location! as you drive towards the location and seeing the beach come into view - it is breathtaking, if the weather was nicer i would of love to do a morning stroll
didnt realise there was no microwave at the bungalow, no telephone to call reception. Regarding the free wifi - there was no note or clear indication there was wifi, only stumble upon in as I was planning to hotspot. It was raining and I could not find an umbrella i could use to get me to the main building.
4.0 / 5.0
The rooms were spacious, clean & very comfortable. The room was so much better than I was expecting.
The check-in experience & service was ordinary. The directions to our room with the car were poor.
Also, the WI-FI was terrible in our room.
One car space for such a big townhouse is limiting.
2.0 / 5.0
The beach was great and the coffee shop up the road was good
Mold on walls
electrical appliance not tested and tagged
kitchen tap leaked
dirty dishes in dish washer
lights broken
electrical points unsafe
no dishwashing detergent
The only access door was nearly impossible to open and close and at the end our daughter could not open. If there was a reason to evacuate this put my whole family at risk.
windows broken and would not close allowing rain to blow into the town house
fire place did not operate
some of the blinds/shutters did not work
loud music up to 70DB late at night from the main bar area this happened on 2 nights of our stay
$270 for dinner of a family of 5 and only pub standard of meal not worth the money

Location Location Location
A bit noisy from the hotel and not private enough (other guests and hotel patrons right on your doorstep (I was in bungalow 1 and if I stayed again would ask for a room further away)
3.0 / 5.0
Beach access easy...
Checkout and checkin need to be better. WiFi / Mobile 4G / 5G needs improvement

Beautiful room in a gorgeous location
4.0 / 5.0
Location was good, courtesy bus great.
Room named ocean villa, not really on the ocean or have much of a view unless you are standing up on the balcony. Balcony furniture was disappointing
2.5 / 5.0
The bed was comfortable, the room waa clean
The screen door had no latch and continued to slide and bang and rattle in the wind overnight. The facilities and grounds need a great deal of maintenance
2.5 / 5.0
It was a very attractive and clean room. Well designed with lovely decor.
There were some cockroaches with no insect spray provided. There was no breakfast available in the complex and we had to go to a local cafe in torrential rain. It was a very long walk from the car park to the room with no one to help with the bags or was a trolley available. The newspapers that were supposed to be in the reception area each morning were not there as advertised. Expected more for $294 a night.

Great location right on the beach, pool facilities were great and friendly staff.
Rooms could have been a little bit tidier but that is nit-picking

Location
Unit 12 was infested with baby cockroaches (in kitchen cupboards, crockery and across carpets), dirty linen, blinds that didn't work, dirty/stained carpet and inadequate WiFi.
4.5 / 5.0
Beautiful view, good rooms and facilities.
Cockroaches in kitchen cupboards.
5.0 / 5.0
having the restaurant close to the accommodation
4.5 / 5.0
All the facilities were of a high standard. The locality was very convenient, close to cafes and IGA store. The beaches were a short walk away, the pool inviting, the Caves hotel had good meals and a great location.
The garden view really was not a view. The view was of the back wall of another villa with a small patch of grass and a small in unattractive garden.
3.0 / 5.0
Bathtub was a good size
Massive shower with 2 heads
50m to the beach
Espresso Martinis on tap at the bar
Overall best thing about this place is close proximity to the beach and the shower
No privacy in bungalow #1 - they need to add screens to outside to hang out in pergola area
There is no door to the toilet. You're literally out in the open
Ability to open/close plantation shutters (rod in cupboard would even be helpful) - the light hits straight into the room
Reception and internet were horrendous.
Cafe:
Best bet is to order your entrees first, wait a bit, then when ready, order your main. If not, all will come out together and will most likely be cold.
We gave it a go over 2 nights (non-consecutive).
First night we ordered fish tacos, burger and chips and calamari. All were cold except calamari which was warm. Took back the tacos and 1 minute later the waitress hands me a new plate and says they're fresh.. they weren't.
Second night: 1 pizza, oysters, wings and a salad. Pizza was pretty warm, wings were not.
All meals honestly would have been delicious if served at a better temperature (except the oysters).

I liked the facilities and the views
the bed sheets didn’t fit the bed properly so the sheets kept coming off and you ended up sleeping on the mattress with no protector on it so the stains etc on the mattress were revealed the sheets came off every time you turned, need to have bigger sheet for the bottom at least one that could tuck in.
