A wonderful property in a beautiful quiet location. Great to unwind!

Beautiful, peaceful and relaxing

The bathroom was a little dated and if you used the washing machine and had a shower the bathroom flooded.

Exactly as expected

An idyllic property, exactly as pictured and described. Lovely well kept grounds with plenty of areas to relax and entertain. House modern with plenty of space and all the comforts you need. Appreciated the rural location, and only a twenty minute drive to Lixouri for groceries, restaurants and amenities. Pool is kept clean and bedding changed during your stay, but unobtrusively.

House generally spotless but only let down by grubby shower. No dishwasher. Kettle not working when we stayed. At night nearby barking dogs can be a nuisance, and although the property looks amazing lit up at night, the lights are on automatically until dawn and shone through thin curtains. Pool isn't heated, fine normally but a bit chilly to use during our stay in an unusually cool May.

Great villa for a couple!

The outdoor space was great, and facilities inside the villa were perfect for what we needed.

Location was a little out of the way and not many facilities nearby. We were slightly out of season so no tavernas were open nearby etc.

Superb

Really lovely villa and it lived up to the photos. Great pool, really nice barbecue area and a generally very well appointed villa. We really appreciated having the washing machine, which meant we could freshen up our pool towels and clothes. The host was really discreet, but also very responsive with any questions or issues we had and our couple of queries were sorted really quickly. Location is nice, an easy five minute stroll to a taverna down the road, short drive to a small beach and easy to drive to a supermarket and into Lixouri. There's also a couple of mini-markets in the main village a few minutes drive away. We realised later in the holiday, but when you've flown into Argostoli, it's much quicker to take the ferry to Lixouri than to drive all the way to the villa - it's really easy to use and they're about every half hour every day during the summer months, costs 9Euro.

The bed mattress was really hard, a bit like sleeping on a board! That being said we slept well every night, so it wouldn't be a deal-breaker for a return visit.

Beautiful Villa

Beautiful Villa, lovely setting and pool. Plenty of areas to sit and relax. The Barbecue area is spacious and comfy. The balcony has some pretty views.

The shower was a little problematic and dated If the trees were landscaped/trimmed, the views to the sea would be enhanced from the balcony..

Family stone villa with large pool!

Family stone villa with clean and big piscina! Ideal for family or friends! Very spacious rooms (the one on the first floor had a beautiful view overlooking the pool)! The garden was vast, with trees, a hammock and the very very clean pool.

Perfect place for a family!

Perfect place for a family! We were 2 adults with 2 kids and we had enough space for everyone. Swimming pool was perfect - not too big so water was not too cold so the children loved it :) The hosts were always there when we needed them but they also called a few times whether we needed something! it’s good to know someone thinks about you...

The wifi speed was not so good, but we were always around discovering the area, so I believe this is a minor fault of the place. Lixouri, the main town, is 10 minutes away by car

The Stone Masons of Kefalonia are alive and well :)

The stone masons of Kefalonia are alive and well :) This villa has some of the best stone work you will find anywhere in the world.......10/10 well done to them (sorry its a man thing). Lovely rural setting a short drive from a quiet pretty natural beach. Very well laid out landscaped gardens with lots of different places to sit and enjoy the sun. Lovely big Smart TV so you can log in to your own Prime or Netflix account and watch English language films whilst away.......perfect ! Beautiful sunsets from the large 1st floor balcony.

Would have been better with 2 bathrooms (none upstairs) and its a bit odd with the bathroom off the kitchen (which as a result wouldn't pass building regs in the UK).........just an odd design which perhaps should have been changed at the design phase of the villa.
