This Spacious Brick Beach House gives you the true New England experience, with Ocean Beach Park just steps away! The home is a split level design. Our fully furnished 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom house even allows a group of 12 relatives to live comfortably and lavishly! SLEEPS 12 IN BEDS! Maximum 12 occupancy!

Beach passes ARE NOT included with booking; can be purchased at Ocean Beach Park admission booth(s). Public commercial olympic sized pool located at Ocean Beach Park (pool passes ARE NOT included w/ booking; can be purchased at park). Unfortunately dogs (pets) are not allowed inside Ocean Beach Park.

Ocean Beach Park is down the street from the home, open Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is less than a 3 minute walk, only a block away, to the patron walk-in admission booth. Walk down the driveway and take a right, follow straight down until you reach the park entrance. Guests are able to utilize Alewife Cove for water activities such as kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards (NOT included). Guests are expected to comply with the CT water safety guidelines/requirements. There is a water access area 5 blocks away where you can access the water on Parkway Drive (Waterford, CT). It is a very short walk across the bridge (to the right) that brings you to the water access area.

Besides water activities, the immediate area is a great place for walking, jogging, or bike riding.

All photos also act as a digital floor plan/walk through of the home.

Guests have access to the entire home. We are only steps away from Ocean Beach Park: Open from Memorial Day - Labor Day. No need for parking; you are a short stroll or bike ride from all the summertime fun Ocean Beach Park offers. Once there, the beach also has picnic tables, showers & bathrooms, which is amazing to have as a convenience! All you need to bring is the suntan lotion!

DO NOT REMOVE SMOKE DETECTORS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES! YOU WILL BE FINED $750 AND REPORTED TO VRBO/HomeAway FOR THIS SAFTEY VIOLATION!

DO NOT OPEN ANY OF THE WINDOWS IN THE HOME. THE WINDOWS ARE NOT DESIGNED TO BE OPENED. YOU WILL CRACK AND SHATTER THE GLASS. ANY DAMAGES TO THE WINDOWS AND/OR GLASS WILL RESULT IN $750 DAMAGE FEE, PER WINDOW. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN WINDOWS.

The house has a driveway (and back/front grass area) that can fit up to 5 CARS MAXIMUM! ONLY PARK on the driveway side of the home to the LEFT.

All Bookings: standard checkin 2pm and standard checkout 10am. Unfortunately, there are no extended checkins or checkouts. We do not have the ability to extend checkin or checkout times. Also, we do not accept trip alteration (dates) once booking is confirmed.

We are flexible with allowing pet(s) upon request, at $150 extra flat rate fee, per pet. This additional "pet fee" will be applied after booking/prior to checkin through the "VRBO/HomeAway fee request." This fee covers a separate cleaning service to remove pet hair/dander from the home and also utilization of specialized disinfectant & cleaning agents. We appreciate this advanced notification at time of booking, that you are bringing the pet(s) along on your trip. We understand that pets are just as much a part of the family as people. Although, we kindly ask that you please keep the pet(s) off of the furniture, couches, and beds. Also, please be courteous and properly dispose of any waste when they utilize the outdoor restroom. Any incurred pet damages to the home or its contents, will result in a damage claim to VRBO/HomeAway, that the guest will be held liable for. Maximum 2 pets. The pet fee is non-negotiable.

Please Note: DURING SEVERE INCLEMENT WEATHER, MANAGEMENT MAY NEED TO TIE DOWN AND/OR STORE AWAY OUTDOOR FURNITURE TO AVOID DAMAGE. All outdoor furniture also is removed/stored away each fall season (by 1st week of November) for winterization, then re-assembled for guest usage in spring/summer seasons (by 2nd week May).

We kindly request that the furniture and layout of the home IS NOT to be moved around or reconfigured. DO NOT alter any of the home electronics: TVs, wifi, cable boxes.

When coming back from the beach, please hose off all sand from bodies and beach chairs (items) before entering house. Please also shake out all sand from beach towels.

Used beach towels and linens can be deposited in the 2 hampers located on lower floor outside of the bathroom.

