I’m the middle of the mountains we found paradise

The property was stunning , I truly appreciated all the little details of this country House it was stunning ! And the staff was a joy to deal with very professional and polite I would 1000% recommend

Awesome little gem

The owner Raquel and especially Sandra at the house were extremely friendly and helpful! The house is very new and well equipped. Breakfast is delicious! Garden is still being planted, but already very nice. We didn't use the pool, but looks great! Location is very good for visiting Piódâo.

Amazing hotel with outstanding service

This is an amazing hotel just outside of town. It is located on a farm. Rooms are just beautiful, clean and beds very comfortable. The hostess went out of her way to ensure we had everything we need. They even prepared breakfast earlier to accommodate our schedule.

A wonderful relaxing stay

We loved the peace & quiet of the area. Wildlife on the doorstep & lovely walks nearby. And Figo the cat, who will happily guide you to the river. A variety of breakfasts was brought to us in a basket each day. Little kitchen was handy for evening meals else it's a short drive to restaurants.

wonderful magical place

lovely place, river and horses of the property. Raquel was wonderful and thoughtful and helped us with everything we needed. the room is large with a very spacious bathroom. not many people around this time of the year (march) on weekdays

Relax in the mountains

Good breakfast, nice view, lovely rooms and house, perfect nature and very pleasure hostess and owner Take your car and drive around, there are a lot of nice places

it's just a recommendation for tourists: Don't forget to bring some food/wine with you. It might be difficult to find open super market. Internet signal is low in the mountains and hotel. Don't expect you working there.

Great location hosted by lovely people!

Such a beautiful and peaceful location! The house is a lovely mixture between Portugese authenticity and Scandinavian taste, embedded in a nice valley with nothing than the sound of the wind in the trees… The warm welcome and kindness from Raquel and Sandra made us realize again why we love Portugal and Portugese people!

Gearing up to become a little slice of heaven.

Decor looks very nice, staff was super friendly and tried to go out of their way for you, rooms are, well, roomy, and their patch of river, while a little shallow, is a perfect example of quiet around the water.

Tricky to find the entrance to the property, in particular because it is named differently on the board than here. The property still seems to be in the process of being built. Here and there some teething problems with fixtures and doors, something that they should sort out with their developer. Also, I think the paths are still not final, so the short ride is a little bumpy,

Excellent Breakfast - it's not vast variety but there are everything you need for your breakfast such as fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh brewed coffee, breads, cereals, eggs, fruits etc. Room was very cozy and bright with privacy and nature surroundings We always liked our regular visitor Figo - house cat every evening. Most of all, staff were so friendly and help to provide information.

Stunning place surrounded by wildlife!

Beautiful set up by the river and stunning cottage with all you could possibly need. Drinks in the fridge was a nice touch and breakfast was fabulous! Super helpful owner met us and showed us round and also recommend a local restaurant. We enjoyed watching birds just outside the window and going down to the river bank. Highly recommended!

It’s a 1.6km walk to a restaurant (if you want to drink but not drive) - Some small details need sorting ( it’s new!) ie: towel hooks for wet towels

The place is brand new and squeaky clean. Friendly and very efficient staff, Stunning view that enters the rooms from the windows. Horses in the arena and a "private" water stream, so what more could we ask for.?!
