Sehr gut!

Modernes Bad. Zimmer eher älteres Mobiliar aber sehr gemütlich.
Bad/WC ohne Tür zum Schlafzimmer. Es ist en Suite.

Great location in Freiburg. Quaint hotel with a fabulous history.
Unable to have dinner in the restaurant at 21:00> We were impolitely and abruptly declined even though we explained we were residents. I guess the staff wanted to get home. I understand that!
4.0
Excellent location. Staff is competent and very attentive. Cleanliness of room.
It takes a bit long to get the right temperature for a shower. Would be nice to have the opportunity to make tea/coffee in the room. Rooms facing the street can be a bit noisy at nighttime when leaving the window open.

Location and history of the property was special . The dining area was a pleasant area and breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly , helpful and smiled . There was also a lift .
4.5
Fantastic location in the heart of the city. The staff had been great and took really care of us. The integrated restaurant is super convenient for having dinner. Would come back at any given time.
Lack of parking facility might be an issue when you arrive by car.
3.5
Location was central to the town, and provided easy walkability.
No air conditioning. It was warm and a surprise that it was without air. The desk helped us get a fan for our room, but it was a bit warm.
4.5
This hotel was great. It is in an historic building and very charming. It's very close to the Oberlinden tram stop in the altstadt. The breakfast was wonderful - 2 kinds scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, assorment of cold cuts including salmon, rolls and croissants (so flaky), yogurts, jams, veggies and fruits, juices, tea, coffee. Everyone enjoyed it.
The hotel is not air-conditioned, which is very standard in Europe. So that's not a complaint but rather a point of information. The street can be noisy well into the night, so a white noise machine might help.

Location was excellent. Breakfast was good.
No fridge or kettle in the room. Often the front of house was unattended so a kettle would have been great. Only one chair in the room and only a narrow desk.
5.0
Exceptional! Easy to find, spacious modern room, comfy bed and pillows, the friendliest staff and an exceptional breakfast.
4.5
Breakfast was great, room nice, with courtyard.
No tea or coffee making facility in room, no amenities (shampoo, shower cap, hand cream, etc). For the price, we expected a bit more.

it’s in the center of the city, old beautiful building. the room has modern interior and feels freshly renovated. the shower has good pressure and water is very warm. the heaters work perfectly it was very warm and cozy in the room. the bad was really comfortable.
the bathroom is it so big, especially for big fellas

lovely atmosphere and welcoming staff
WiFi was patchy

Location was ideal. We enjoyed staying in such a historically significant building - the oldest gaesthaus in Germany.
There was no internet on one whole side of the building. Rooms were adequate but had no historical charm commensurate with its status.

Location
Clean
-nothing in the room, no kettle, no tea, no coffee
-dont forget to book a room if you want to dine there, no table for guest, we had to eat biscuits in our room, without tea. Nothing was proposed, sad.
-suite was very noisy, people in the room upstairs were making loud footstep noise both late and early
3.5
the food! the restaurant is great.
the rooms are very old, carpets etc

Well, this is the oldest Inn/Guest House in all of Germany and you can literally feel the past and it’s history. The bar and restaurant area which also serves as reception is very beautiful and everything is tastefully decorated, and downstairs there is even a small museum. All the staff are kind, cheerful and very helpful. My room was quite small but cosy, and doors open onto an small outdoor patio area. The bed was very comfortable. Cable TV with mostly German programmes but they did have BBC World and CNN etc. My only disappointment was that there was no internet connection in my room and I really did need to use it for work.... however, I could use the internet downstairs in the restaurant/Bar area. Again, the staff were very helpful trying to get me connected in my room, but it was impossible.
No internet connection in my room so had to go downstairs to the restaurant to go online! This definitely needs to be addressed by the owners.

helpful and friendly staff. helping overcome the rigid inflexibility of booking.com to accommodate the changed needs of the different members of our family.

great breakfast. super location very central.

Excellent location, very good service; a pleasant place to stay.
Nothing offhand
4.5
Proximity to centre. In old part of town. Lovely and quiet.
Lack of air conditioning, but this was to be expected in such an old building.
2.5
Bed was nice and firm. Hotel is very close to everything you would want to do in the centre of Freiburg.
Nice basement to show the history of the building (not pointed out by staff - we stumbled upon it on our way to the wc)
Lack of air con made our stay very uncomfortable. The fan provided was broken and didn’t rotate.
The pillows were so thin it was almost as if we didn’t have anything under our heads.
Staff were not overly friendly or helpful. The lift was broken on arrival so we were told to carry our cases up two flight of stairs with no help from staff.
Dated rooms with old bathroom.
Breakfast very much average (advertised as fabulous).
Overpriced for the quality but it seems as though that could be Freiburg hotels in general.
4.5
Boutique style hotel with good facilities and centrally located. Excellent breakfast and comfy room. There is parking available a short walk to the hotel.
If I was being harsh the towels could have been bigger !
3.5
The accommodation is nice and clean, and location is very good. However I find this (and all accommodations in Freiburg in general) quite overpriced, maybe due to the high season…
Price vs quality of the services offered. However, as said, this seemed to be a general issue for the accommodations.
4.5
The location and the building was fantastic. Also discounted parking in a nearby parking garage.
The rooms were quite warm in July and only had a small fan to cool it down.
4.5
Small hotel (25 rooms) centrally located close to all main sightseeing attractions. only 3 stops by tram from central station. comfy bed facing the inner courtyard, very quiet, great buffet breakfast with freshly brewed coffee each morning, friendly reception staff (Petra). oldest tavern in Germany, you can see the foundation walls in the wine cellar through a window in the floor.

Location and staff are great
It was terribly hot, our room at the third floor was like a sauna. We indeed were in Freiburg during a crazy heat period.
The WiFi service was weak and unstable
4.5
the location, the setting, the outside restaurant area and we got a better room allocated than originally booked.
some confusion getting a table for dinner
