The room was wonderful. The suite had two distinct areas and our Daughter was able to have her own space detached from ours. The food was wonderful. The pools were great, all of them. I find it difficult to fault. The beer and gin and tonic were good. Premium drinks came at a reasonable price over and above your all inclusive package.
The food by the pool was OK but a bit beige. The wine was 2* however I’m reluctant to criticise anything. COVID restrictions did have an impact.

The buffet was good. The facilitkies in general are great. Plenty of sun beds, good gym, really nice gardens. Great place to go for a All Inclusive. Seemed like it was plenty for the kids. We had massage in the spa and that was great!
The biggest problem is the poor organisation of staff and how they work in the dining hall . Clearing tables and making ready for new customers. Its very slow and poorly organized. Also when you leave your table if there is any cutlery that seems not to be used they leave it when they clear the table and only replace what is obviously used.
We also booked 2 special dinners - a BBQ in the mirador and a Buffet in the Origins restaurant. The BBQ was poor. There is a salad buffet (excacly the same as the normal buffet) for starter and while we were eating that the waiter came with a large dish with all the BBQ meat - which was all overcooked and dry. The Origins buffet was just a little better than the normal Buffet - but not worth paying extra for but the surroundings were nice.
Also in order to have a coffee after dinner its hopless as there is only one bar with 2 or 3 staff open in the eveneing. Long queues..... Its organised so that people dont use it (save costs - as 95% of the guests are All Inclusive). We have seen many comments like this, but they dont seem to mind....

We spent very nice time here, kids club has a lot of activities, pools area was nice and with lot of sunbeds and umbrellas. Staff was very friendly and food was also good. There was a variety of the food every evening.
Beach is reachable, we had a car, so with no problem.

Never left a bad insight about a hotel in my booking life. But this time it is the time to do it.
People who were smoking drugs inside the room next to mine.. and rooms are communicated internally with a double door, so the smoke was coming.
I warned to the reception about this and they moved me to another room the day before I was leaving, I had to package everything to do it again one day later, and they decided to keep in the same room the another group because they have been for long duration. At least they could upgrade the room, but it was not the case because of that, but this ruined my last day.
2. Worst AI i saw, if you want an orange juice in the breakfast you need to pay it. They dont leave you a water of bottle and the room, so they recommend you to buy them an empty plastic bottle with their logo to fill it🥲.
3. They have some restaurants inside of the hotel, as other brands have for free since it is All inclusive(at least is very exclusive, in that case I can understand it), But in this case if you want to book, you need to pay 18eur each(3 options to pay, 1 included :/) , so just one option in the AI.
4. I tried 3 times to drink a mojito/caipirinha from the machine you need to do it by yourself(they dont do it in the bars), but it was empty in different places in different times, it was funny to see different people getting water thinking it was mojito till they tasted in the sofas).
5. Rooms are quite old.. and they have a machine to buy cigarretes in the bar so imagine the show.
If you are coming to the island there are better options, cheaper or not cheaper, but they will be better options.

Very nice place with good food, heated pool and nice weather. Take a room with a view, amazing sunsets from the balcony.
The information about different happenings was trough qr-codes.

Staff was friendly- overall. Some really nice. Few exceptions, who seemed bored. Room cleaning was below par and in 5 days, despite repeated requests, simply refused to replenish in room coffee stuff.
Run down impression. Seem to save money on items like in room towels… so old and worn I would use them as rags to wash my cars!! Also, they discriminate against Booking.com guests, offering worse rooms and admitting to it.

nothing
the parking is too far, there is no signs to tell you where to go, the staff do not assist you with luggage even when you have a small baby and there’s too many stairs with no lift access, the Christmas dinner was an absolute disaster, the rooms are very basic and you have to pay to use an iron and pay for WiFi it’s very dated and the entertainment was a joke! never again will I stay at a princess hotel. thank you for ruining Christmas

very well kept with very nice staff. big comfortable rooms. decent food. very good salad bar.
the high security vibe in the food hall was bizarre and a bit off putting. no coffee after dinner in the food hall is just weird. should have better veggie food options readily available although they do have a custom made veggie menu - one of the chefs was lovely about this, one not as much. the veggie poke was not good. pizza not good.

Beautiful area, scenery, hotel grounds, atmosphere. This is definitely one of the best resorts in Canary Islands.
Delicious food, friendly staff, cleanliness. This was my 3rd visit and can't wait to be back again.
I would raise the temperature in the heated pool.
Can't find any other issue.

