We liked the experience staying in the camping pod and the town, both refreshing and scenic. Golden Sands Holiday Park had many facilities and activities for both kids and adults. Friendly staffs within the park, very helpful.
It'll be good for the booking site to advice the location of the reception or a contact number to check in, and the laundry system perhaps for first timers.

The pods were good, not too far to the beach.
The toilets/ showers were really quite awful some days more the Mens (poo up the wall) this obviously is guests not the site fault but it was stil there 3 days later. There was also dog poo left outside our pod which was dealt with straight away but maybe something to check when people leave.

The pod was lovely - Clean and comfortable. The pool was brilliant - Lovely and warm. The staff were all really helpful and friendly.
We were let down by the cleanliness of the toilet block as there was often toilet paper all over the floors. One evening, my husband went into the mens to discover all but one toilet blocked. We don't feel they were checked or cleaned regularly enough.
The club house was messy too. There was rubbish on the floors that was not cleared away from previous people sat at the table.
The food was not good. My chicken burger was not cooked properly and I told my husband to go to sainsburys to get his dinner instead. It also said it would be 2 chicken fillets and come with salad, coleslaw, etc. Instead, it was dry bread and one badly cooked chicken burger with some chips in a box... I was expecting at least to get what I ordered from the menu, even if it was in a polystyrene (bad for the planet) box.

The pod was great for just us two as a couple
The pod was great for just us two but the bed was very uncomfortable and it had plastic on there and with a flat sheet it kept coming off and with the heat it making us hotter

It was a great way to camp. Comfortable beds and good use of space. The toilets and showers were close by and clean.
It would have been lovely to have some outside seating

The hut was small but had beds and a table with mirror and a bin so can’t complain as that is what we expected.
The staff were really friendly and approachable. Entertainment team were great with the kids.
Arrived after a very long 5 hour drive, and with check in being quite late (from 4pm), to arrive and realise we were expected to make our own beds was really disappointing. We were knackered, hungry and had 2 kids in tow so that wasn’t the best start to our family break.
We were also told at reception that you had to book the swimming session on the day and it was only for an hour! This wasn’t mentioned anywhere before we booked and again was very disappointing, we had to get up and make our way to the pool for 9am when the staff would come out and take bookings.
Having said that, the queue was never very long and we were always able to get the time that we wanted.
It would have been nice to chill by the pool for a few hours whilst the kids played in the water though but nevermind, we left after our hour as requested.
The restaurant was pricey for what you were getting if I’m honest but overall the food was good and the kids enjoyed it.
Location isn’t the best, it’s roughly a 15 minute walk to the ‘beach’, there isn’t a beach here really, just a train track along the seafront and a path to walk down. The shops and food places are scarce.

awful from start to finish
Dirty, staff are rude and unprofessional
8.0 / 10.0
Value for money. How modern and new the Camping pods were.
Even though we paid for Premium wifi for 4 nights the speed and signal was awful. Felt ripped off. The public showers desperately need more hooks or shelves for clothes. Everything gets wet on the floor.

Excellent pods
Shower facilities unusable due to no where to put stuff while showering without getting wet

Location and price
The entertainment was crammed no room to sit down so we had to stand for 2 hours while are kids played.
Lots of amuzments broken.
Weather was awful thunder and lightning

We got a very good mid week deal for £56 total for 2 nights which was exceptional value.
The cabin was clean and spacious.,It's also in a relatively quiet part of the property with ample space between other cabins, The location is good and and a short walk to nearby shops, cafe's and the beach.
Staff at reception were cheerful and helpful.
The showers and toilets were dirty and below what you would consider a glamping experience., There was also no place to change inside the cubicle properly so you have to stand on a wet floor or on a towel outside the shower.
For the price I paid I cant complain but I would not pay the high season and weekends rates.

Location was perfect
Very dirty in the entertainment area tables was sticky like they Havant been cleaned for weeks.
Arcade could do with an update and a good clean
8.0 / 10.0
Biggest issue was there is only one reception and it was at far end of park to train station.
It would make more sense if the reception was in a more centralised area
