Such a perfect location! Close to absolutely everything, just a short two minute walk to the town centre or a 10 minute walk to the Port of Airlie where all of the boat tours depart from. Didn’t need to catch any transport while we were there! The studios were quaint and cozy.
Could have used cosier blankets and pillows on the bed - homeware was pretty basic and bed wasn’t too comfy but did the job!

We had a great room, very private. Janine at reception was wonderful, nothing was too much of a problem, even before we arrived. She booked the connecting transport for us and changed it when our flights were delayed. The unit was clean and well fitted out. The supermarket was just over the road, which was great.

Great location and walking distance to restaurants and cafes.
Room was spotless and had everything required for a great holiday.
Staff super friendly and extremely helpful.
The only negative was the bed was wobbly and it creaked whenever one of us turned over.

The location and nice housekeepers
the windows did not make me feel safe from theft or harm, some of the windows did not have curtains

location: was directly in the heart of airlie beach. Only a few minutes walk to the main street with lots of cafés. Supermarket 3 minutes away.
check in and check out: easy going, luggage room to store luggage on departing day.
towels and additional blankets available
cleaniness: you can see that the apartment was not renovated in the last few years. there were stains on the bed matresses. The bathroom had mold in the shower. Had lots of cockroatches as visitors in bedrooms and living area.
The oven/stove need a long time to heat up, so you have to calculate more time than normal to cook yourself.
One bedroom (of 7 bed apartment) does not have a door and is located directly behind the kitchen - so the person sleeping there should be an early bird or a person with a deep sleep.

Beautiful views, very spacious apartment & close to town
The steep walk back up the hill to get back to the room

Very confy an convenient . Everything was clean and all my needs were met
The light in the bathroom was very dull. Virtually showering in the dark .

Location was perfect. Easy walking distance to everything. Pool was very clean, but you can't lie on sun lounges because you could hurt yourself (slats were missing).
Very old and poorly maintained. Could not open all kitchen drawers, knobs were missing, shower head in shower spurt water everywhere, had to wrap a facewasher around it to stop flooding bathroom, opened up bathroom vanity and shelf fell out. Power points were dangerously just hanging from walls... the list goes on. I did read negative reviews from 12 months ago, they were not good, but thought I would give the new owners a chance, as they explained they were getting through the renovations, but obviously the unit we stayed in had not been looked at.

Great location and perfect for one person
A little tired in places

Great proximity to the Main Street of Airlie Beach
We were in a disability unit by the looks of the set up. Shower only had a curtain around it which didn’t do much to prevent the entire bathroom flooding from it.

Nothing - told us change of date due to Cyclone Gabrielle was OK and they would sign it in. No room for us when we got there but took our $990. We now taking legal action to recover. Had to find other accommodation. Will warn anybody else going to stay there.
No one to meet us, no accommodation, booking given to someone else. We had been travelling for nearly 24 hours and then found out they were so bad as no one to meet us, no accommodation available but took phone call to find that out. Then had to search town to find more accommodation. Will definitely put the word around but want our paid $990 back as they told us that the change of date by Air NZ was OK due to cyclone Gabrielle and would go from 12th to 17th February and SHE would sign it in. Didnt so think it got forgotten by HER and we left without accommodation. Not a good look.

cleanliness

very good position, need of update and good clean above eye level
no natural light in the back rooms

Close to town, that was the only positive
How much can I write? Filthy, mould EVERYWHERE!! Windows broken, no blankets, liquid dripping from ceilings, blinds missing, dirty smelly linen bags piled under my bedroom windows. Wardrobes broken, fans only worked on high speed otherwise they'd wobble and make noises. Toilet roll holder was a dirty bathroom cabinet drawer. There was gross substances on the walls, who knows what it was but it was disgusting

It was in a great spot.
