Really close to town, decent price, good bar and the staff were really lovely and helpful. Can get sim card, Taxis to airport and further transport all sorted here

Social hostel with great staff

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and there was a good social vibe at the hostel.

The WiFi was really slow/didn’t really work in the dorm rooms and my bed was right next to the AC so it was a little cold at night.

Wouldn't recommend

Clean and good facilities

Staff were not polite! Did not appreciate staff to be drunk and rude! Out of all the hostels we stayed in Peru, this was amongst the worst. The room we stayed in was average and was pretty small considering how much we paid. Oh and they will charge you 5% extra for paying by card? Found that abit strange for an established hostel

Cute hostel in Miraflores

The staff are AMAZING here!! They spoke both English and Spanish and the front desk is open 24/7. Everyone is super friendly and it is such a cute hostel (it looks exactly like the pictures!). It is on a quiet side street in Miraflores, so there was no traffic sounds that I could hear as well. The room was clean and the adjoining bathroom was also clean. The two women that checked me in were great in showing me around and hastily getting me a taxi out of an unsafe situation later that night. The woman that checked me out, Rose, was also very kind and helpful during that situation. They also offered a complimentary shot at the bar upstairs haha I would recommend this hostel!

I didn't like that I could not lock my room since it was not a private room. I have almost exclusively stayed in shared hostel rooms when I travel and have never come across the problem of being unable to lock my door whenever. There was a working lock on the door and I was the only occupant for the night in my 4-bed room, but there is only one key from what I understood, so I wasn't allowed to lock it. I would have felt much safer being able to do so as the room is on the ground floor, and I felt that anyone could have walked in at any point during the night. The bar was also a little loud from inside the room, but I think they lowered the music after 10pm.

A lovely hostel with a great atmosphere. Very clean, the beds are super comfortable. The common space and the rooftop bar are pleasant and fun. The staff is amazing - Rose, Jessica and Armando were nice, kind and professional, and made me feel at home away from home. Thank you (:

The location was so convenient, close to many markets, restaurants, bars and seaside. The staff was great, amazing get to know a lot of nice people there besides the guests, special hug to Rose🌹! I'd definitely stay there again!

Exceptional

Definitely the best hostel we've been in, the staff was amazing especially lovely rose, was very thoughtful and made our stay here better. They knew English which was very nice and easy to communicate. The room was very clean and and exactly like the pictures in booking. The staff really makes you feel comfortable like it is your home. The location was great and close to park's and a lot of things to do. and of course The bar on the roof was awesome and we spend a lot of time there with Jessica our amazing bartender.

Jessica from the bar and Diana from reception made me feel right at home. They're the most charming and welcoming team you'll find in Lima. The hostel has an amazing location, walking distance from the Malecón. The area is the safest in Lima and the hostel has anything you need to be comfortable

Best roof terrace in Miraflores

Great hostel, bit tucked away in a residential-looking apartment building but the staff and roof terrace really make this place stand out. My private room was compact but comfortable, the window opened out into the corridor but for a one night stay after flying in I was fine with that. Prices up at the bar are really reasonable, there's a good happy hour and the area was a good balance of sociable and chilled on the Sunday evening I spent up there. All the cafes/restaurants of Parque Kennedy are a few mins walk away.

amazing location in Miraflores, steps to the park, ocean, and main streets with all the stores and restaurants. Good breakfast.

the fist room is right by the receptionist is very loud, you hear everything all night long, so didn’t get any sleep. Also Uber/taxi from the airport is 35-45 soles.

Stayed at Alpes Hostel, not Waikiki

Lima Alpes hostel is fabulous, no idea about Waikiki as we booked it and we were sent to another property.

Disappointing

Rooftop bar ( but cold) en- suite bathroom / showers. Clean, quiet

Staff cold, unfriendly, unhelpful. Not good value for money. Location far from centre of Miraflores, half hour walk / bus from Lima centre. Limited kitchen facilities.

10/10 would stay again

Very sociable hostel and met many amazing people here. Hostel organised many activities every night and offered reasonable dry cleaning and tours. It’s roughly 15 minutes to the beach, and to Kennedy Park. Plenty of eateries, stores and facilities near by. Breakfast was extra, but looked worthwhile.

It can be noisy in the rooms from the rooftop bar, but staff are very strict. Noise is reduced by 10:30, and bar is closed at 1am.
