Older Somewhat What charming place in green area of el calafate away from the maddening crowds. Great breakfast.
Upon check in I asked them to be sure we received a nice room. We got the left overs: room 226 which was not worth $180 a night.
It was very dark and had some run down areas In The bathroom window wooden with paint peeling all around window, shower grout all messed up and peeling off and a small low end shower head. Some fotos are attached. Also the carpeted hallways were filthy with many stains and worn. See the foto. Looked like carpet was decades old. Rooms in The 100s we saw were larger good light and better shape. I am concerned that bookings, Expedia -&: hotels.com customers get the left overs and not great Rooms…sometimes at cost higher than booking directly with the desired hotel. We are often told that is what you get with bookings, expedia etc. It seems the hotels are trying to convince customers to direct book and penalize those who go through 3rd party. It seems a new biz model is needed.

Charming older hotel a bit off the beaten path where the headquarters of an estancia used to be. The staff were helpful, friendly and competent, and spoke English pretty well. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all good.
4.3
The guys on reception were super helpful and friendly. Otherwise it was an ok hotel, room was ok, breakfast was ok, location was ok....a 20 minute walk into town.

since they moved us from Kau Yatun hotel to El Calafate Parque hotel, this is a review for Parque Calafate hotel:
location was good
- bad isolation in the rooms, so everything could be heard - very noisy
- client service
- we got wrong room without possibility to change
- room size
- brekfast was poor
- spa has 2 things out of which one was out of order
30 min limited spa time
- no iron on request
- bathrobes brought 5 min before and taken immediately after as if we will steel them ?!
- general, NO GO!

We loved the free bikes available for use.
Nothing.

it was set aback from the hustle and bustle but close enough we walked into town everyday
it’s a lovely hotel but probably due for an upgrade in regards to the carpet and bathrooms.
4.3
spacious room and excellent breakfast. large sitting area.
The room was next to reception and noisy. the location wasn’t very close to the town center.
4.3
hotel stuff was extremely resourceful and friendly. shoutout to Nicolas from hotel management deserves a raise.
every thing was nice
4.3
Great hotel with very helpful staff. The beautiful garden and the animals walking around make for a nice place to relax and enjoy the sun.
The garden did not have a lot of sitting places.

What a lovely place to stay! Charming hotel with a bright lounge, excellent buffet breakfast and good restaurant for nights you want to eat on site.
The staff were wonderful and made us feel at home. Many thanks to Nicolas for the warm welcome, great suggestions and assistance as well as to Juliette and Mateo who were also lovely and helpful.
Loved our stay and recommend.

We love everything about the hotel. It was very comfortable and pretty.
The location is a little far from downtown in comparison to other hotels, but it is still walkable andt taxis get there fast.
4.3
Comfy Estancia vibes, nice interior
there are too many street dogs around the neighborhood, breakfast is average
4.3
The hotel is beautiful ( it used to be an old farmhouse), the room was big enough and the bed comfortable.
Breakfast could improve (we got a slice of bread with mold!). Location isn’t great because is away from the city center, but taking a taxi was quick and non-expensive (around 2 usd each way)
4.3
nestled in a beautiful garden with a comforting ambiance. welcoming staff, and a great restaurant on premise
needs some renovations, 2 out of 3 electric outlets didn’t work. bathroom doesn’t feel the tidiest.
4.3
Nice spot with trees and patagonian flowers
Very old-fashioned hotel (room and bathroom) with no direct link to the turistic estancia nearby.
4.3
very cute property, comfortable room.
the location. it is nice but it is one of the first hotels in town and before the bridge which means for every tour we were the first to be picked up and had to wait like 30 minutes while they picked up everyone else and its like a 20 minute walk downtown.

The dinner and breakfast were exceptional! Staff very friendly and helpful.
We didn't find the bed that comfortable, eventhough it was nice and very clean.
4.3
nice hotel, big rooms, friendly stuff, 15 min walk from town center, the surrounding js nice
The rooms a bit dated, we had a problem in the bathroom but they fixed it quickly.
4.3
The staff were very nice and servisabiliy and the atmosphire was great.
The shawer was problematic and lots of fludes.
4.3
Staff was welcoming and helpful - great breakfast - is part of a working ranch - so you can participate on the ranch tour for free - also they have a wonderful dinnershow at the ranch and the hotel is offering bikes for free as well - thus staying here gives you a perfekt Patagonien experience …
4.3
The hotel environment, room and staff always friendly and ready to assist you.
At first the internet was poor but after my complain the desk/IT guy quickly solve the problem.
