All in all we loved our stay because of the beautiful surroundings and very easy access to ferry and local bus transport

Beautiful location with great balcony. Excellent breakfast with friendly, great servers

Dinner prices seemed quite high with not many alternatives Our shower did not work well. Room size seemed a bit cramped for the price

Hotel with stunning lake view

The room we checked in has balcony with fabulous lake view, it was really stunning. The room was clean, comfortable, all amenities was provided, and free flow of water and soft drinks from the minibar in the room. The breakfast was very good in food quality and nice lake view during breakfast too. A safe indoor parking was provided with minimum charges. Overall the hotel is one of the best hotel we stayed during our trip to Switzerland.

We checked in April the weather was good, but noted there is no air-conditioner in the room, could be hot during summer. Other than that the hotel is perfect.

Nightmare

On 8th of April 2023, there was an irresponsible dog owner letting his dog at the balcony barking early in the morning nonstop. I called the receptionists, but they didn’t do anything to stop by saying there were many dogs and they didn’t know which dog that barked all morning. I went there to relax. I expected for a peaceful surroundings but the last day turned out to be a disaster. I couldn’t sleep and had to leave asap because of this.

the location was perfect for a calm weekend. amazing view, calm and perfect for a retreat

the room did not have a coffee machine, which is a basic for a hotel room, it adds to the problem because there is only one cafe, beside hotel, which is open till 5pm. the next option is to go to hotel restaurant, which doesn’t always make sense. also there is not a single restaurant or shop nearby. the closest is around 15 min walk. so you would expect better facilities in hotel

No kettle in the room... but house keeping supplied us with a nespresso machine and capsules free of charge

Beautiful location marred by bad staff culture

Beautiful location, even if other hotels nearby offer the same or similar. Private access to the lake is great. Breakfast staff was nice - important to make this point in light of my criticisms below.

Terrible check-in experience: in the paper that you sign upon arrival my room number had been struck by hand, with another number written down in pen. I asked about it, and the staff member simply confirmed that “Your room was changed.” When I arrived at this room, it was near the noisy gym and had nowhere near the lake view I had booked. I went back to reception, where the staff started arguing with me about how hotels work and that they need to give priority to people who are staying longer (!). After a long argument they put me in a different (and to their credit, *slightly* upgraded) room… which unfortunately had ants all over the bathroom. By then I didn’t have the energy to fight again. The whole thing left a very bad impression which I could not fully recover from during our stay.

Incredible value and views for the price . Highly recommend!

The hotel is in a beautiful location with an amazing lake and mountain view. The breakfast was very nice with lots of options and the staff is just very friendly and helpful. We asked for a fan and extra pillows that arrived within 5 minutes in our room. Plus they provided in the room apples, cake and a fridge with water, soda, juice which is refilled everyday included in the room rate. We were very satisfied at this hotel and highly recommend it.

The shower was a little tiny.
