Our fully furnished 5 bedroom and 3 bathroom house even allows a group of 12 relatives to live comfortably and lavishly! SLEEPS 12 IN BEDS! Maximum 12 occupancy!
Beach passes ARE NOT included with booking; can be purchased at Ocean Beach Park admission booth(s). Public commercial olympic sized pool located at Ocean Beach Park (pool passes ARE NOT included w/ booking; can be purchased at park). Unfortunately dogs (pets) are not allowed inside Ocean Beach Park.
Ocean Beach Park is down the street from the home, open Memorial Day to Labor Day. It is less than a 3 minute walk, only a block away, to the patron walk-in admission booth. Walk down the driveway and take a right, follow straight down until you reach the park entrance. Search and visit Ocean Beach Park web page for 2025 Summer: direct pricing details, info, and events schedule.
Guests are able to utilize Alewife Cove for water activities such as kayaks, canoes, or paddle boards (NOT included). Guests are expected to comply with the CT water safety guidelines/requirements. There is a water access area 5 blocks away where you can access the water on Parkway Drive (Waterford, CT). It is a very short walk across the bridge (to the right) that brings you to the water access area.
Besides water activities, the immediate area is a great place for walking, jogging, or bike riding.

Guests have access to the entire home. We are only steps away from Ocean Beach Park: Open from Memorial Day - Labor Day. No need for parking; you are a short stroll or bike ride from all the summertime fun Ocean Beach Park offers. Once there, the beach also has picnic tables, showers & bathrooms, which is amazing to have as a convenience! All you need to bring is the suntan lotion!

We are flexible with allowing pet(s) upon request, at $150 extra flat rate fee, per pet. This additional "pet fee" will be applied after booking/prior to checkin through the "VRBO/HomeAway fee request." This fee covers a separate cleaning service to remove pet hair/dander from the home and also utilization of specialized disinfectant & cleaning agents. We appreciate this advanced notification at time of booking, that you are bringing the pet(s) along on your trip. We understand that pets are just as much a part of the family as people. Liked the area but it has changed alot over the years. The house was a nice size for all 11 of us. The house was comfortable. Well stocked. Rooms were a good size. The bathrooms need some updates but clean. But overall we all had a great time. Would rent again

The house was located in an ok neighborhood. There’s no water views nor is it near water. It’s nice enough inside, but the house smells extremely moldy. Especially the downstairs bedrooms. The bedding even smelled moldy. We woke up early and left as soon as we could. Two of us were coughing all night from the smell.
The downstairs toilet didn’t flush, but it ran all night and kept making flushing noises every couple of minutes ALL night long and kept us awake. The downstairs bathroom looked dirty, old, and smelled like mold too. Really regret choosing this house.

Mother recently moved back to NY. We enjoyed her 74th birthday with grands and great grands.. They had her on the beach in the pool and mostly enjoying the location of the house. Wonderful place and great location.

It's a beautiful property with plenty of room for a large family. It's a block away from a beautiful beach with a nice little boardwalk. It is also close to many beautiful sights in Mystic, CT; Groton, CT; and even locally. If you have any questions they are quick to respond. The process of arriving and leaving the property went smoothly. They gave clear directions on everything. Would definitely recommend this property and location to those seeking a well rounded vacation.

This was a great location, walking distance from the beach which is a big plus. The home is itself was spacious enough to host 8 adults comfortably. The home was well equipped with kitchen, cleaning tools. The house was very cool, the downstairs rooms were much colder than the upstairs rooms. We closed the vents in the downstairs rooms to even out the cold air in the house. The host was very responsive to our questions. All in all we had a great stay.

A little over 2 weeks OK, my family and I had the pleasure of spending a few days at this property. Our stay was wonderful, we did not regret booking this property. We decided to book our stay here because we were impressed with how detailed the owner was about amenities, rules, expectations, etc.. They did not disappoint. Check-in was fairly simple. The place was clean and everything was has described or shown in pictures. The neighborhood was peaceful and quite. We really appreciated the effort that the owner and team put into preparation to make our stay comfortable and worry free. We had a wonderful time, and would recommend this property to anyone.

A regular coffee pot would be nice and change out one electric plug in each room that has a phone charger in it. The toilet in the master needs changing out. A recliner in the living room would be useful. Loved our stay.

