The bedrooms were at each end of the house so good for privacy. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of wood for the fire.
The driveway. (Yes I was warned) The plastic around the balcony rails blocks the view while sitting down.

The view and verandah were amazing
Well equipped kitchen
Wood fire was lovely
There's a shower over bath tub with a large picture window in the Southern bedroom ensuite with no privacy screen.
You literally stand at the window and shower!!
Not at all a comfortable situation when you know there's a caretaker on site as well...
Lots of dust under both beds & house smelt a bit musty when we first entered
The driveway definitely needs a 4WD with good ground clearance to climb up to the house

Location location location. Views of everything. Quiet, lovely landscape.
Tricky driveway - but you eventually got used to it . Sorry , but a washing machine would be nice as we stayed 6 nights. I understand why - maybe limited access to a machine would be good.
4.5
Amazing view , well appointed house
Was always worried we might come across someone coming the other way on the driveway

a great location close to town, nestle high up with an amazing view. literally 3 -5 minutes down the hill.
it was all great!

Excellent bird’s eye view of Stanthorpe. Everything you need was thoughtfully supplied. Clear instructions for items. Nice fire place. Nice views from the bath.
I had to ring and ask where I needed to go to collect the keys. That information could have been sent prior to our day of travel.

Loved the location of the property. The fire place made the house cosy and warm in the evenings and a pleasure to be in. All necessary facilities were provided.

No Breakfast provided ..Not a B+B
Location good but access road, although recently resurfaced was not really suitably negotiable at night times. We did not go into Stanthorpe for dinner at all due to the entrance road.

Loved the view. Well appointed kitchen. Very cosy
Didn't like the locked gate. A better system of gate would be better

Unique property superbly built, exceptional location, amazing views. Attention to detail makes it the perfect set up to relax and unwind.
The driveway up to the property is definitely a challenge and not for the feint hearted or a small car. The caretaker (while very discreet) was at the property for our whole stay. Yes there is a disclaimer that he ‘might’ be there and we may have just been unlucky. Even though its a separate cottage — it made it feel a little like and airBNB and that we didn’t have the place all to ourselves. Don’t let this put you off staying the place is amazing - just be aware.

views, coffee machine, local soaps and hand wash, some kitchen basics like oil and glad wrap
the driveway was scary and we could not go out at night as I would not drive that in the dark

the view and the verandah
drive in is very steep

Nothing
We did not stay at this accommodation as it didn't suit our needs and the false advertising of this property was very undesirable which we were still charged for. Without reading the fine print we didn't realize we only had booked 1 room for 2 male workers. As the above notes when on the booking site states above the price, it is a booking for a whole house.

Amazing location and stunning views. Very functional house to sit and enjoy dinner and wine with a nice log fire.

The views were amazing. The house was clean, comfortable and cosy. The house was well especially equipped including access to a BBQ on the deck. The fireplace was big enough to heat the whole house. The rooms were spacious with more than enough storage space. I would highly recommend.
The driveway was rather steep and may be disconcerting to a nervous driver. It is well marked by guides but I am glad I didn't attempt driving it at night.

The property was peaceful and quiet.
Getting to the property was a little bit hairy getting up the driveway

The house was perfect. Absolutely beautiful, immaculately clean, and had everything you could possibly want. Loved it and can't wait to return. View is spectacular. Beautiful cozy fire place. Comfy bed. Divine!
Only some flexibility in timing of collecting keys. Other than that not a thing to complain about!
5.0
The view, the luxury, solitude and the driveway.
Loved it all

Had everything we needed. Two couples away for a weekend. The view was lovely. The fireplace was used to warm us up on a rainy weekend. Appreciate the wine and crackers which we enjoyed after buying some local cheese.
We found the bed a bit hard without a pillow top.
No shampoo or dryer in the one bedroom . We found it difficult to find the light switch for the kitchen and living area.
3.5
Location was amazing. Views were outstanding. Property has been very well designed.
Lovely wine and goodies supplied. Close to town and although a few minor dislikes I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in town.
The view from the bath/shower is breathtaking as it is from all places in the property.
Care taker is literally right behind the house and you have to drive passed it to get to the house. Though they were invisable it was just not as secluded as we thought it would be. The wind that comes up the mountain is hard to enjoy, especially at night when it's banging the doors etc. The bed is a little too small, for such a large room it should be at least a queen bed.
The cd player eject button was missing so we couldn't use it. The DVD player kept freezing and skipping so we couldn't use it. Overall we loved it but there were a few small items I would have changed to make it outstanding.

Great location. Well fitted cabin. Comfortable. Firewood and kindling provided for fireplace. View is lovely.
The deck fencing is covered in an opaque plastic which obscures the view. A high table and stools would be better suited. No laundry facilities.
4.5
Very central location

Had all the comforts of home with all the extras on top to make it a memorable stay. Definitely will be recommending it to family and friends if they stay at Stanthorpe 👍
