Location location location and staff
mold on the bathroom ceiling, really small, furniture was very worn and broken, fridge didn’t work, walls were dirty. wifi worked in the breakfast area not in rooms
3.0
1. There is a free beach just in front.
2. The location is just 10 mins walk away from the station or the ferry service.
3. The B&B is really set up cozy and nice, and the staff are very friendly.
1. The room was advertised as beach view, but the window just opened to a parking in front of the free beach which was always filled with cars. Maybe the first floor room would have some view, but on the ground floor we had to keep the window always closed due to privacy issue and the parking lot.
2. The bathroom facilities were really not in the best shape. The showers were a struggle. No soap dispenser, or holder for tissue paper.
3. Marco is a very nice host but does not speak/understand any English. Even the other staff hardly speak any English. So, if your Italian skills are non-existent you will have problems communicating.
4. Breakfast is good but exactly the same every day.

Its on the beach, with all its litter
Parking is almost non existent, if you can park you may not be able to leave for hours as people double park and go to the beach, space reserved for guests were used by people at the beach, it was a cluster of many fudges. We had people open the door to our room as we were unpacking and bring things in. Next morning kids were pressed against the door and we could see their faces as plan as day, left a day early that we paid for.

10 minute walk to both the train station and the ferry docks.
What a horrible experience. I arrived in the evening after a long day of catching trains and I was exhausted. I checked in and I was brought to my room - the horror! The walls were dirty, there were long strands of hair on the bed sheets, mould on the ceiling, a dirty sink, dusty floors and shelves, and a damp smell - I felt sick.
I wasn’t happy so I spoke with the receptionist/manager. He said he couldn’t do anything, but it was up to me to contact the owner via Whatsapp - how embarrassing for them. I sent photos and messages to the owner, but I didn’t get a reply. I even tried calling him, but no answer. I’ve stayed in cleaner hostels in rural Asia than this pig sty. In the end there was nothing the receptionist could do, so I had to sleep in that dirty room. It was sickening.
The next day after I had been out all day sightseeing, I returned to be told that my room had been changed with all my belongings having already been moved over - I was thankful. The room was much cleaner and newer, though the shower was still disgusti to use. There was mould on the ceiling, a build up of some substance on the shower head, with rust all over. A definite upgrade to the last room, but still gross.
If you value your health and don’t want to be scammed, please don’t book here. This place is a total sham and waste of money

Wifi not available in the room
Difficult to manage luggage

nice lady at reception during the day
location
the small and dark room was located practially in the basement and the tiny window overlooked a busy and noisy road. People were looking at our windows and us
the watchman was rude and entered our room without asking or knocking when our friend came to visit us for 10 minutes. Without privacy, we felt constantly watched and followed by him
The bathroom was dirty, the plaster was falling off, there was no TV
terrible humidity and stench in the room

The staff is amazing!!!
2.5
Location, beside the beach.
Room cleaned daily.
Lovely breakfast and coffee.
Strong smell of fungi and tobacco in the bathroom.
The car parking is just beside the window, it can be noisy during the night and early in the morning. It also obstructs the sea view.
2.0
parking and close to port and train station
needs renovations especially showers. old doors and fixtures.

The location was great. The staff were friendly, courteous and helpful in many ways. The breakfast was fine.

It is the best hotel in Salerno. Nearby the sea, perfect location to the train station and bus station and ferry station by walking 5 min for all of them. Good price and breakfast included. Big thanks to the receptionist Antonio , he helped for every single thing.:))

Walking distance from centre
Very noisy. Asked for savioury breakfast, denied. Asked for an aperitivo (they had a bar) denied.
At midnight woken by a group of people letting off fireworks outside our window and kept up till 2am.
Changed first room because it smelled strongly of damp.

this place is severely underrated. RIGHT on the beach where you can hear the waves as you sleep. it’s a 8 min walk to the train station and about 20 mins into city center. the host was super lovely and the room was wonderful! the bathroom was clean and the bed was comfy. the breakfast was excellent!
the shower had some fly away sprayers that got the bathroom wet. I’m literally picking at straws.
4.0
Directly on the beach, and not so far from the railway station. Somewhat noisy because there is a trafficked road above the hotel, but, being being below the street level, and practically on the beach, that's a minor problem.
The room was partially refurbished. It has new floor with nice local ceramic, but many pieces of furniture were definitely old. Also the bathroom was refurbished but not completely, so it presents several issues.
4.5
location perfect right on the beach free parking friendly nice breakfast
our toilet was not easy to use very small and cramped

3.0
Absolutely agree that Marco and the staff are super friendly and communicative. The big plus is free parking and the beach just in front of the room (which is not clean unfortunately ). Good fish restaurant just 1 min by walk
-small room which required a reconstruction
-watering can in the bathroom did not work properly
-poor breakfast which is the same everyday: coffee, piece of cake+ cookie, pieces of melon and jogurt ( so I would not count with the breakfast really)
-unfortunately its bellow the expectation
2.5
location
we were meant to have a triple room with sea view but we were given a double room with no view. the bathroom was unsafe

Beach, unit was fine, staff, close to tow.
3.5
Nice and supportive staff. Clean and tidy. Very nice terraces.
My room was located in the basement with view into the building - that‘s why blinds were shut, which did not give the best experience in quite a small room. Windows would definitely have helped for a more comfortable feeling. Overall the location could use a little renovation in a few spots. Breakfast was basic but ok.
Overall, the hosts

great location and value for money.
no WiFi in the room unfo.
