Very good

The room was quite modern and comfortable. It was a nice place to stay but I was only less than a day there. There is a bakery in front of the hotel with nice pastries and sweets.

Exceptional

The beautiful garden within walking distance & it felt homely. Super comfortable. 👌

Issues with the card machine. My master card nor visa card seemed to work. But am sure the hotel will fix it 😀

Good location, reasonable prices, but cheating with rooms...

Nice quiet location. 10 minutes by car or tram to the city centre. A few restaurants/cafés nearby. Nice walking area/park.

I am completely disappointed with the number! I booked two identical rooms for the same price. But I got one normal room (exactly as described and matches the photo provided) and one small reduced room with a small bed! And I still had to pay the full amount! Despite the fact that the second room was smaller! See the attached photo of the so-called "double" room. I think it's cheating!

Clean and Tidy. No frills but ideal for a single traveller on a budget.

The facilities are a little basic and the room small but to be fair it does reflect in the price. Everything was spotlessly clean. The shower and toilet facilities again were really clean and no shortage of heat. The breakfast was ample and the host was very helpful. Ideal for a single traveller on a budget. Well located in Stuttgart and ideal if you are visiting the Mercedes Museum (High;y recommended). So all in all very happy and would use again.

The parking was not dedicated and I was lucky to get a spot outside. Not much to do in the immediate area as regards Bars etc.

Expensive bad "breakfast"

Location is amazing to go to Mineralbader and Wilhelma zoo. Stop of public transport is very near. Check-in from 14.00

We booked a room for 3 people: me, husband and our 3 y.o. usually she had no problem to sleep with us in one bed. Beds in this hotel are not meant for this. I almost did not sleep on both nights holding sliding beds together for our child would not completely fall down on the floor. Beds are very light and sliding easily from each other. Another thing was breakfast. It is unacceptable to charge 10 EUR per person per day for such food. On a first day I had to go to reception 3 times: to ask for bowl for a yoghurt (there was none), to ask for more juice (it was only one type of juice and 0.5 l available and ask for a spoon. When we came for breakfast, there were dirty dishes from another quests on 2 of 4 tables. On a second day, the lady on reception disappeared after she let us in to breakfast room. There were only 3 buns for 3 people. Our family eats 2-3 buns per person. At the end, I got one more bun but was said that it was from yesterday. This day was no croissants. Only 2 small glasses of juice left for 3 people. The first thing we did after this "breakfast" was to go and buy food. If managers of this hotel read this review, please, refund our money for breakfast. I regret that I didn't ask for refund immediately. Third thing: there is no lift in the hotel. It was not fun to get on the 3rd floor with a 3 y.o and a suitcase.

Super comfortable beds and a friendly staff were highlights. Tram stop right nearby made getting into the center extremely easy. If you're looking for an inexpensive option for Christmas Market exploration, you can't go wrong.

We had a nice stay

The breakfast was excellent as were the beds. The host was very friendly. In spite of the very warm weather the room was cool enough to sleep well. The location is very central and in walking distance of the old city and the Mercedes museum.

The location is reasonably quiet, but we had some police sirens and car hooligans disturbing the sleep. Maybe just bad luck. Due to the current road works the city entrance took 20 minutes.

Very good

Staff at the hotel were very helpful/friendly/professional! Breakfast was plenty & tasty. The room was clean, beds were very comfortable. We could park the car just around the corner (free!). Hotel Berg is located at walking distance from the Mercedes Benz museum, an absolute must see. Ubahn station is closeby, city center can be reached easily. Hotel Berg counts 2 more happy customers.

Close to river & parks & tram

Surprisingly good location close to Bad Cannstatt across the Neckar. Also the Mercedes-Benz museum is at walking distance. Close to an S-Bahn station. A small family business. Clean and tidy. Friendly personnel. OK for a night or two.

Towels had seen better days, the bed was a bit soft for my back. No one to meet you, if you arrive in the afternoon. Make a phone call at the door to get a code for the key box.

Very good

I booked a single room and it was a lot bigger than I anticipated. The bed was a queen size rather than a single bed and it was super comfortable. The staff were efficient and friendly and responsive when emailed. The room and common areas were very clean and bright.

The breakfast room was a little small and crowded.
