Lovely traditional cottage right in the middle of Tewkesbury. On the river. Park right across the street.
I liked everything about it.

Beautiful location and views.
Wish the heating was more effective on the top floor. Also a warning of the stepover beam into the attic bedroom.

A beautiful and homely little cottage in an exquisite location and a park right over the way. As soon as we arrived we knew we were very lucky. The hostess was very helpful & helpful in all ways.

Location was excellent for walking into town where there are plenty of cafes to choose for breakfast, Lunch or dinner.

Cosy cottage, well equipped, close to the town.
There was nothing we didn't like
4.5
Great location, very comfy bed.
Wifi not connecting, not good signal generally in the cottage, but then we were really there to relax, so didn't bother us too much.

Great location, the cottage managed to be both spacious and cosy (though might feel a bit more crowded with 4 people). Very well equipped and full instructions provided for all appliances. Would love to stay in summer so we could use the pretty little courtyard and walk by the river (it was in flood when we there). Plenty to see, do and eat in Tewkesbury and the surrounding area.
We couldn't get the wifi to connect to our devices (but it wasn't a major problem).

accessible to town centre. quaint cottage nestled above the River Avon.

We were greeted at the door with a lovely goody basket with chocolates, biscuits, fruit. The beautiful, cosy cottage was spotlessly clean, we had everything we could have possibly needed - and more! The king-size bed is one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in!
Perfect location for the town, the river, the Abbey. Everything was lovely - we had a great few days in it.
No complaints - except if you're 6'5" you will bump into the living room lampshade! Otherwise the ceilings were all a good height, so it wasn't an issue. It is very small downstairs, but it's a traditional Riverside cottage, so it's typical and very cosy! We had plenty of room and really enjoyed our stay.

I felt immersed in history in this cottage. The cottage is so well equipped, and well located to visit the town. I had the best nights sleep for a long time. The inclusion of a parking permit in the nearby car park was a bonus, it is a short walk through a beautiful park but there is ample room outside the cottage to drop off luggage etc. I visited with my elderly aunt for her birthday and she was delighted. We were lucky enough to be at the abbey when choral song was taking place with a wonderful choir. We visited the old towns of Upton Upon Severn (15mins drive) Winchcombe (20mins) and if you like history be sure to check out Odda’s Chapel and St Mary’s Church at Deerhurst. (5mins south of Tewkesbury). We hope to visit again very soon.

River Cottage was an absolute delight to stay in. It was only a few minutes walk into the town centre which had an excellent choice of pubs and restaurants on offer. Tewkesbury was a lovely place to visit and very dog friendly.
The Cottage was very comfortable and the hosts had left us milk, bread and a selection of local goodies.
It was very well equipped with all we needed to enjoy our stay.
There was nothing to dislike about the property.
The only thing missing which might have enhanced our stay was a barbecue; the weather was lovely and we were able to spend time in the pretty little garden. I had taken our own portable bbq with us but it might be a nice thing for other people to do.
I did fill the watering can and keep it by the the bbq for safety reasons

The location of this lovely cosy and warm cottage is great, everything that was needed for a short (or long) stay was provided and everything was exceptionally clean. There is an issue with parking (we were lucky though) but the car parks are really close by so nothing too testing. Really lovely place to stay to make full use of visiting this beautiful area.
There was nothing we didn't like but some of the people who live nearby were very difficult regarding parking and one gentleman in particular asked every day when we were moving our car from one of the free parking areas.

This historic and character filled cottage is situated in an idyllic spot. The cottage was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It is on a peaceful and quiet corner and we would highly recommend it.

Cottage was well equipped, clean and in a lovely location. Near to the centre of Tewkesbury and shops, museums and places to eat. But also access to The Ham for lovely walks.
The settee could have been comfier, but spoke to John and he’s looking to change it. Perhaps two chairs might be better.
