Close to the beach
The property is old in style and in service - it feels very stuck in the past. The rooms and furnishings are old, our rooms had no ventilation in the bathroom so we had to open the door to shower at night and mosquitos loved it - every night we were killing them and also getting eaten alive. Breakfast is average and not sufficient for gluten free options. It finishes at 10 on the nose and even just before things had run out. One morning I could not eat anything on offer but was told I was too late for additional. On checking out we asked for the receipt in my partners name but were told it had already been printed in mine and wasn’t possible to redo. We will never be back - there are better options!! This place is past it!!

Beach, room was great as was breakfast . The staff were very friendly and helpful
Only ate dinner there 1 time and it was a bit of a disappointment. It would have been nice if the pizza place close by was still open for business

The location, the beach, the view from the breakfast
The AC is so noisy that we can’t sleep, even when the AC is off, but then the bedroom is so hot we can’t sleep neither. That means we couldn’t sleep the all week. Hunts on the bedroom. The employees are not nice, they never smile. The kitchen from the beach bar closes at 14h that means the all afternoon we have nothing to eat… the day we checked out they tried to made us pay for the umbrella more expensive than the other days saying that we were no more clients from the hotel…. That’s how they treat the clients.. once you check out they don’t care about you. The breakfast typical from a 2 star hotel. You have almost no choice. the hotel is really old, all the furniture, the lifts… a 4 star hotel in the 60’s for sure because now it’s more a 2 stars. Never coming back again.

Really lovely hotel and amazing sea room views as the hotel is right on the beach. Breakfast is fab and the room was clean and made up daily which was a great touch! Staff were really friendly and helpful too.
There’s not much to do around the hotel so you need to travel to do anything. Taxis are really expensive but there’s a really great bus service right outside the hotel that goes every couple of hours - would suggest car rental too.

the pool is huge and very deep, and it’s located right on the beach. rooms are cleaned every day.
the bar tender is great and can make most cocktails.
You cannot use the pool between 1pm and 3pm because they have no insurance?!
The bar is closed between 2pm and 6pm, so no poolside drinks then.
And lunch is only available between 1-2pm. Which would not be an issue but the surrounding area is totally empty, there’s two restaurants with poor quality food within walking distance.
The shower wasn’t always hot so I had to take cold showers for two of the days. When the shower does work it floods half the bathroom.
The maids are constantly banging doors, so don’t expect to sleep past 9am.
Breakfast was pretty bad, and very few options. asked for fried eggs instead of scrambled and they charged me?! 😂

Great location if you're looking for a chilled vacation with nice access to the beach. The beach was immaculate although having to pay for the sunbeds seems a bit cheeky. The beach and outside area were also nice and clean. The hotel is only 15min drive from Pula with nice restaurants and a few bars and shops.
The hotel standards overall are not 4*. This would be an ok 3* hotel, but that's it. The bedrooms didn't just lack taste, but also comfort - the king size bed is a joke, it's two beds pulled together but the mattresses are not even together, there's a significant gap between them which makes it impossible to share the whole bed.
The breakfast was good but very basic, and the hotel staff were not particularly friendly. Plus there's a serious problem with wasps flying around us and our food although the staff didn't seem to care when we pointed it out.
The beach bar is also very basic, no cocktails and very few spirits.

Pleasant and helpful staff. A clean and gradually modernized hotel. Very nice the beach.
Every day was exactly the same breakfast with very little choice. The room was clean, but we had ants coming from the balcony. The bathroom was new but the shower without hand shower !! Just a fixed shower in the wall. Terrible for women who don't want to wash their hair every day. Very impractical. Probably the biggest surprise - our room was non-smoking but the room next to it was not. The smoke was reaching us through the connecting door. In a 4..stars hotel ??? I think the management should also look at other countries to see what the current service in 4stars should look like.

For our purpose of the holiday the hotel was perfect. All staff were excellent and helpful. The décor and feel of the hotel is in the 70's but gave a quirky feel which we enjoyed.
The size of the shower was a little small and beds were 2 singles pushed together to make a double

the bed was very lumpy and uncomfortable and I had 3 bad nights of sleep there. The mini bar only had 2 small bottles of water and there were no coffee or tea making facilities.

The pool, beach and bathrooms in the room were nice.
Most of it was run down and very outdated. the elevators smelled of mildew and jerked while moving and when coming to a stop. Our blankets in the room were filthy and the replacements smelled musty. The beds were very uncomfortable (the springs in the mattress could be felt. The waiter in the breakfast bar served me coffee only and then I came back down for breakfast. He looked at me and said “Madam, you’ve already had breakfast”. We were very disappointed with our stay and will not stay again.

Location close to Ironman event and also direct access to the beach was great. Hotel provided storage and space for our bikes and offered an early breakfast on race day - all of which made things much easier so was very much appreciated. Rooms were clean and housekeeping did a great job tidying around a lot of personal items. View of the sea and beach was amazing.
Breakfast is okay but not great, mainly continental and we prefer a cooked breakfast. Dinner is expensive for its average quality and were relatively small portions. However, we came during off season so facilities may have been restricted.

Front Desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
Excellent location. Right on a beautiful beach. Garden / Patio pool area was perfect.
Surprised by the large balcony in our room. Very nice for a quiet evening drink.. but lots of mosquitoes so beware.
15min drive from Pula which is a truly beautiful little town, with a number of excellent restaurants.
In my opinion, not a 4 star hotel. 3 at most. This property has so much potential to be excellent. Its beach is beautiful and location excellent.
- Food at this hotel was like school food. Very very basic and overpriced for what you get. Breakfast was awful. Waiting staff were not friendly and were unatentive.
- No safety Deposit Box in room.
- The bed was old and uncomfortable/ protruding springs.
- You can hear everything in the rooms next door and hallways.. very thin sound insulation.
- For Covid times, the room was not clean to a good standard. I had to buy disinfectant wipes and clean grime from bedside lockers. Cloth was black after. Not very hygienic.

Great customer service (Grazie Stefano!), Location and clean pleasant rooms.
Wifi doesn't work, so if you have an online covid test before returning home, the mobile reception and the WiFi is a real issue.

It's a very good value for money hotel. A bit dated but with refurbished bathroom. Right next the the beach, make it perfect if you are looking for lazy relaxing vacation. Staff is very helpful, breakfast is good, the pool is clean. You can rent umbrella and chair set in the beach with discount, right next to the hotel. Totally recommended.
Some temporary noise in the 5th floor due to AC problem was disturbing, but we got immediately relocated to the 4th floor when we requested. Wifi not available in some parts of the room.
