Ubicación
Teníamos una habitación privada junto a nuestra habitación y había un ruido constante de algún tipo de máquina.

The room was really quiet with AC Included, TV and a really nice bathroom.
The two ladies at the lobby are really friendly and welcoming. Downtown Merida, ideally spotted. Charming hotel.
Room number 8, the shower head is broken, water spills in any directions, the tower rack is badly fixed and may comes out of its fixings. Monitor your web activities (per room).

Really comfortable bed in a quiet room. The hotel is rather eccentrically decorated with lots of art and unusual objects. There is a rooftop bar that was occasionally open. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was good. The hotel is in a really great part of the city, close to the cathedral and lots of shops and restaurants.
Nothing.

Excellent location, a clean hotel. I highly recommend it if you go to Merida. Just one street to arrive to the Amfiteatro and Teatro.

Check in was very good. Details of passport forwarded on the hostel's request meant check in was rapid. Towards the back of the hostel, my room was very quiet and I slept well. The mattress wasn't to my own taste and made me a bit sweaty in contact with it but the air-con was efficient and quiet. The location is excellent for access to the historic sites and bars and restaurants. The secure parking down the road for my motorbike was very good. Overall, the hostel is clean, smart and modern and was exceptionally good value.
The towels were somewhat thin and could do with replacement. This is compared with six other establishments I stayed at on this trip.

Great location, very close to the Roman theatre and several restaurants nearby. The bed was good and it wasn't noisy.
Very basic, which in itself is all right if you're just there for one night for going to the Roman theatre. It has all it needs for a one night stay. However, I've stayed in other very basic hotels in equally or more turistic places, offering more comfort and more pleasant and more comfortable rooms. A much better experience for a better price. If I wouldn't have had a lower rate because of booking early, in April, I would have been really disappointed with what I got for my money.

Friendly staff, excellent location near all the sights, somewhere safe to put my bike. Arrived early, they gave me somewhere to change and looked after my stuff when I went out.
Good cheap coffee machine in foyer.
Nothing.

The bed was comfortable and the room/bathroom was spacious for the price.
Perfect location to visit the Museo and Teatro/anfiteatro.
Trying to reach the hotel by car was a nightmare. The streets are narrow, some have changed direction recently (we were told this afterwards) but Google maps did not know; two streets were blocked for repairs. It took too long to reach the hotel, looping around the old part. The hostel has a car park but when calling for help, the receptionist could not provide an address to aim for it.
Many restaurants were closed (it was Monday) for dinner so we struggled to find something open.
Mixed experienced with the staff, the one in the morning was very helpful, making up for the other one.

Walking distance to railway station and near to most of the sights. Room was functional though a bit smallish.
Wardrobe was not clean.

Excellent value for money, very central, lovely and clean. Staff was very helpful, let me drop my bags at 8 in the morning on the day of the check in, and already moved them to my room when I checked in later.

Excellent location in the centre of Mérida, close to all the main sites (though to be honest, Mérida is so small that most hotels are in the 'centre').
Very happy with every aspect of this hotel.

We loved this Hostal..It was extremely clean and comfortable. The terrace was amazing and so was the outside shower...The staff were awesome. They stored our bicycles safely while we were on our Gijon yo Cadiz cycle...Merida is wonderful and we absolutely love Extremadura ❤️

The room, the bathroom, the whole experience was incredibly great. The WiFi was free, the cable had an English channel, and made recuperating from a bad experience wonderful.
