Located at one end of the island, made it harder to get around. on positive note bus stop at entrance to hotel.

Absolutely fantastic views that you will never forget. Hanging gardens are incredibly beautiful.

The view was the most fantastic panorama you could imagine. The hanging gardens with a lot of bronze statues, flora and four thermal pools with great massage features were over the top. The staff was Uber fantastic too and will arrange everything for you. Poseidon is only two minutes away by foot.

The only thing was a loud hammering from the workers in the room next door during the day.

Very well kept facilities, 4 thermal pools, nice service, close vicinity to Poseidon thermal Spa and several restaurants, very friendly and responsive staff.

only one thing - very low hot water flow in the shower.

Very sweet stay! Left feeling relaxed and blissed. recommend staying 3-4 nights minimum :)

the thermal pools! the garden was beautiful! the breakfast was plentiful and fresh- lots of variety. the staff was nice, friendly and accommodating. We would recommend and stay again :)

Wi-Fi signal was very weak, but we were there for relaxing retreat- so no problem.

Very good

The great location is right beside the beach and close to many restaurants and services. Very nice pools and clean rooms. Amazing and helpful staff.

1- Breakfast is average at best. And no vegan options. 2- I invited my friend to use the hotel spa services (wax and pedicure), which she paid for. And I had told her that she can come get her wax and do her nails and use the pool after while she waits for me as I was getting a massage too. I had informed the reception staff that she was my guest but when she asked them about the pool they told her she has to pay around €22 to use the pools. I find this to be totally unacceptable, as a single person I pay for the room the same exact price as a couple with a kid would pay, yet they're three heads who will use the pools. But my guest has to pay extra to use the pool just because i didn't register her when I was making the booking? That annoyed me a lot and we ended up going somewhere else since I wasn't able to enjoy the pools without my friend.

A very relaxing and special holiday at this hotel. Stunningly beautiful location with lovely garden

Loved the breakfast especially the homebaked cakes.Great coffee too. Beautiful kind and caring staff. Great aperitivi. Loved the thermal pool. A really special ambience to this hotel.An incredibly friendly place.

Some nice toiletries in the room eg body lotion and proper shampoo and conditioner would have been appreciated. A shuttle bus back from Forio town in the evening round 10-11pm would have been a great help.We ended up on a bus high above on the cliffs and had to walk down the hill.

Very good

Hotel Semiramis has an exceptional outside garden area with beautiful separated pools and terraces and it's very well maintained. The rooms are tidy, spacious and clean. Staff is very friendly and always in good spirits. The walk to the beach is less than 5 minutes and the hotel offers you free umbrellas (which you will need in the summer). Plenty of good restaurants in walking distance as well. The breakfast is excellent.

As much as all of the staff interacts with heartwarming smiles and happiness, the manager can be very bored at times. You have to wear bathing caps in the pools, which you'll have to purchase if you don't have one. If you bring kids, be aware that there's very few pools that they can use.

Loved staying here, a really special place. Staff couldn't be more helpful, gardens are just gorgeous, great to have all the pool options and be right next to Giardini Poseidon too. Breakfast great. Room comfy and beautiful balcony view. My husband loved the traditional vitri tiles everywhere!

Exceptional

Everything was perfect. Nothing to say more. This is the quality of 5 star hotels. Everything you need is provided by facility, many pools on the territory of the hotel. Breakfast totally the one you will need if you are from North Europe. I would advice this place to everyone.

There is nothing to say. Everything is perfect, even the price. Only thing is if you are going to go out the hotel in the evening be sure to remember where the entrance is, because you re going to drink wine somewhere in restaurant and it would be a little bit hard to find the right turn :))))

It was okay - its basic hotel but I will not book it again

The staff was very nice and polite, the breakfast was okay.

The hotel is really dated, for the price we paid we could have had a better hotel. First time we booked a standard room which was away from the main area and near a car park - more over it was really warm as it only has a concrete slab for a roof and that heats up. Then we asked for a change for which we paif EUR 45 extra t o move to a classic room.

Good

Staff was great. 4 different thermal pools and loads of sunbeds around. Very quiet. Nice garden area around the pools. Close to the beach. Prices in the bar were good.

Its a step back to the 70's. Beds are uncomfortable (a 50 EUR matress topper would have made a big difference- why is sleep quality not more importan to the hotel?), shower curtains are never a nice factor and our room was at the car park. You have to rent towels for the sun beds which is very "pinchy" and an unnessesary factor for the guests. The aircon is turned off during the day (pinchy as well).

The sweetest hotel in Citara

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Semiramis! The staff is excellent and on point; the location is optimal for beaches and restaurants; and the resort is gorgeous, especially the pools and seaside views. An excellent spot for a relaxing vacation, plus the bus around the island stops right in front of the hotel.

Spotty Wifi, but if you’re on vacation, maybe it’s not such a bad thing. :) Also, not hotel-specific, but there aren’t any ATMs or Bancomats anywhere in Citara; you have to go to Forio for cash.

Superb

The hotel is set in a stunning location and has beautiful landscaped gardens and spa pools. The staff were very helpful and breakfast service was great. Really nice choice of food and the dining room was open to terrace overlooking the natural spring pool. There are some lovely restaurants and cafes a few minutes walk away on the beach and of course you get the most stunning sunsets and thunder storms from this side of the island!! We had spacious ground floor room opening onto terrace and sea views.

Overpriced, but friendly staff.

The staff is 10/10, staff from the reception where helpfull, the staff that serve the breakfast are also nice. Its just that theire boss is greedy and need to maintain the rooms. Otherwise the roomrates should be much lower.

The roomrates are to high, for this amount the room should be well maintained. Everything is old, plastic thats colorized to yellow is 10/15+ years old. The bathroom is old, showercurtain for this roomrate is not acceptable. The headboard of the bed and cover of the lambs where stained. No 24/7 airco and you need to where a hairmask in the pool.
