The apartment was very close to a nice beach, the supermarket and the restaurant was very good with friendly staff.
The restaurant which is part of the apartments had amazing food. The pool was really nice and never too crowded.
There was a big table in the shade in front of the maisonette that we could use with the other group.
The studio was modern and comfortable.
- only one room key
- nowhere to store safely our luggage at departure
The below comment is related only to the maisonette (room 16) NOT the studio which was fine.
We were a group of 8 and stayed in two different apartments. The studio near reception, was good but the maisonette in a separate building was really not at all matching the rest of the building or the images on booking. The furniture and walls smelled (mouldy? Musty?) and we couldn’t air it. The furniture was very old, freezer door was not closing and wardrobes were smelly so didn’t feel like putting clothes in them. it didn’t look like anything on the pictures on booking, only the bathroom was renovated. the double bed was tiny, air con upstairs was too laud, two beds were strangely positioned at the entrance of the apartment, no doors to close off any of the bedrooms and there was often laud music from the next door pool until late.
The outside table was really good and we loved sitting there but the maisonette really needs renovation.

Breakfast was at the adjoining hotel and was lovely

Location of the hotel
Balcony
swimming pool
- The shower door was broken (absent), which made it difficult to take showers properly.
- The entrance door of the room is so thin and not isolated that we could hear everything (cleaners in the morning from 09:00, people of the restaurant and wind making the door vibrating)
- there were ants in our studio !!!
- no one at the reception to ask for daily stuff
- the music of the swimming pool from the other hotel was way too loud, it made us stay inside by two evenings and close the windows as we couldn’t hear each other on the balcony.
- air conditioning was working but we couldn’t adjust the settings. So we had to turn it on or off on the electrical panel.

Camelot Royal is a very nice place to enjoy your holiday. The apartment where we stayed was very spacious ,equiped with everything you need. The restaurant of the hotel serves a lot of delicious foods, well seasoned, it is definitely a must. The hotel staff are always there to help, very kind and friendly. Very healthy breakfast choices, always fresh, a lot o varieties. Would 100% recommend staying here.

Camelot is clean, spacious, with everything you could need, close to the beach and many stores. My husband and I needed to work and WiFi worked perfectly. The restaurant is delicious, very good food, I loved the crêpes. Very kind staff as well! Pet friendly :) We spend a nice week there. Thank you!

Clean and comfortable room for a family. Friendly staff.
Nearby are shops and restaurants where you can find what you need.
Alexander beach is in 5 minutes walking. Fully recommended restaurant is in the enter of the hotel, which is a traditional greek cousine with delicious foods. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed at the Camelot Royal Beds for 5 nights. After arrival we've found out that they upgraded our room type for free, just because they had the room available. That takes the customer service to a next level.
The hotel is situated in the quiet area of the town, however, everything needed (shops, beach) was in walking distance (max 10 min), which we found a great plus.
Wifi and air-conditioning worked perfectly. I would also like to mention the hotel aesthetic, especially the bathroom was just beautiful.
Prepaid breakfasts were just amazing - delicious food and huge portions, we almost weren't able to finish it. :) They even provided me with a vegan option, which I highly appreciate (my boyfriend went with classic continental breakfast and was more than satisfied). We also stayed for a dinner once and it was an exceptional experience.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, we felt really welcomed. If we were to visit Crete again, we would definitely choose the same hotel.

We stayed at the Camelot Royal Beds for 5 nights. The room was big enough with a beautiful modern bathroom and very good air-conditioning.
You have access to two different pools and although they are not directly connected to the apartment-building, it's a very short walk to get to them.
Breakfast was amazing, we ate way too much :-)
And the restaurant serves traditional Greek dishes that are so yummy! We had dinner a few times because we knew that it was good so we stayed there every time.
The service is incredible, the staff at Camelot Royal Beds was SO friendly, we were really sad to leave.
Wifi was great, high-speed and worked perfectly (which was good as we work online while travelling).
We would definitely recommend this place any time!
