Stayed with my adult son for a weekend getaway. Just a perfect place for a peaceful relaxing time in an unbelievably gorgeous setting. Quiet, comfortable, with enough room for individual time as well as time for togetherness and great conversation. Very clean, well furnished, everything worked perfectly. There are steps up to the porch and between levels, and some uneven ground, so won't be ideal for anyone with real mobility issues. But I'm in my seventies, and it was absolutely fine for me. Being in the redwoods, it can get chilly, but put on a sweater and it's very comfortable. Even had a lovely conversation over coffee with the neighbor across the road! Just perfect. Can't wait to come back and stay longer.

Cozy Redwood Retreat
Oma’s house was clean and cozy and nestled amongst the towering redwoods. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking some of our own meals, and we appreciated having use of the washer and dryer. The location was well situated for day trips to San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and Monterey. My kids really wanted to experience the redwoods and that we did!

Do not rent here
We booked this property for the location and idea that our family would be comfortable as a home away from home...which was completely incorrect. Upon arriving the keys were bent and very difficult to even open the door. The home has no instructions. The large deck was not swept clean leaving a hazard in which our toddler fell on. The property lists a heater and fireplace which is false. They give you space heaters which are not envied by parents of young children therfore we froze at night until we got our children to bed and were able turn these on. We rented this as a family and ran out of toilet paper on day 2 of 6 leaving us to go buy our own. The back patio has a standing propane heater that is broken. The door was left open to the propane bottle and bent which would not close and almost fell on us as we were first looking at the deck. This took the beautiful forest setting away from us by creating a another dangerous hazard on the deck. They advertised a BBQ for use when we booked and when attempting to use it again did not work and was full of rust leaving it unsafe to cook on. Internet was horribly slow and spotty. Overall this was the worst place we have ever stayed on a vacation getaway and we come here multiple times a year. We feel like we threw money to slumb lords pockets so they can profit off of our family's chance to relax and enjoy the beautiful forest. I do not suggest anyone rent this place until there is a major overhaul by the owners!

Santa Cruz Thanksgiving
Very quiet, picturesque and relaxing. Back deck is wonderful! Home could use a few upgrades. Internet is sporadic and exceptionally slow. Downstairs shower head is broken.

Great Location and a House in Need
The deck needs the location and the redwoods are awesome. The fireplace was very sweet. The couch, beds, pillows, showers and the kitchen cabinets all had issues. The shower head was piercing, the beds lumpy or too hard. But the worst, the downstairs bedrooms are not attached inside the house. You must go outside to get to them. Both bedrooms smelled awful and full of mildew smell. While the place was clean, it needed attention to details. There wasn’t enough soap, shampoo, TP for the week we were there and some light bulbs didn’t work and cabinet doors would stay closed.

Oma's house is very cute, and the deck surrounded by redwoods cannot be beat. But the living room is tiny (don't let the pictures fool you - the door hits the back of the couch when you walk in the front door). Even though the house sleeps six, the dining table doesn't seat six. Most upstairs windows don't open, and the screen doors on the front and back doors are full of holes. The downstairs queen bed will leave you looking for ibuprofen in the morning.
And to top it all off, the main upstairs chandelier was burnt out of all lightbulbs, the stove and oven dont work, and the washing machine is broken.
I have stayed in my fair share of rental homes, and this one was such a cluster of dissapointments. I didn't pay all this money to cook on a hot plate and haul home all my familie's dirty laundry. I wanted to cook in a decent kitchen and have clean clothes, but that didn't happen.
We still had a lovely time in Felton, but the next time we come back, I will not be booking through Vacasa.

Oma's house
Great place and stay overall. Some minor inconveniences: no dish soap or towels, weird shampoo/conditioner/body wash, bed sagged so one rolls towards middle. Otherwise pleasant and charming.

Cozy
The cabin was a perfect home base for us while attending our son's wedding. Everything was pretty clean, just a few cobwebs up high. Although it wouldn't have made a difference to us, it would have been nice to know there was no central heat. And we were disappointed that there wasn't very little in the way of essential groceries, especially coffee. The neighborhood was beautiful and quiet.

Oma's House!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is older with almost all of the modern conveniences, just missing a dishwasher. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The wrap around deck was fantastic.

Nice deck
There was no house manual to troubleshoot the problems, and the house is managed by a management company rather than a local person or company. They did respond fairly quickly when I emailed them, but weren't actually able to help with any of our problems. The biggest problem was that one of the jack-and-jill bathroom pocket doors was off its roller, so unable to close - bad for both the person in the bathroom and the people in the bedroom.
Based on previous listings, I was more worried about being hot than cold, but the downstairs bedrooms were chilly at night. There was a heater in the closet, but it worked rather slowly. The downstairs was a little stuffy and clammy too. One of us went upstairs to sleep, but found that the gas fireplace wasn't working.
They had a large library of VHS tapes, and we thought we'd watch one, but it wasn't plugged in, and we had to figure out how to configure it.
Apart from our difficulties, the house was quiet, cozy and charming.
