Victor & Aaron are super kind and welcoming. from the moment we arrived we felt like home. the whole building has been built and designed by the owners and there is so much love & care in every little detail.
they were always there with helpful recommendations. various places to chill & hang out.

Lovely and helpful staff. Speak English. We're willing to help with finding laundry facilities and money exchange as well as advise on things to do and tour booking around the islands. The building and rooms are so quirky and cool. More importantly, clean and comfortable. A 5 minute walk from the main street and seafront.
WiFi is as they warned "Galapagos wifi" 😁 This was not a big issue for me. Was sufficient for the essentials

Great Hostel in a great location.

nice and iconic building and architecture. in walking distance to all main sights on island. pool table in main chill out area.
pool was not filled up during our stay, although we were told it would be filled. the AC had problems working stable, a relay or interface and overusage problem. it got fixed while we stayed there, after that it was fine.

Victor and staff were exceptionally helpful, providing information, recommendations and bookings through the onsite travel agency. Victor even went out of his way to rectify an issue with a 3rd party tour operator which was really appreciated.
Hostel is well located, close to the seafront and main street with lots of shop and restaurant options. The hostel is very quirky, with a number of different communal areas. The room was a good size, with comfortable beds and air conditioning.
The hostel was very quiet so didn’t have much atmosphere, the plunge pool wasn’t in use and the bar wasn’t open - perhaps this is different at other times of the year.
The wi-fi was patchy, but this is true across the islands and definitely not specific to this hostel.

Cool room design, good location
Overpriced compared to similar accomodation nearby eg Flightless Comrand.
Staff is often not there.

impressive space although quiet when we visited. we expected that it would have more ‘life’ with more customers.
while we were there the water was off most mornings when we were trying to get ready for the day. it would usually be back on in the afternoon but go off in the night. we were informed that had been fixed by the end of our stay though.
we also spoke to the owner about going on some tours. we were very glad we shopped around though as his prices were significantly higher than the regular prices you could find in Puerto Ayora.

What a wonderful, creative and quirky hotel. The mosaics are amazing, creative use of trees throughout the property and lots of interesting perches to view the ocean. I was lucky to experience 2 different rooms and the artist/architect utilized spaces with oddly shaped colored glass windows and beams. I was in awe of the property

The hotel itself was cool and quirky, the main reason why I booked this place. I believe all rooms are individually decorated which is a nice touch. The location of the hotel is quiet but close enough to the fish market and a few restaurants, no where in puerto ayora is difficult to get to by walking it's only a small town.
The shower was hot once the tap had been run and I'd say that the WiFi was 'Decent' compared to other hotels on the island.
I don't like to write bad reviews, especially to a family run place. However...
I felt the price was high for what you got. You pay more because its a quirky building but that's where it ends. Credit cards are not accepted, only cash.
The sheets were old and a bit dirty but it's a hostal / 'cheaper' hotel so I don't generally don't have the highest expectations and I'm not fussy.
However I woke up in the morning to find not one, not two but 3 cockroaches in my welcome glass....
As I say, I never write bad reviews but I felt this had to be highlighted. Unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again and I would not recommend to others.
I only booked here for one night and I'm happy about that.
I feel like a '5' is a fair - generous score.

tons of places to split up, lots of common areas I wasn’t expecting. cleaning each day was great. the staff helped organize our entire trip we saved so much money through them and had ultimate flexibility in what we did. it was a great value.

Very unique design and very close to the main port.
I liked everything but just wish they had mosquito screens in the windows. I love fresh air and it was hard to have any ventilation in the room without having mosquitoes coming in.

Funky, delightful, would highly recommend. Victor was a fabulous host.

Great terrace, great decor, free bananas and coffee/tea, fresh juice upon arrival, short walk from shops/restaurants
Wifi didn’t work once, door didn’t lock, shower knob somehow had electrical currents (really dangerous, we got electrocuted several times), the room had a moldy/basement-y smell, the floor had an inch of water flooding after average rainfall, didn’t see a single other guest in 5 days, owner Victor is super shady and will charge random fees without telling you (like $5 extra per person per ticket with the ferry, which every other place books for free) etc. Unfortunately we already had another reservation for later in the week, and even then, nothing had been fixed. We ended up going somewhere else. Not nearly as cute as the pictures. Especially wouldn’t recommend for backpackers.

Really great vibe. Victor and Aaron really helpful with info and tour arrangements.

Lonesome George exceeded our expectation. Victor and his son whet well beyond my expectation's in terms of side trip booking and personal service Victor and his son taught use on how to enjoy the islands'. The property is a most unique and interesting multi level structures encompassing trees, flowers wood and mortar in unique ways'
breakfast was ample eggs, fresh fruit toasted and great coffee.
I became ill from street food and Victor found us a guide to get us to the airport. I would recommend the side trip on the way from the airport to the hotel. It is well worth the investment and the lava tube was interesting and a bit of a chakllenge to my 78 year old body.
THANK YOU VICTOR!!!!!

Great location and friendly, helpful staff. Accommodated a series of stays between excursions.

One of the most beautiful places I stayed in Ecuador, you cannot miss this! It was extremely clean, very well-designed, and the owner/staff were all very kind/helpful. Great location too, we just loved everything about it. The fresh juice on arrival was also a very nice touch.
Checkout is 10am so a tad on the early side but that's a very minor detail :).

We were really surprised how beautiful everything was with so many details. The room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed lying in the hammocks. I forgot something in the room and they were so nice to send it to me. We could definitely recommend it. Book your stay!

The hotel has a great atmosphere, and the exterior areas are very nicely decorated, and a common room with a pool table. The staff was very nice and helpful, and the location was nice, close to restaurants and the ATMs in town, and convenient to places to buy fruit.
The room was a little uncomfortable and small with not much space to spread out for a larger family. The bathroom sink had a public restroom type faucet, which only stayed on for a few seconds (or less) with each push, which was the most annoying faucet we have encountered in our extensive travels.
4.5
Great location; hospitable staff; helpful tips plus they arranged a tour for us; very comfortable room & beds.

Fun and funky place!
Need a headboard so you can sit up in bed.
