Room was okay
No cutlery, not even small spoon for the coffee
No bowls for muesli
Elevator was barely working
Pool was not available at all

Prime location on the beach and the pool looked great.
Breakfast buffet was poor and there wasn’t a lot of variety.
Room was small and uncomfortable.
Swimming pools were half full, not sure if this is due to covid, or cost saving.
Lots of xenophobia against foreigners. We were asked to measure our temperatures every morning before entering the restaurant for breakfast, other tourists weren’t asked to do this.

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The hotel has a lovely ⛱ beach that's easily accessible. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The only thing that was terrible was the breakfast. They needed to have more western selection. The Chinese food was pretty much the same everyday.

The hotel is in a great location, you can walk to many shops and restaurants. The beach is immediately downstairs, though the umbrellas and chairs are taken early. The pool was a bit cold, but great for kids. They even had a foam party in the pool, so that was nice. The breakfast wasn't anything special and the coffee machine didn't work. It was difficult getting a seat, but we aren't too fussy about the food, so it was still alright.
I felt like immediately walking in that the hotel was full of sales. In the front lobby there is one desk selling timeshares or houses and another to rent boats and do some water activities, but they are quiet overpriced. They also said we could have photos taken and try the water sports but when you actually contact the person to take the photos she just replied that the times were booked and that was that, so seems pointless. You can definitely feel that the hotel is small, and there are people everywhere, seems crowded wherever you go.

Nothing

The restaurant for foreigners is very bad, it doesn't have international food.
5.0 / 10.0
The staff was very kind at all times, I liked the availability of pool, beach towels, and recreational activities promoted by the hotel staff they were really kind
Total lack of maintenance for the carpets (halls and elevators), some strange smells coming out of them. The breakfast is simple but nice, as per lunch/dinner don’t expect the same as the high standard hotels nearby. The room was ok with a nice view

The staff were for the most part helpful, there were times where we were refused help or just straight out told ‘meiyou’ or ‘no’. And they were unwilling to accommodate our dietary requirements. ( we just wanted the chef to prepare us vegetables as my wife is a vegan.) A true 5 star resort will do all they can to accommodate guests. (Within reason obviously.)
Our room stank of mold, which is due to the rotting bathroom door. The room was not very clean and the bathroom looked something like a dilapidated public toilet.

The beach and sea views are incredible. But they only allow you to stay in one section of the beach so that is irritating. Breakfast was good.
Not hotel clean. The rooms were NOT spotless when we arrived and the daily housekeeping was lacking. I expect more from a place charging 1000 RMB a night. Also the photos of the beach activities like kayaks are misleading. All of that is at a pricey cost. You can’t even get a pool float for free.

Location
Everything else. This is not a 5 star hotel. Rooms are dirty, mouldy walls, holes in the bedsheets. All the facilities are old. People are smoking and spitting on the corridors, everything smells like smoke, employees do absolutely nothing to prevent this. During the breakfast people are also smoking, spitting on the floor and the employees do absolutely nothing about it. Breakfast is terrible. None of the employees, including at the reception, are able to hold even the simplest conversation in English.

Just Beach front
No any Resturant around , a bit dirty , poor menu, so crowded by Chinese, no anyone with English
2.0 / 10.0
The beach has a little surf action making it good for body boarding, albeit it is not vast enough to do so.
The linens were clean and fresh.
The housekeeping staff was obsessed with communicating: with guests, with eachother, on the phone. The small hallways were trafficked excessively by imposing and frugal soccer mom types with kids blocking exits and housekeeping opening and closing doors using doorbells. This was all happening during resting times.

We were given a lovely room with a view of the sea. We had a great stay. Thanks

Location is great. The lobby bar staff are super nice and friendly. Views from sea view room are gorgeous to wake up to.
The beach is somewhat dirty. I understand that some of this rubbish may come in with the tide but I’ve also seen guests leaving rubbish behind after them.
Perhaps signs asking people to clean up after themselves would be a good idea. And also have a staff member clean it in the morning, afternoon and evening. It’s not good to see such a beautiful beach and beautiful water be destroyed by rubbish.

If you expect to get the good holidays especially with your kids its a great destination
Being there for more than 5 days would make me bored unless u rent a scooter what i did. The staff is very nice, breakfast is standard buffet and the lobby bar is just ok. The scenery around is amazing and the beach is clean.
Lack of good restaurants around. Sea shore is quite short because of the military contractions. There were a lot of water scooters and jets around which sometimes just annoyed by its noise and polluting smell.

Direct access to beach with wonderful swimming area. However, don't expect long walks on the beach as there is a military zone next door to the hotel.
Beautiful view from the balcony.
Cleaning staff were always super friendly and polite.
20 minute walk to nearest restaurants and supermarkets.
Small convenience store in the hotel was extremely expensive (about 2 times the price of products anywhere else).
On-site restaurant was not great and breakfast buffet had very slow turn around of tables which made seating difficult every morning.
Nowhere to get refreshments near the pool or the beach area.
Only 1 non smoking floor and areas around the pool and outdoor section of the restaurant are not considered non smoking areas.

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were very comfortable and clean and the location was great. It had a beautiful beach and if you enjoy swimming in the surf, you’ll love it.
It would have been nice to have some chairs on our patio. The adult pool with swim up bar was drained which was a big disappointment. We were forced to swim with the kids in the shallow pool which was very warm. The breakfast was mediocre as well. Overall though we enjoyed our week.
