Easy access to rooms, parking, reception and town.
Staff were helpful.
Innerspring beds were not good for my back.
Soundproofing in rooms was not good as person in room next door had a constant cough that affected my stay.

Lovely property and great staff. The staff bent over backwards and couldn’t be anymore helpful.
The only complaint I have is the bed was quite uncomfortable.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was comfortable and clean, any need or question was addressed promptly. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The pillows were not comfortable, they were hard and flat.
There was no hot water for a shower in the morning.

lovely room overlooking the pool.
it was very quiet and under staffed. it felt like it hadn’t fully recovered from the Covid pandemic.
it needs an influx of visitors and a lick of paint to bring it back to life.

The room was lovely and spacious with plenty of room to store baggage, hang clothes, store shoes and put things away in drawers. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a tea towel to wipe up (although a small bottle of detergent and a little wash washing up brush would have been handy too). The bathroom was clean and well provisioned with shampoo, soap, shower cap, face washers (including one specifically for make up removal which was terrific!) and the towels were a decent size and quality - when an extra was required for drying wet hair it was no problem either. We loved the fact that the hot water was instantly hot and we didn't have to run the water while it warmed, plus the water pressure in the well-sized shower was excellent! The bed and pillows were comfortable and there was a nice big blanket in the wardrobe which was sufficient for the minimal chill at night. There were two comfortable chairs to watch the television which had a reasonable number of free-to-air channels and there were also DVD's which could be borrowed from out near Reception. The staff were all very friendly and helpful with special mention to Tahnie and Karina on Reception, Sam and the lady in the restaurant on our first night (whose name I sadly didn't get) who were all wonderful. Dinner in the Restaurant was very good too.
Very small things: the food in the restaurant was served extremely quickly with one course on top of the next and some might say the bathroom could do with an update but it served very well and we like showers with doors! So if Paradise Hotel and Resort does a renovation, please make sure you don't put in those silly showers that are open on one side and end up flooding the bathroom!!

The staff were beyond amazing & so helpful. From the minute we arrived to when we left all of the staff were super friendly & nothing was an issue for them. The resort arranged our airport transfer & hire car. Our room was clean & was serviced daily with fresh linen, tea/coffee etc
We only ate the the resort for 1 dinner & the food exceeded our expectations - we would've eaten there more however as it was our first trip to the island we wanted to try as many places as possible during our stay.
Laundry facilities were great & washing powder supplied free which was a nice surprise.
Our actual room wasn't anything like what we had booked. We booked a Superior Room & the advertised photos were nothing like what we stayed in. We had a tiny bathroom with shower curtain, lino not carpet, no heating or desk. After speaking to some locals it appears some rooms have been renovated however ours was clearly an older room.

I had a chicken soup in the restaurant for lunch and suffered from food poisoning as a result.

Location was very convenient, I was able to walk into Burnt Pine and drive easily down to Kingston and indeed all over the island. The staff were friendly, responsive and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.

Comfortable rooms that looked like they had been recently renovated. Older style accommodation (which is typical for Norfolk Island) but contemporary updates and very clean and fresh. Very comfy bed. Was handy having a microwave in the room. The staff were fantastic and we often saw them go above and beyond for other guests. We really liked the location. It was a flat walk into Burnt Pine village that takes about 20-30mins and a footpath all the way. Next door was the recommended Hilli restaurant and opposite is Governor's Lodge with a variety of dining options. In the resort itself there's a bar and restaurant and the meals we had onsite were good, simple and delicious food. Would we stay here again? Yes.
Limited general restaurant hours, particularly when they were hosting other events, but this could have been more due to covid limitations at the time than hotel policy.

Breakfast was tasty and staff were friendly and helpful.
Coffee was instant coffee. Fruit options were tinned.

Breakfast was average
Being a hotel, we expected to b able to have lunch or dinner at the hotel if it suited us. We could only have breakfast provided at the hotel, perhaps because an opera group staying at the hotel had evening events at the facility.

Staff met me with a welcome drink and took me to my room. It was clean, cosy and hibiscus flowers completed the picture.
Love the accomodation and will stay there again. Sandy, Lolly and Christine - all staff were lovely and friendly , and provided me with a courtesy bus even on short notice.
Can't think of anything.

Great location, free parking, large rooms. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I didn’t eat at the hotel, but the restaurant and bar looked nice anyway.
Rooms aren’t air conditioned, which during the humidity can be a bit much, but not a deal breaker for me.

The Paradise Hotel and Resort was a wonderful holiday venue. The staff were friendly and went over and above to respond to our requests. The rooms were large and very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast had a great selection of continental choices and the cooked breakfast, for a little extra was excellent. The restaurant in the evening cooked the fish we had caught that day to perfection. The pool and barbecue area was a great place to relax after a day out sightseeing. Altogether a very memorable experience. Thankyou
