A happy stay , close to the beach and good customer service too

I liked the location of the hotel , so close to the sea front and I had a nice side view from my double room. Hotel reception staff were friendly and polite , one staff member remembered my name throughout the course of my stay and asked me how I am etc. Really nice service . Good cleaning service too-I stayed for 2 nights and my bin was emptied on day 2 which I felt was a nice touch. I noticed an ironing board in the room which was a welcome addition (irons available at reception). Good quality kettle and well stocked for tea, coffee , sugar, milk. Bathroom well stocked with pumped shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. For the price paid , the location and the facilities were impressive.

The room was very warm , the window in the double room did open but it was a very warm room throughout the day time. A fan would be a nice addition. The en suite bathroom was clean and tidy but it was a snug fit , some people may struggle using the facilities . It didn't impact me or spoil my stay but may be a bother for some people.

Done the job, but far from luxury

The view out of the window and the location.

Slopping floor. Tv kept cutting out Shower was poor. Toilet leaked Springy mattress Loads of stairs

Superb

Great location. Clean room. Plenty of hot water with a good pressure.

I took a bit of time to get council parking on the street, so some patience required.

Strawberry fields delivered on all accounts. I really hope to be back.

Good location, clean functional room, great staff all round, including a night porter who was still smiling after a night shift! I'm impressed.

Parking is not very easy, but that is the same all over Brighton, so travel by train! the internal shared courtyard is a bit noisy in the summer when you have the windows opened. It sounded like a mechanism from an electric gate or a trolley being rolled.

Was a good place to stay but they should improve more .

Location, cleaning . Staff was kind and informed us .

So old building. When someone closing door you can hear. Beds are not comfortable. Who is staying in next room, you can hear them what are they talking, this was really bothered me and my friend.

Confined to my small room all the time.

The room and bathroom facilities met my expectation but I do expect a property like this to have a small Lounge space - they appear to have converted all public areas to rooms to maximise on room revenue. This would prevent me from recommending or returning to this property.

Comfy and warm

The space provided for my family was perfect. We had a baby and the staff allocated us on the ground floor which helped us a lot. All was perfect since our arrival. Really polite and attentive staff.

We have nothing to mention. Very nice and clean place. Quiet too and near all main attractions. wouldn't hesitate to come back and recommended to stay in

Have stayed there multiple times over 2022 while moving Home in Brighton, and consider the place my second Home.

Location excellent for Brighton. I have a disability which prevents me from walking up to many flights of stairs. They have always accommodated when possible, and giving me a room on the lower floors, which easier to walk up the stairs. Also housekeeping is very good, and from my first visit, note that I’m not an early riser, and do their rounds according. in fact, from the front desk check in, insuring the Wi-Fi is working on my devices, there is absolutely no negative comments about the staff. I look forward to seeing them.

Small thing, but would be nice if the had a small vending machine for soft drinks/ice

Great staff! I left my mobile phone there when I left, and I practically ran back to the hotel. The manager was there waiting for me with my phone! 😇 Comfy bed, very quiet, good shower.

Good value room, super convenient for the beach and Brighton's main attractions.

The bathroom was cramped and the shower did not look like it was cleaned. The sink tap seemed to be broken spraying water everywhere. Everything else was clean and functional though.

Nice made the most of what we had ..

Close to the shops and beach ... Rooms where clean every day .. Clean towls ect ...

Cold provid small lights by bed ... No car parking space for gest .. not stated on Web site OK for short stay... rooms need updating, There Website needs more information.

Spotlessly clean & good location. But a light breakfast should be included. Would stay there again.

Great location - on a square and close to the seafront and pier. Spotlessly clean.

For the price, I do think there should have been breakfast on offer. Even just a light continental breakfast.

Would definitely stay again but take own toiletries along.

Great for a short stay. The theme and price. Amazing view from top floor twin room we stayed in. Plenty of tea and coffee. Very clean room!

The mattresses were uncomfortable. Didn’t get the strawberry toiletries as advertised in the photos only one small standard soap, disappointing and misleading. The doors in public area leading to each floor need cleaning.