The pool area is truly resort-like, and the views from the room were fantastic!
The entertainment from the animation team, I especially enjoyed the aqua fitness!
The restaurant the mirador is quieter and has nice views
The bed was not comfortable, the mess with serving the drinks for paying customers (half-board customers have to pay for drinks separately)
The hotel is located very remote, there is nothing else in the area beside a diving company on top of the hotel. It is perfect for an all-inclusive stay with good weather.
The bathroom is very old fashioned, the shower head is not possible to be moved. There was not any hair conditioner nor body milk, only a dispenser of shampoo and gel combined.
If you arrive at night, it is very dark and the signs are very confusing and the colour of the text is not easy to read.
They need to clean the window glasses in the restaurant the mirador more often, they were very dirty.

BAD SECTION (not enough place in the other)
BOOKING SCAM. ALL INCLUSIVE SCAM. FOOD HEALTH & SAFETY. UNHELPFUL STAFF. INEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. RIP-OFF. BAD LOCATION. NO WIFI.
AVOID -AVOID -AVOID - AVOID
BOOKING SCAM
The listing of my room on booking.com clearly mentioned a doubled bed AND two single beds but once arrived they only had a double and a sofa in each room. Booking.com confirmed the hotel made a mistake when listing the rooms for three people (which they quickly modified) but they refused to apologise or provide a compensation. It cost me 120€ to upgrade so we can all have real beds, which they could have given me for free because the hotel was far from being full and my booking was already almost 700€ for something that clearly mentioned 3 real beds (not a sofa!)
UNHELPFUL STAFF
The staff is absolutely unhelpful. At reception they cannot do anything other than check-in, because the main hub is in Barcelona and they are always closed. They are so rude, maybe because they seem to work all the time, but generally even if you’re nice to them they just refuse to help and they are very unpleasant when they talk to you, and unsupportive.
INEXISTENT CUSTOMER SERVICE
You can try, there is no customer service for Princess Hotels! I do not know what the laws are in Spain, but it sounds more like Columbia to me. They will not talk to you, you cannot make a complaint.
ALL INCLUSIVE SCAM
5 restaurants go down to 1!!! They advertise everywhere that you can have meals in 5 restaurants, but they closed all but the food market which is basically just a big school restaurant buffet. If you want service at table it’s 18€ more per person! The food is of the most basic quality. There is almost no drink included, you have to pay for a premium package to get any cocktail that does not come from a machine. Even the non-all-inclusive can have free wine and beer. You have to pay for the spa, tennis and actually almost everything.
FOOD HEALTH & SAFETY
We were all sick for the three days we were there. The food stays warm on the buffet for hours, and the quality is really poor. It is not clear that the staff respect basic hygiene regulations.
RIP-OFF
There is nothing special about this place. For the price, we were expecting something spectacular, but it just isn’t. It’s a basic hotel with basic (degraded and old) rooms, with a buffet and a pool.
BAD LOCATION
It is literally on the southernmost point of the island, and because the west road is cut by the volcano eruption there is only one way to access it. It’s on an old lava slope, there is no tree around other than huge banana plantations. There is no beach nearby (you have to drive) and they’re not nice. There isn’t much to do in the area either.
NO WIFI
YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR WIFI. What the hell. They only give you a basic connection enough to browse very slowly, and if you want to be able to view live tv or have video calls you need to pay 6€ per day per room. I just have never seen any hotel apart from Britannia’s where you had to pay for wifi.

At the breakfast and dinner was so noise and crowded
Also Canarian refuges were staying there
No nice place to stay when you want relax
4.0 / 5.0
Beautiful hotel, clean, the pool is great, nice location. Tasty grilled fish and meat, the bars were good.
Only 2 restaurants, at the night only one is open, buffet style, that was kind of boring. The chinese food was bad, and if I want chinese I go to a buffet at my home country. Programmes only inside, the pool bar closed before closing time, the disco for the adults was cancelled.
3.5 / 5.0
Breakfast was good, unfortunately as we only booked B&B there was no other facility outside the hotel to eat, and inside was full at the weekend so we could get nothing to eat!!!!
More restaurants to pay to eat, and the entertainment was very poor, only catered for children
No umbrellas by the poolside
2.0 / 5.0
Really unfriendly staff. Have been charged for tennis court reservation even after i've cancelled that. No mini bar offered at booking.com. Food was poor, to get anything you had to wait in a huge queues.
4.5 / 5.0
The breakfast was very nice and a variety of different foods to suit the whole family.
The juice machines and coffee machines were constantly running out and needed replenishing faster than the staff could manage.
2.0 / 5.0
Great breakfast buffet and dinner buffet. Pools are amazing, but only open until 20, which is a petty for the price one pays. Should be open until 21, since there is a lot of sun still. Great gym with an amazing trainer that helps you and explains workouts to you!
Pools and pools bars close to soon. Personel was rude and not helpful. There is very little healthy food available outside of the buffet (only burger, pizza and hotdogs or a completely insipid salad). Water is only for all inclusive guests, but since I paid 120 euro the night with my boyfriend, I think you can allow me to take a glass of water through out the day... Toilets smell, a bit dirty. I saw cockroaches