Please, DO NOT REMOVE the mattress protector covers from the beds when changing linens.

Garbage cans are located on side of house by the outdoor deck. Garbage pickup is on Friday mornings. Guests are responsible to ONLY bring garbage cans out to curb at end of driveway each Thursday night (if applicable). Recyclables can stay in bin and will be picked up by management.

Guests are welcome to use the air conditioning/ heat to their liking. Although, please turn the thermostat to OFF once your stay has ended. DO NOT SET AC LOWER THAN 70* - SYSTEM WILL MALFUNCTION REQUIRING SERVICE. Air flow can be manually adjusted at each return vent.

Alcoholic consumption is prohibited for any guest(s) under the age of 21.

A $150 fee will be incurred for any(each) lost/ broken fan, TV, or cable box remote controls.

We DO NOT provide on site facility showing(s) and/or walk-through services prior to booking your stay.

We ARE NOT responsible for the receipt or procurement of any guest packages ordered/delivered to home before, during, or after their stay.

Washer/Dryer located in lower level bedroom 2, through door.

You will be notified through the message board, the day/morning of your stay (fifteen minutes prior to your selected check in time) with the keyless entry instructions and code.

We kindly ask that ALL communication is made through the VRBO/HomeAway message board; to only utilize the telephone contact in the event of a true emergency.

Please be advised, this rental property ONLY CONTAINS items specifically notated on the listing page. If you are requesting the provision of an outdoor bbq grill, umbrellas, beach chairs, specific cocktail glasses, serving plates and cooking/baking items, cooking/baking spices or condiments, folding chairs, air mattresses, etc, or any other non-standard item(s) that are not listed, please plan ahead and bring your own. The items that are provided at the home are already above and beyond the standard rental accommodations, so please plan accordingly. Liked the area but it has changed alot over the years. The house was a nice size for all 11 of us. The house was comfortable. Well stocked. Rooms were a good size. The bathrooms need some updates but clean. But overall we all had a great time. Would rent again

The house was located in an ok neighborhood. There’s no water views nor is it near water. It’s nice enough inside, but the house smells extremely moldy. Especially the downstairs bedrooms. The bedding even smelled moldy. We woke up early and left as soon as we could. Two of us were coughing all night from the smell. The downstairs toilet didn’t flush, but it ran all night and kept making flushing noises every couple of minutes ALL night long and kept us awake. The downstairs bathroom looked dirty, old, and smelled like mold too. Really regret choosing this house.

Mother recently moved back to NY. We enjoyed her 74th birthday with grands and great grands.. They had her on the beach in the pool and mostly enjoying the location of the house. Wonderful place and great location.

It's a beautiful property with plenty of room for a large family. It's a block away from a beautiful beach with a nice little boardwalk. It is also close to many beautiful sights in Mystic, CT; Groton, CT; and even locally. If you have any questions they are quick to respond. The process of arriving and leaving the property went smoothly. They gave clear directions on everything. Would definitely recommend this property and location to those seeking a well rounded vacation.

This was a great location, walking distance from the beach which is a big plus. The home is itself was spacious enough to host 8 adults comfortably. The home was well equipped with kitchen, cleaning tools. The house was very cool, the downstairs rooms were much colder than the upstairs rooms. We closed the vents in the downstairs rooms to even out the cold air in the house. The host was very responsive to our questions. All in all we had a great stay.

A little over 2 weeks OK, my family and I had the pleasure of spending a few days at this property. Our stay was wonderful, we did not regret booking this property. We decided to book our stay here because we were impressed with how detailed the owner was about amenities, rules, expectations, etc.. They did not disappoint. Check-in was fairly simple. The place was clean and everything was has described or shown in pictures. The neighborhood was peaceful and quite. We really appreciated the effort that the owner and team put into preparation to make our stay comfortable and worry free. We had a wonderful time, and would recommend this property to anyone.

A regular coffee pot would be nice and change out one electric plug in each room that has a phone charger in it. The toilet in the master needs changing out. A recliner in the living room would be useful. Loved our stay.