I have nothing too terrible to say about this property. It was spacious enough and the sleeping accommodations were great for my group of 9 adults. However, my only comment has to do with the bathrooms. They were clean, but they were well-used and could use some updating (beyond paint). The bathrooms could each use some renovation. In the lower level bathroom, there was a lot of rust around the vent area and the shower had been painted but the paint was chipping so it gave the appearance of not being clean. I would also suggest that there needed to be more towels and washcloths Expecting a party of 9 to use only one washcloth each over the course of 4 days seems to be a little unreasonable. We had to do a load of laundry in order to have clean towels/washcloths.
Otherwise, this property was great and really suited our needs quite well.

We found the property to be clean and well stocked( could have used baggies Saran Wrap or foil ). Location was perfect for our purpose. The number of bedrooms afforded privacy for everyone. There was plenty of parking for our party .
It appears that there have been many renovations which are great, but the bathrooms could use updating.
I gave you a 4 for communications since it would be nice to talk to a person.
All in all our expectations were met and would certainly keep VRBO in mind for any future getaway.

I hooked this house for myself and friends and there was more than enough room for all 12 of us. This listing made it very easy to get to the beach and also came equipped with beach chairs in the basement. I would definitely stay here again.

Family members arrived from New York, Texas, and Missouri for a 5 day beach vacation after a nearby wedding. We used all 5 bedrooms, and it was great that our daughter could be downstairs next to the (huge) bedroom that our granddaughters stayed in. Each granddaughter (age 6 and 9) had her own queen bed - sharing a bed wouldn't have worked nearly as well. We had 4 guests for lunch one day and 2 guests for lunch another day. The kitchen facilities, dining area, and outside deck table worked well. The place was spotless, the glassware sparkled, and we had every possible pot and pan, dishwashing pods for the dishwasher and detergent pods for the washer and dryer. In addition to a full stove, there was a microwave. We brought our own coffee maker because we wanted bigger batches than the Kerik the host provided. We would have liked a toaster too. It was a short 2 minute walk to the beach, and a deep wagon was available to cart lunch and supplies. Even a hose near the main entrance to wash off the sand before returning into the house. Perfect for us. Plus we had 3 cars that fit neatly into the parking area provided.

Great for large parties
I hooked this house for myself and friends and there was more than enough room for all 12 of us. This listing made it very easy to get to the beach and also came equipped with beach chairs in the basement. I would definitely stay here again.

Family Getaway
Family members arrived from New York, Texas, and Missouri for a 5 day beach vacation after a nearby wedding. We used all 5 bedrooms, and it was great that our daughter could be downstairs next to the (huge) bedroom that our granddaughters stayed in. Great location and spacious rental
This was a great space and very close to the beach. Very convenient for multiple families needing their own space and then a common area that fits about 5-8 adults very comfortably with lots of space for kids to run around. Everything was clean and there was good provisions for cooking. The only thing we were missing was a grill lighter. One of those things that is easy to forget to bring with you and wish they had had one because it really affected us one day as we were ready to light the grill and food was prepped and everything. Luckily a neighbor leant us one!
The only real issues we had were:
- the bathroom in the basement was really problematic. We had a clog every day. No exaggerating. Everyday we had to call it in and wanted to stop using it altogether but it would have been too inconvenient since each family had their own designated bathroom near their room. The up side is they sent the plumber extremely quickly every time. But it did begin to put a damper on things having to report and deal with plumber so much when we didn't want anyone in the house for social distancing concerns. He became a daily guest! Grateful for the quick response but sheesh. We were not doing anything special... Even began minimizing toilet paper once the trouble began. But it still clogged everyday... I think there's a need for a new toilet which the plumber mentioned he recommended.
- the neighbor chastised our toddlers for running back and forth on the grass adjacent to the property. It seemed to be part of the property and later she admitted that part of the grass was for the house but that we crossed over by about a foot or so. It was not very neighborly and later she must have felt bad and brought us cookies. But it really put a damper on that day. There are no instructions about where the lawn stops and we were clearly not doing anything destructive. We were blowing bubbles and the kids were running around. She said it was for our safety that we should not be there. It was kind of ridiculous in my opinion. It seemed that she just didn't feel like having to restrain her dogs and so she told us to not be there. But if she is correct and we cannot be on the grass there should be more clear instructions about this. I don't like being accused of my child trespassing while I am on vacation!

