at least it didn’t have cockroaches
It was a dingy lonely place far from anything, very dated and clearly targeted at budget dorm-style ski accommodation seekers, totally wrong for summer travellers or holiday makers. No staff and upon calling multiple support contact numbers , I contacted a very rude unhelpful person. There were no features or facilities to this place. The only thing to do is watch the dated TV, for which no remote control was supplied. Worse than disappointing, even a bit depressing. I can’t believe it had a 7.7 rating!

Nice quiet location. Slept well.
No toaster or microwave. Would really appreciate a microwave to be able to warm milk for my coffee.

The owner is very friendly and helpful, and just great to talk to. The overall atmosphere of the place was nice and the location (close to town but not in town) was ideal. The shower was impressive - hot water in about 2 seconds!
The gutter as you turn into the driveway is a terrible angle - a hell of a bump even if you approach it straight on and slow in an AWD. Although I really like the general feel of the place, I think it could use a little spruce. Just things like big screws used to tack things to the walls, and chipped paintwork, nothing big.

well priced
No staff, room needed a table

Contactless check in and check out was very easy to use. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and well located. There is an on site restaurant with a great range of meal options too.
The mess in the carpark is a bit of an eyesore.

The receptionist is very unpolite. The price is way too high for the accommodation and service.

Restaurant has good food, queen beds were ok. Everything ran smoothly with our trip, there was no issues with access.
Single bunk mattresses were quite thin, rates were high but it was peak season.

I was actually moved to the Alpine Resort Motel as Acacia did not have any hot water during my stay.

cleanliness, great value for money, easy check in and out process, parking onsite/close to room

Room layout was great, with aircon and bright windows.
Bathroom had no extraction fan and poor airflow, leaving it damp throughout our stay. Hot water was inconsistent

It's a very basic accommodation, however it is clean, quite, cheap and comfortable. I was there for a summer event.
Two single beds pushed together to make a double bed.

Location is good, easy to find and quite close to Jindabyne shopping village if you need to buy stuff. Check-in process is a breeze because they tell you the code to get your key from the safebox beforehand. Room is adequately spacious, comfy bed, and awesome shower!
Not much at all. If I have to nitpick, I'd say the door for my room is a bit on the tight side - have to really push to open and close it. Wouldn't say it's a big issue, but.

Easy check in process. Room size was huge. Doonas were warm. Plenty of beds for a family. Quiet location
Bathroom didn't have fan and was very mouldy. Pillows were thin.

Check communication and process was great.
A bit noisy, but for people outside so not much could be done

Easy to book and check in. Value for money was one of the best places we have stayed at. Spacious Room and everything you could want for accomodation for a night away on the road
