Next time, We may not stay this place again

Comfortable & near MTR

We stay 4 days 3 nights but 1. They not change our cup/glass or clean. 2. We come 4 people but they not prepare things in the room for 4, we have to request over and over again. 3. The towel not clean have some hai, dust before we use and not hygiene in some point.

Ad pics not equal to reality

None, don’t be fool by the pictures featured on ad.

I find it difficult to justify a 4-star rating for this hotel; my experience felt more aligned with a 1 or 2-star establishment. First, there was no porter or concierge to assist with our luggage upon arrival, which was particularly challenging given that I was traveling with two kids and four large suitcases. Next, the receptionist was quite unfriendly. There was no greeting—just a rushed credit card transaction. The lack of warmth was disappointing and set a negative tone for our stay. When we returned to check in after our room was supposed to be ready, we encountered a different receptionist who was similarly unwelcoming and rude. This treatment was unexpected and unwarranted. Lastly, the room itself did not meet my expectations. It was evident that cleaning was not a priority; the room was dusty, the bathroom had visible black mold, and the carpet appeared to have been neglected for some time. Additionally, one of the bed linens was badly stained. Overall, this was a frustrating experience. I believe hotel management must address these issues, from capital expenditures to better staffing, to ensure a more positive guest experience.

It was a nice stay, with great staff hospitality and perfect location

Regal kowloon hotel is a great place to stay when you're in the city, it is near to mtr station plus there are lots of stores and resto outside the building. The staff are also helpful and accommodating like Mr. Dennis Dulay who help us during our stay. The family room that we stayed in is spacious and has a great view of the beach. The room and their bathroom are well cleaned. Also, you should try their breakfast buffet cause they serve delicious food.

Much improved

Since my last visit in 2023, the hotel has made a number of improvements: - there is now a ‘conciergerie’: 2 member of staff in charge of the left luggage (still no back room and therefore the entrance looks messy) and 3 member of staff acting as porters… before there was only 1 person and no porters) - there are now 2 lines at the reception for check-in and check-out (although a fair few clients just jump the queue) - bedroom is pristine clean: good size bathroom (need a refurb but still very good) + bed is much more comfortable due to the addition of a mattress topper (good night sleep even if you have a back problem) - the area seems to be much busier : there are now a large number of shops, restaurants etc. Apart from these, the hotel has maintained its cleanliness throughout and the staff is friendly, professional and very helpful. All in all, I am happier with my stay this time around and would definitely recommend the Regal Kowloon hotel.

Room was so grande I forgot I was in Hong Kong

Kind size bed is my favorite, along with the C-shaped chair that placed next to the nightstand.

The soundproofing in my room doesn't seem to be very effective, nothing more.

Affrodable hotel

Accessible to Kawloon and a bigger room

The building is old and less lights. There is a lot of luggage on the main floor and the counter is bigger than the check-in counter. Unfortunately, the staff services look less professional overall. Free shuttle bus service is suspended temporarily now.

Exceptional

Room was neat and clean. Excellent location. Close to Victoria Harbour and many other tourist attractions. There are numerous restaurants around this hotel. Overall, we had a very pleasant and safe stay.

The hotel is located very close to the Metro, so commutating become very easy. The hotel is neat and the staffs are pretty helpful, response time if excellent.

1- the check-in time is 3 .. and I traveled from India and reached at 11.00. ( that's around 9 hrs of flight after the layover at Bangkok) Check-in at 3 is not feasible especially when you are travelling with your family and have a baby. even after telling them that, there was no consideration. Though I understand, cleaning and making sure the room is ready for the guest takes time but some level of consideration should be given to individuals traveling with family /Baby at least when requested 2- the booking rate through booking.com was 5400 HK dollars and was confirmed, but when checking in the hotels demanded 5900 HK Dollars, and the reason given, was rates had changed .. I fail to understand that when the booking is confirmed how does the rate change? No one was available to respond to this .. none from the Hotel and no one from Booking.com

A pleasant stay in overall.

The location and staffs were friendly.

The requests sent out about 4-5 days before our arrival weren’t read & no reply. So as expected that amenities were short after we checked-in. The cottons of the new bath towels were scattered like dust whilst wiping off my hair & body, they could have been gone for laundry in prior to ensure the threads were firm before use.

Dirty linen, blood stained towel, dusty room, room never vacuumed during our stay. ask help to get taxi to airport and staff ask to flag down the cab ourselves

I booked 2 family rooms but the receptionist gave me 1 family room and 1 single room, and told me that's what I booked. I showed them booking reference, it said 2 family rooms. Then the receptionist told me there's no available family room and tried to add extra beds in the single room. How could they add extra bed in such a small room???!!! It's totally unacceptable. After 30 minutes arguing and waiting, they told me there's finally available family rooms...didn't they just tell there's none??? And in that lifelong 30 minutes, many other residents came down to complaint about their rooms, smoking smell, dirty bathroom, broken facilities...definitely NOT recommend to anyone to come...
