This booking was so seamless I wish others were the same.

Very clean and well appointed. The room was ready with minimal notice as I was travelling and not pre-booked long in advance depending how the driving for the day went. Excellent welcome information sent from the owners. So easy to deal with if arriving late and leaving early during travel. A few min drive to maccas and servo as well.

Not the properties fault at all but if you drive a Nissan Patrol the carport roof didn’t allow full boot door extension on mine driving in forward and a bit narrow backing in next to the stairway. This wont affect all rooms though. I was in room 4.

Spent 3 nights in Bowen which was enough to see/do attractions in the area.

Quiet location & rooms a good size

Bathroom a little small but manageable

Great little holiday apartment, couple of kms from Bowen.

Full size fridge, great little holiday apartment. Love the PIN code entry.

Did not see any staff. Very noise people upstairs,

Glad we got the best unit but would stay somewhere else next time.

Very quiet, no one else stayed there so we were alone. Close to beach and park for Sunday markets. Garden was small but well looked after.

The unit was built like a dolls house - minute! We would have had a BBQ but the grill was filthy from previous guests I presume. Never saw an owner or manager. Pool was basically a glorified bathtub but clean.

Good location, very clean, nicely decorated apartment, good wifi, TV facilities, full cooking facilities and laundry, parking right outside.

no aircon in lounge/kitchen/diner but staff had put fans on in the lounge/kitchen/diner and aircon in bedroom before our arrival which was much appreciated.

The location was great and the pool.

The lack of driveway into the property. Not fun driving up the gutter in a lowset sedan.

Brief

The last 3 times we stayed we were very satisfied and had a 2 roomed apartment . This time it was a demountable as found in Caravan Parks . No undercover parking space between bed and wall ridiculous . Yet we paid the same rate as 2 roomed apartment with separate living area .

Great Place to Stay

Was just an overnight stop on the way from Cairns to Rockhampton but it was a lovely little apartment. Quiet location with comfy beds and good facilities. The staff were very accommodating when our arrival was delayed due to so many roadworks on the Bruce Highway, contactless check in made things very easy. Would certainly recommend for an extended stay in the Bowen area.

Not really anything to dislike!
