Very basic hotel that requires refurbishment very expensive for what it is

The position right on the beach was the best feature of the hotel. It was very clean and the cleaners were lovely and always said hello.
Reception staff were very helpful and when I asked for shower attachment to wall could be mended they sorted it the same day.
I could have coffee and toast with cheese and ham in the bar area rather than have full buffet breakfast . Bed was very comfortable with clean bedding.
No kettle and coffee/ tea making facilities in room. I saw other reviews so took a travel kettle.
TV only showed Spanish TV no English channels.
I didnt use the pool as it was too cold to go in fully. Only children used it whilst I was there probably as other adults felt the same.
It was right at the end of the area so a long walk to where most of bars and restaurants in Torrox were.

good location

Location was far end of the beach. The view was great. Some restaurants close but not that many.
the hotel is getting a bit old. Our balcony was very small and had 2 ACs on it so not much space left.

Location
Some of the fittings a bit shabby. Hotel has seen better days.
8.0 / 10.0
Our room had an excellent southerly aspect directly overlooking the beach.
The staff were top class, friendly and efficient.
There is 24 hour concierge cover.
The room safe was broken. The maintenance man spent ages trying to fix it unsuccessfully.
The internet was not secure, but when I mentioned this to the reception staff they connected me to the office wifi which was excellent.
Room to room soundproofing was poor. This was annoying as a guest in the next room made late night and early morning phone calls.
There was an empty space for a fridge but no fridge or welcome tray.

Not cheap but definitely good breakfast. Rooms on the seaside very silent. The private pool and beach in front of the structure were a good luxury.
It can be difficult to find parking on the street nearby and the parking of the hotel is very dusty, though quite near.
8.0 / 10.0
Convenient. Clean and well decorated. staff members were very helpful
no parking places, had to ‘find’ a place in road near the hotel. No food available on arrival. No tapas, or even crisps in bar.

Our flight due to land at 9.40pm was two hours late ,the hotel is almost an hour from airport so it was after midnight when we got there. The staff had kept food for us ! Never before have i had this happen, really nice touch. The hotel is right on the beach, just walk through the garden by the pool and the boardwalk to the beach...shower outside the gate so no sand brought back in, the garden has artificial grass and excellent quality, comfy sunloungers. The hotel is spotlessly clean, our room was serviced every day. Our stay was 22nd to 30th October so the area is extremely quiet, nothing happening unless you get the bus in to Santa Rosa. Beautiful sea front/promanade walks for miles, some nice restuarants on it,again very few open due to season. Fabulous place for chill out.
Let's talk food !
Breakfast was really good ,lots of choice, everything fresh and tasty.
I wasn't there for lunch so can't comment.
However i was there for dinner....the chicken, meat, fish were all lovely, really nice but so,so badly presented by the fact that there was just a handful of chips on the plate with it. The only offer of veg was what looked like saute courgettes, while on the menu it was seldom on the plate. No colour,no sauces,no garnish.,no rice,no pasta,no salad,no potatoes.....nothing !! Extremely disappointing. Desserts were also a let down. I honestly couldn't recommend dinner, bland and boring.

safety deposit box was not working and it would appear it’s been the case for a long time and there was no fridge in the room

Exceptional location.
From pool to beach and back. All day.
Food and staff were great.
Room was planned to have a large bed and only got two singles next to the other.
Building could do with some renovation. Elevator was out of service the first weekend, but thoses things can happen.

Close to the beach, and not too crowded. Easy to get there and the room was comfortable . The breakfast was very complete.
The overall opinion of the hotel is great, but it could take a little more maintenance of things, like pool side, some appliances (hair drier did not work), details, just details

Close to the beach with wonderful sea views. Good loungers on the terrace next to pool
Clarification Covid rules at buffet breakfast!!
Didn't like having to pay for any food or drink immediately and not able to charge to room.

Fabulous location on the beach. Sitting on our balcony looking at the ocean and the gorgeous sunset was so relaxing and spiritually uplifting...just what we needed!
We didn't eat at the hotel because it was just an overnight stay, but it seemed very popular and had a full restaurant during the day and a busy bar in the evening.

All the staff were so wonderful and the Hotel was beautiful

The sea view was perfect.
Hotel was not over crowded.( not surprised at the price)
Rooms were very basic .we paid 164 € per night !!
Airco was on balcony so if we sat out on it at night it was very warm
The location was very nice on the beach .
Staff very friendly ,but very limited in English.
It was very simple things which if they were present it would have made our stay more comfortable.
No waste paper bin In room,no hangers in bathroom for clothes,or used towels.no mini bar ,or coffee/ tea facilities.
After paying 164 € per night I asked for sea view and had to pay 20€ per night extra.
We are now at another Hotel for far less per evening and have so much more luxury.
So in short basic hotel ,but daring to charge full price 🤔

Location was good. Quiet neighborhood, but still right at the beach.
Bed wasn't very comfy. There were 3 one person beds and pretty soft. Noisy room close to the elevator.

But I was expecting it to be nicer from the pics.

Loved this place - a real gem. Only stayed here one night but wish I had stayed longer. Boutique feel to the place - right on the beach with a fabulous pool area. In the evening we took a stroll along the front (walked miles but all flat) had a meal and then sat on the balcony with a glass of wine enjoying listening to the waves
Slightly bigger room and coffee facilities but not the end of the world
