Skiwelt Geilo

Sehr schön oberhalb Geilo gelegen. Die Räumlichkeiten sehr gemütlich mit viel Holz. Gute Infos vom Haus und problemloser Check-in. Parkmöglichkeit unterhalb der Arpartments im Berg.

Das nächste Restaurant erst in Geilo.

Parfait pour une étape en été ou un séjour en hiver

Appartement en duplex avec belle vue sur la vallée Cuisine très bien équipée. La cheminée et le sauna doivent être appréciés en hiver. Nombreux rangements Accès direct au parking couvert Salle de sport bien équipée et petite piscine. Personnel à l’accueil très sympathique et attentif.

Mic dejun nu este la locație. Locația este superba și merita explorata în sensul ca sunt multe trasee montane cu peisaje mirifice.

Ar fi ca recomandare sa se acorde o mai mare atenție in parcarea autocarelor care se face chiar sub ferestrele camerelor acestea își pornesc motoarele pe care le tin pornite perioade mari de timp fiind foarte deranjant. Deasemenea este recomandat sa sa se acorde o mai mare atenție de către personalul locatiei în a-i avertiza pe cei cazați ca prin zgomotul pe care îl fac în permanenta, mai ales noaptea, pot deranja celelalte persoane cazate.

The sauna and gym and pool were very good.

Not a lot. We stayed one night in June while traveling. The place was like a ghost town and the chalet was very basic.

Chalet very basic. Beds, duvets and pullows were a bit manky. Sheets clean.

Great stay right beside the lifts to go skiing

This was one of my favorite stays when travelling in Norway. Even though it was off-season we were able to enjoy ourselves a lot. Our villa was very comfortable and complete, it had everything you need. I would certainly be back for ski season in the future.

Maybe I would just suggest having the option to go to the pool later at night because they close it around 5-6pm so you're not able to enjoy it afterwards. Also it would be nice if they also included at least 2 pillows per person.

Hidden extra charge for use of bed linen.

The apartment was very nice and clean. The fireplace made it cosy and the apartment had its own private sauna. Well equipped kitchen. Beds were reasonably comfortable.

We were charged extra for using the supplied bed linen. This was not informed about beforehand. In a resort style accomodation like this you would expect bed linen to be included in the price. Considering this we did not find it to be of good value.

Great rooms, small hiccup.

Very comfortable, amenities were great, everything you'd need is 10-15 min drive if not available at the room itself.

Directions to the hotel entrance and the room were not clear, I arrived late after reception had already left, I picked up the key smoothly, but couldnt understand how to reach to the room. Access to the rooms is from the parking lot, through unlabeled stairs which should take you to your room area. Once you understand that, everything else is very smooth. The bed rooms are in the attic where the ceiling is sloped low, that was unusual for me.

lovely family stay in the mountains!

The apartments are lovely and well located, you can easily ski in and out. The pool are is lovely and perfect for the children after a days skiing. You can order fresh pastries and collect from reception in the morning max which was delicious!

there wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property, but be aware there aren’t any shops in walking distance so make sure you have everything you need. the local supermarkets are great and are a 5 min drive away.

Great views and close to the ski slopes

A great location close to the ski slopes. A nice and modern appartement with everything you need. Very helpful staff, we had a bit of car trouble and they really help us out.

We had a two floor appartement and on the upper floor the doors where a bit low and I bummed my head a couple of times (I am 1.95m).

Brilliant Christmas and New Year 2022

Ski in, ski out location. Excellent and very responsive staff - particularly Jan the handyman - even at the busiest time of the season. Underground car park. Standard of cooking equipment and crockery was excellent. Having access to a sauna and steamroom was also nice.

To accommodate 2 adults each, the two top floor, eaves bedrooms of the standard 8 bed apartment were both too small for comfort. Getting in and out bed was a challenge. Also, although the apartment overall was excellently appointed and clean, in a well run complex, as others have noted, the actual furniture and beds, although comfortable and fully functional, were well used and a bit worn now.

Wonderful Stay

Was there in Dec for a week. Accommodation is next to ski slopes and cross country ski tracks. Ski in /out from apartment. Car park is inside and warm. It’s about a 10 min ride to Geilo where you have several supermarkets and stores. Staff at reception are very friendly and helpful. A place to return on future visits to Geilo.

Perfect for Hiking and Relaxing

Nice Appartment with three bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Sauna, Pool were very relaxing after hiking tour. Geilo is a really nice location.

Great stay for reasonable money

The host was more than welcoming and helped me solve any issues and questions. The apartment had a great view of the mountains, as it was on the upper floor. The apartment was very clean and kitchen had everything we needed. Just make sure you have paper towels/pepper/etc because it is uncommon to provide such things in Norway. Bed linens are not included in the price too, but it is possible either to rent or bring your own. The living room has a fireplace. Pool was always occupied with children but sauna was never full. Plenty of hiking options around, 10 mins by car to the town center.

Would be nice to have more chairs/sofa next to the sauna for relaxing and also hooks for the towels both in the apartment's bathroom and next to the sauna in the common space.

It was a pleasant walk to urundberget. The sceneries were breathtaking. The plus was the presence of snow. I'll be curious to experiment this place during the winter
