Excellent location - very peaceful. One needs a car however as it is deep in the country/hills. The pool was big enough for our family; there was wine and sweets waiting for us when we arrived; and Maria our host brought us tomatoes and cucumber (from her garden)! All communications was very easy as the hosts live nearby and answer within half hour. There is a lovely table on the patio outside for our meals. And the pool - again - was magnificent. Very private. And with views out to the sea towards Rethymno. The house was also beautifully decorated and had everything one needed (like cooking utensils etc).
Nothing - everything was perfect.

Wifi bit hit and miss.
Car is essential, very steep hills on lead up to the villa.

The pool was amazing, the views are gorgeous, the privacy, good kitchen facilities
The wifi signal was weak in most of the villa, the villa we stayed in had a very high step in it, not suitable for elderly people with bad knees...
The cricket sound during the day is extremely loud.

Excellent choice, we were really happy to have chosen this accomodation. The, very clean, house, as all other of the four houses, had ample, well kept garden, terraces spaces - very private, relaxed - a gorgous pool and phantastic views on hills towards Chania, the white mountains in the back, as well as sea views. We caught ourselves just staying at the house, instead of exploring the island, on some days at least...
Maria, the owner, was very nice and helpful with tips on what to do, where to eat etc. Thanks again!

A lovely complex of 4 villas up in the hills above Vrysses.
Very well appointed 2 bedroom Villa with everything you could wish for (down to charcoal provided for the BBQ), comfortable beds, beautiful pool, amazing views, resident cat (but who stayed outside) and very attentive service from the owners. The fridge developed a leak on day 1 and by the next day a new fridge had been bought and put in. Although, due to a booking glitch, they were only expecting 2 of us and 4 of us came, nothing was a problem and everything went smoothly.
The hot water system was a little archaic meaning it needed switching on half an hour before we showered. The Wi-fi was not really strong enough for all 4 of us to use or our twins to download things.
Manoeuvring in and out of the complex is tricky as the road is narrow and windy and there is an ornamental roundabout to navigate - not for nervous drivers or big cars!

Pool area was very nice. Villa / apartment was simple and clean.
1 of the 2 air conditioning units was broken on arrival, this covered the main living space and one of the bedrooms which did not have it's own unit. Reported first thing the following morning ( Sun ) but wasn't repaired until Wed. Some noise / music from adjoining properties at times.

Our hosts were responsive, kind and friendly. The accommodation was comfortable and extremely well thought out. The outside areas, including the pool, and the views were simply beautiful.
Nothing. It was all fantastic.
