Localisation parfaite.

Colazione turca a buffet buona e variegata.
Staff gentile.

The beauty of the hotel and cleanliness as well as the atmosphere and views. Also the kindness of the staff and their attention to detail.
No private balcony and street parking. Breakfast could be a bit more varied.

Akanthus is a beautiful property, quaint and yet tastefully designed. Our room was large and very comfortable and everything that we needed in the room was provided for. The bed and pillows were fantastic and the hot showers were great and much appreciated. We chose a room with a view and the views were sublime, we enjoyed just drinking our coffee and looking at the hills in the distance. The pool looked very inviting and is well maintained but too cold for us to venture into.
The hotel is in an excellent location, most important sights and restaurants were either a short distance
walk or drive away. But really what stands out is the warmth and welcome we received from Muharrem and his staff. We always felt at home whenever we got back from a long day with Muharrem ready and waiting to offer us a cup of coffee and cake. Muharrem is always happy to share all his knowledge of the many different sights and gave us several tips about the various restaurants and other services in the area. We highly recommend Akanthus to anyone who is considering touring the Selcuk area. There will be no regrets!

Everything at this stunning boutique hotel has been carefully thought out. I loved the outdoor pool area with delightful views, Turkish towels and to spend the late afternoons having a glass of wine and a cheese platter whilst reading a book and listening to soft music. I loved the delicious breakfast in the morning with fresh local ingredients. I loved how comfortable and beautiful the rooms were, with huge beds, fluffy pillows, beautiful decor and furnishings.
I loved every inch of the hotel.

Beautiful, quiet, clean boutique hotel. Breakfasts were delicious. Lovely pool in the courtyard. Room was well appointed, plenty of closet space. Staff was very pleasant, professional and accommodating. A special thanks to Soner and Murat who were helpful and informative on any request and who woke up to say goodbye and help with luggage for our 3am car to the airport. I highly recommend.

As you arrive at the unpresumptious wooden door of Akanthus Hotel Ephesos, in a charming narrow street of Selçuk Turkey, nothing will give away what you are about to experience. When you open the door, you not only step into a beautiful courtyard with pergolas, a small swimmingpool, and various little seeting areas, you step into a breathtaking piece of ancient Turkish history.
This small family owned boutique hotel is built with a rare love for Turkish architectural tradition and an exceptional eye for details both in the interior and the exterior designs, and the result is stunning.
The rooms are very spacious with lots of light and tastefully decorated and the bathrooms are beautiful.
Beds are comfortable, air condition working impeccably and no noise can be heard from anywhere.
Breakfast buffet is delicious with fresh food and a variety of Turkish homemade delicacies and several choices of eggs cooked and served on demand, and can be enjoyed either in the cozy dining room or in the courtyard.
Coffee, Turkish tea and fresh homemade cake is complimentary available all day.
Several interesting and historical sights are within walking distance and the owner and staff is more than happy to give you suggestions and arrange guided tours if you prefer that.
The staff and owner are very professional, always smiling, friendly accommodating, and attentive to your needs without being intrusive or pushy.
It is a place where you immediately feel safe and at home.
I can in good conscience say that this is the best hotel I have ever been to, and I have been to a lot around the world.
A British idiom says "The world is your oyster"
In my opinion the Akanthus Hotel is one of the rare pearls you are lucky to find.

For my wife and I this hotel was perfect. The owners and staff were incredibly obliging. Most importantly the bed was very comfortable, not something you find often in Turkey. The breakfast was really good which you had sat in a very private, shaded courtyard, very chilled atmosphere. Location could not have been better for visiting all the sites around Selcuk, most of which are within walking distance.
There really was nothing you could find fault with. The hotel does not serve meals in the evening but that is really not a problem as there are some quite good restaurants within walking distance as you are literally five minutes from the town centre.

A beautiful boutique Hotel in the quiet part of the city and yet a few min walk away to the Train station., Very friendly staffs and owner, makes you feel at home that extended my stay for another 2 nights, the breakfast was the best I had during my stay in Turkey, so fresh and yummy.
I would recommend this place to anyone and will be back when i’m in Seljuck

We stayed for 3 nights at the Akanthus while visiting Ephesus and other sites in the area and wished we could have stayed longer. The property is a quiet oasis, well designed and meticulously cared for. The rooms had local character but at the same time felt very new and comfortable. And the common pool area was a delight to relax in after a day of sightseeing. The location was perfect, within walking distance of most sites and restaurants in town but on a small alley away from the noise and traffic. Breakfast was a great mix of Turkish dishes, fruit, yogurt, and pastries. To top it all off the employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. Thanks to Arda, Efe and the rest of the staff for an amazing stay.

Excellent breakfast and ideal location in Selcuk
wifi is weak, I think probably because of the stone walls

I'm so happy I booked Akanthus. Everything was perfect, from the location and the charming setting to the friendly and helpful staff and a fabulous breakfast too. The all-day coffee and tea with fresh cake was a lovely touch too.
I cannot think of a single thing that I didn't like or find any fault with Akanthus Hotel. It rates as one of my all-time best stays in Turkey.

This is a great hotel near Ephesus. The staff was very helpful. The owner of the hotel was very nice and was interesting to talk to. He recommended nearby sites, beside Ephesus, that I would have missed.

I have reviewed alot of hotels and few if any are as good as this one. Its hard to do it justice with a few lines here. The decor is beautiful, the atmosphere is serene, the staff are wonderful, breakfast is perfect. It's suitable for solo travellers couples and friends. Look no further if visiting ephasus. There is a tree lined walk from the hotel. Forget a taxi, its a lovely walk.
There is nothing bad or even slightly bad about this hotel. I will definitely come back to stay

everything! Arda kindly upgraded the room for us with a very nice view. the hotel is nicely decorated in a modern style but also with a lot of local characteristics such as the ceramics and the carpets. bed is comfy. the pool is beautiful(sadly too cold for this season) and you can sit by the poolside to enjoy the sunset. good restaurants in 5min walk.
nothing.
