Excellent Property

Property was very clean, with everything you needed. I loved that there was handwash and cleaning products as surprisingly they are not always provided. Beds were super comfy and there were enough glasses, crockery etc. It really felt like a home rather than a rental.

Nice quiet location, pleasant walk into the village, which had everything you needed, shops, cafes, pub etc, easy access to walking trails and not far to reach other areas by car.

We slept in the small room and the bed was very small and unfortunately not particularly comfortable. Nice touches like coffee pods and welcome cake (yum). But the it could do with a lick of paint.

Excellent accommodation & beautiful countryside but car essential for access to walks & shops.

Very comfortable and well equipped. A few very minor problems - needed to run dishwasher more often than needed due to limited cutlery and crockery, a light bulb blown & a towel rail not hot. Nothing to detract from the high quality accommodation.

Our main complaint (not Emma's fault as far as I know) is that we booked a long way ahead for five nights, and at quite short notice we were informed that the Barn House was double booked for our last night. I was told that I should cancel our final night to get a refund from Booking.com, which I did. Emma messaged an apology but we have had nothing else by way of compensation which am unimpressed by. The Barn House is situated in beautiful countryside and is only 2 miles from shops & restaurants. We are walkers but unfortunately the narrow road to the town is unsuitable for walking, and we needed to take the car to access all our walks as well as for shopping

Great location for visiting several historic properties in the local area.

Very nice and stylish modernization on a farm property. Convenient location to several sites we wanted to visit. parking was included.

A lovely place to stay

Lovely clean property that has been well thought out, it offers plenty of space for a family and all the utilities you could need. Everything was easy to find and the host provided very clear instructions. Would happily recommend this property.

It wasn't walking distance to the village and you couldn't pick up phone calls in the house (though you could a little way outside)

A great pad for any family!

Though the location was initially challenging to find (due to postcode deficiencies) the location of the barn was setback from the main road - nice and quiet private drive, and being close to everything we needed to be by during our stay. Emma (the host) left us a lovely cake to enjoy on arrival which was super thoughtful and much appreciated. Kitchen and living space is great - nice and spacious bathroom on the ground floor. Both beds were super comfy, and a nice private garden too really complimented this property. We’ll definitely return!

A few of the furnishings - lamp on vanity table (upstairs), TV remote in master bedroom did not work during our stay.

Amazing property ran by wonderful hosts who were very accommodating and helpful. The space was beautifully decorated and modern with great facilities and absolutely spotless. Can’t wait to stay again.

A wonderful short stay for our family and our pet dog.

Beautiful and modern accommodation with all the mod-cons that you could wish for set in a lovely part of the English countryside. The property had been prepared with a lot of attention to detail and the hosts had even left us fresh milk in the fridge for our arrival. You couldn’t ask for more, thank you.

Cozy

Very clean and welcoming. Coffee and a chocolate cake on arrival was a nice touch. Easy check-in and check-out. Few minutes drive to city centre to get anything you need.

Would happily recommend the Barn House.

The quiet location was ideal for travelling to see family in Loxwood, Cranleigh for shopping and also not far from the sea. House was fully equipped, clean and spacious. I would stay at the Barn House again.

Very enjoyable stay

High end rental property; all very well appointed and well kept, and spotlessly clean too.

A bigger selection of kitchen utensils would have been appreciated, for example there was no kitchen scissors, potato masher, tongs etc.

The barn is so cosy and warm! Loved the TVs once we worked out how to use them. Emma responded quickly to a couple of queries.
