfortable (which seems to be the norm for sofa beds)

Enjoyed our stay but there were issues with the property. When called management, the response was "we will notify the owner, but it may be next week before they get back to you". We never heard back from anyone.

Lovely Getaway!
This 2BR/2BA unit was just right for our family of 4 (kids are nearly full-sized), and a great location for enjoying non-ski activities in Steamboat Springs. The bedrooms and living space are well-sized, and the kitchen had everything we needed to stay fed between outings. We hope to come back during ski season because the location seems perfect for enjoying the resort!

The condo was comfortable, clean, and close to the bus line. The only downside it is upstairs and carrying luggage etc. upstairs without an elevator difficult. We did not have a car so the bus service was great. The entire area was safe. Never worried about ski equipment being stolen. Would recommend staying here.

Were there for a work commitment and it was perfect for our situation. Warm, clean, spacious and quiet. Garage was a must for us. Location was super convenient. Can’t wait to go again. Thank you

Good Location
I was here at Thanksgiving time with my adult son. Plenty of room for 2 people!! Btw - there's a pull out couch in the living room that is not advertised. We learned our way around Steamboat and had a great time. This was early season, so we encountered no traffic. We were told by locals that ski season traffic is intense.
The unit is comfortable, though outdated. This would be equivalent to a 3 star hotel but with amenities hotels don't offer. The heated garage is a great plus, but neighboring units may park outside their garage, so getting in and out is super tight and sometimes tricky. Once in the garage there's very little room to walk around the car. The condo & area was super quiet, but that may be because it was early season. I don't know. We tried the bus system to get to the mountain, but getting there was inconvenient as we were forced to change busses and wait a long time for the switch. It made no sense. The return trip was direct, though.
As for the unit, it has everything one could want for a comfortable stay. The management company handling the unit is terrific. I would stay here again.
