The location was very convenient for skiers, and the view is spectacular overlooking the ski trails and the mountains.
We booked the Party suite, but the description on their booking.com site was inaccurate about the bathtub so the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us to the Presidential suite. Some disappointment in the presidential suite was the loose faucet in kitchen, bathroom door handle loose and couldn’t securely close. Water in the shower room runs into the bathroom toilet floor. Inaccurate buttons in room phone and wrong room number on the phone. The daily little things like the Q-tips, the coffee capsule, and water were not filled and have to call in to request. Also, no room service for food or drink.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Phoenix Hotel. The rooms were very big and could accommodate all of our stuff. The ease of walking to the get to the ski slopes was incredible! I love the premium day pass, which included equipment rental, all day lift tickets, the sled park AND lunch! So convenient! They also have a good selection of slopes for various ski levels. The staff were friendly and always helpful. There are 2 convenience stores on property, which was handy for snacks. We really enjoyed the activities at the Central plaza each evening- karaoke, billiards, bowling.
One of our rooms had a dirty coffee cup and the convenience items (ex toothbrush) had not been replenished. Both rooms only had 1 bath towel (despite being 2 twin rooms). But, I must say that when I brought this to the attention of staff, they were quick to fix it and very apologetic.

Great location right next to the ski park
We got downgraded!! the room from family room to 2 twin rooms on the first night. It was really annoying that we had to move all our stuff to a new room while we were supposed to be resting and enjoying the snow with our family after our snow boarding lesson. Front staffs weren’t really helpful. I had to go up and down 3 time because the cards didnt work when i was moving our stuff alone. The hotel is not cheap. I wish they would improve their customer services.

All of the staff are very friendly and helpful.I joined In The Soop package this time and the hotel gave many gifts for us.It’s amazing to visit BTS in the soop house. Breakfast is delicious and various. We also booked the BBQ dinner and enjoyed it. It’s my best memory in this Korea trip. I love Phoenix Pyeongchang Hotel sosososo much! Highly recommend.

Exceptionally clean. Reception staff understand English language. Have their own medical doctor on site. Free shuttle bus to hotel & back to station.
The eating facilities were limited & not all were open. None of the convenience stores were open. Had to walk quite a distance off site to get food & supplies.
Should’ve been water in the ‘In the Soop’ room but none was supplied.

great location and for our ski trip. room has excellent view and spacious for all our fat gears. beautiful hotel with great and comforting feel.
The room was cold near the windows which does not block out the wind or the cold temperature. heater works well however then you are dealing with part of the room too hot and dry.
Housekeeping - the tables left dirty and sticky on a daily basis, even from when we first checked-in. kids blanket on bunk beds were never made on a daily basis for the entire stay.

The hotel is near the ski lifts and has a ski valet
The walls are quite thin, you can here people in the hallway or people from the floor above you. Not much food options.

near to the Ski lift
When we checked in, the room door was wide opened. We did a check and found one of the glass was missing and no towel. Feedback to the front desk. The lady at the front desk who was serving was very apologetic but her manager seems not to be bothered about it. Bad service for her Manager. Pillow was very flat but bed not too bad. Hairdryer also spoilt the next day. Overall acceptable but cannot compare to those international chain.

Rooms are nice and clean. The hotel itself is excellent but....
The service absolutely sucks. Hotel is catered for locals and not tourists. I had so many queries sent to the hotel via booking.com and many were not answered, or they just provide a basic response. We had high hopes and were so looking forward to the whole experience there but we left greatly disappointed. There are not many eating places nearby beyond the hotel but the dinner is fully.booked, and we are left with no place to go for dinner.

We did not opt for breakfast as it feels overpriced.
The reception staff wanted to be helpful but they had limited command of English.
The children were very disappointed as the resort's ski facilities were fully booked and again, the people manning the resort's ski facilities cannot speak English.
Separately - you can opt to hire ski instructors outside of resort which is much cheaper.

Everything was amazing starting from the lobby to the facilities, we had an unforgettable time, we wished we could stay longer.
the hotel offers bbq camping that we wished we could book one, but as muslim we couldn’t because they didn’t have halal food or sea food to grill, even in the hotel restaurant it was so hard for us to find something to eat. they were so kind with us but we wish they offer more packages for people who eat certain kind of meat.
but we still loved the stay 👍🏻

The beds are very comfortable. The big windows with a fantastic view. Many options to eat. No need for a car.
All the bathrooms should have a bathtub. Especially after a day skiing, it is a must. Also, they should inform about the services in the Hotel and encourage the guest to use them. Do they have a swimming pool? Do they have a spa? Where? When? How?

Perfectly located for the ski slopes and lifts. Very convenient outdoor valet area to stores skis. Beautiful rooms, very large, beautiful bathrooms with a massive bath to soak in. Large, comfortable beds. Nice wine bar on first floor with live music in evenings. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing to dislike, although it’s expensive compared with the condos next door.

Excellent location and a pretty decent hotel with all the necessary amenities. The location is perfect for ski-in, ski-out (nearly). Great location for a family ski trip.
Not a lot of choices for food. The menus in the restaurant are not great and the working hours not great either