Location, location, location
Short walk to Ocean Beach, convenient to great area restaurants. Plenty of room for our extended family getaway for 6 adults, and pet friendly too! The outside of the house seems much smaller than inside. We rented a different property from the same owners last year - glad we did again.

CT Beach House - in the winter
We booked this home because our daughter was competing at the Miss America pageant at the Mohegan Sun Casino (under a half hour away). The proximity to the beach is AMAZING and even in the winter we took advantage and walked the beach a few times. The house is deceiving from the outside - it's spacious and very clean. My only complaint is that the kitchen isn't fully equipped - I couldn't find a blender or a wine bottle opener. Otherwise, plenty of counter space as well as storage for the food we brought. Big fridge with plenty of freezer space, too. Beds were comfortable! Laundy on site if you need it. Would love to go back when it's warmer!

Quick but nice stay
Lovely spacious property very close to the beach. We had an issue with the AC overnight and the property got a little warm. However, overall it was very nice.

Lovely home very close to the beach
Just got home from a terrific getaway to Ocean Beach Park. Our kids (4 and 6) loved everything there was to offer: the arcade, the small amusement park, playground and pool. We didn’t even go into the pool but having this option was nice. Beach is absolutely gorgeous and huge. Very clean. White sand beaches and this time of year, not at all crowded. The house was a short maybe 5min walk to the beach. We appreciated that the house came equipped with a wagon, chairs and towels.... this was a huge help! The house really has everything you need, and it is exactly as pictured. Very clean, very spacious. I do wish the windows opened as this time of year there is a nice cool breeze at night but I understand why the owners don’t allow that. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would recommend this place to anyone. Excellent for our family with kids but could also see a bunch of couples or friends enjoying all of the space here. Oh we also ate our best meal at caffe NV which is about a 15 min drive and it was DELICIOUS!

Good Short Getaway House
Location:
- Great location. 5 min walk to the Ocean Beach Club. 10 min drive to the grocery store. 20 min drive to USS Nautilus Museum.

- Comfortable beds and pillows. Clean bedrooms and bathrooms. Bathrooms can use a bit more essentials - like q-tips and shower gel, but it’s just a suggestion.
House/kitchen
- kitchen was well equipped, but definitely could use some extra items, like wine glasses and kettle. If you are traveling with a smaller group - you will be fine. As a group of 10 - we definitely could of used more than just 1 cutting board and 6 dining chairs. But overall we were not uncomfortable.
House/outdoor area
- it was nice to have a patio and sun porch available. Outdoor grill helped a lot with dinner/lunch preparation.
Overall:
- good house. The manager was responsive and accommodating. We had an issue with a/c unit that was addressed almost immediately. We do recommend this property!

Beautiful Home and Great Location
This home is just as you see in the pictures. It was sparkling clean and plenty of space for 12 members of our family. Everyone had their own space. The two queen beds in downstair room was perfect for the young family traveling with us. We had the opportunity to visit Mystic Seaport, which was a short driveaway. It was a nice, quiet neighborhood and the beach was an easy walk, with plenty to do. Of course swimming on the beach, there is a built in swimming pool, splash pad for kids, amusement park and water slide. Also a restaurant with arcade and ice cream stand. The owner has beach bags, beach chairs and extra beach towels as well as a wagon to pull them in. Grocery stores are just a 7 min drive. The owner is well prepared and considerate of his guests. You can see that he treats his visitors has he would want to be treated. We had a terrible experience elsewhere, BUT you will not be disappointed here. We all loved our vacation and thank you Constantine for taking good care of your property and your visitors!!!

VERY CLEAN HOME!
We had a short weekend stay at the home but it was perfect! The house was extremely clean upon arrival. The house has clean bath towels and beach towels. Overall I loved the home itself. The only thing is that the house is for 12 guests but there’s only 10 beach passes so the other 2 people have to pay for a pass which I don’t think is fair. The pool is also not at the property, it is at the beach and there is an entry fee of $8 I believe for the pool. Besides all that I do recommend this house. If you’re looking for a home that’s clean, spacious, modern, and close to the beach then this is most definitely the house for you!
