Wonderful sea view, every room faces the see and you can access to a private beach directly from the hotel.
The restaurant is so good, try it if you want genuine Italian food.
The people working are very welcoming
It’s a bit old fashioned and no Air conditioning nor fridge, so during hot summer days can be a bit hard. But you can always refresh on the beach!

This was my second time staying here and I love it! I’ve stayed at a five-star resort on the island and I prefer Hotel Angelino. The friendly and inviting staff; quaint, quiet, and comfortable rooms; on-site, quality restaurant; thermal bath and sauna; and over-the-sea location have made me a return customer and I can’t wait until my next trip here. For those seeking a beautiful beach, off-the-tourist track setting, this is a great place for you. You can take a taxi boat from Sant’Angelo or carry your luggage from the Maronti Beach bus stop. The pay-off is a gorgeous, private beach and over the sea location with a lovely, friendly staff. Can’t say enough good things about the place. You’ll understand why people love Italy, Campania and Ischia so much.
We didn’t mind it because our expectations are realistic with island life, but for awareness, the hotel does not have A/C so they provided a fan.

Great balcony view
Beach easy access
Good food
Helpful staff
Old building, mouldy building smell
No room in shower -door opening to shower was appr 12" hard to fit in
Stiff bath towels
No fridge or air con
Nothing pretty at all about this place
Photos totally misrepresent what it looks like or they are very old photos

Location of Angelino was stunning. If you want to relax and hear only the ocean this is the place for you. Food was good and service was at all times very welcoming. Even though rooms were basic but they were clean and cleaning was done daily. This hotel can really be recommended and we hope to come back here as well.
Everything was good.

The location is amazing - right on the beach - and the staff were outstanding...so friendly and helpful. I felt totally welcomed and at home. Breakfast was a great selection of fruit, pastries, toast with juices and delicious coffee. Lunch was good value too. The owners gave excellent suggestions for excursions and also for running routes. I'll definitely be coming back!
The path to the pool was a little bit steep! But totally worth the effort!

The staff is amazing, the owner of the property is a super nice person, he made whatever he could to help us in our stay. Despite the difficulties in reaching the property, he has been very kind and supportive, by personally driving us.

We liked everything. The staff was really friendly and they also understood English really well. The hotel was right at the beach, so you can hear the waves when you sleep. The temperature in the room was nice, not too hot, not too cold. If you want to move around you can always order a taxi-boat. It's 4 euros per person if you want to go to St. Angelo. We had so many places we wanted to visit in this island, but we ended up mostly just chilling at the beach - It was truly relaxing and we loved our vacation very much.
I hope that people who read the reviews understand that getting to the hotel is really difficult, maybe they should not come with a suitcase, because there is no road to the hotel - just sand. We knew that but we still saw people with suitcases. All the restaurants at the beach closed before dinner and also the boat-taxi didn't work after it got dark, so there was no place to get anything to eat. But you can get food from the hotel as well, or there is a pizza place next to the bus station in Maronti. There is also no supermarkets in the walking distance.

location was amazing. 180 degrees over the sea. Weather was perfect! A stunning firework display! The hot thermal bath on the roof was perfect!
all was great. The storm on my arrival made the adventure of arriving a thrill.

absolutely loved this hotel! my first nights in Ischia, I stayed at the Miramare. But I wanted to explore the island and get out of the resort vibe. I chose Hotel Angelino because of the beautiful beach location and it was so worth it. The balconies set one on the water with the most gorgeous views. It is a quaint hotel with a family vibe. The family was so incredibly nice, especially because I do not speak Italian. My stay was so special and memorable. Thank you!
My only note is that the Hotel is a bit of a challenge to get to especially if you have luggage or any type of physical challenge which might prevent you from walking/carrying your luggage on the beach for a 7 minute walk. Also Google maps is not accurate so I recommend getting to the Maronti bus stop during daylight hours, and simply asking people where the hotel is. It is all the way at the end of the beach toward St. Angelo. May be a good idea to pack light so getting there is not such a hassle. That said, it is well worth it. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer.

I got stuck in the hotel during severe two-days storm and the personnel did a great job to make us all feel safe and welcomed!
The location of the hotel is really picaresque on the sunny days but on the rainy ones - really far from the infrastructure (during storm it was literally not safe to fet out of the hotel - because of the proximith of the sea, not to mentio getting to the nearest shop or village)

The staff was super nice and even picked us and our luggage up from the nearby bus station by a rubber boat. The location was perfect, literally on the beach and yet felt private. We also really enjoyed the aesthetics of the hotel. We would highly recommend Angelino to anyone wanting to relax in beautiful surrounding and feel like time stops for a moment.
Air-conditioning would have been nice, but that's really the only thing that was missing.

Beautiful, timeless hotel right on the beach, gorgeous views. Excellent breakfast, wonderful service from a charming family. Meals, beach, everything was outstanding. There’s a private rooftop pool and a sauna in addition to the hot springs Roman bath spa 5 mins away on a footpath.
The mattress could be updated and a fan would be a relief on the hottest days. But worth dealing with in paradise.

the hotel is situated extremely close to the sea and has own thermal pool. the breakfast was good as well as the meals for lunch and dinner. everything went smoothly, the owners & the personnel were very helpful & friendly.

Excellent location, you step directly into the sea from the hotel! The sea water was warm, clear and clean. When booking, it seemed that access to the hotel would be difficult, but in reality it was not at all like that. It is very convenient to take a bus directly from the port, and it is only a 10-minute walk from the bus terminal to the hotel along the seashore. A wonderful view opened from the balcony. Delicious and fresh breakfast (croissant straight from the oven), rich, tasty and well-priced lunch and dinner offers. The white wine was great, we will miss it! It was a very peaceful and relaxing vacation!
You could add some salty food to the breakfast menu, maybe an omelette. Before the trip we read other reviews where many complained that there was no air conditioning and the room was hot. During our trip, the air temperature outside was 28-34 degrees and we did not miss the air conditioner. The pleasant sea breeze is cooling. In fact, there were no shortages for us.

Location (quite and relaxing - July), amazing included breakfast (such a positive after a few poor included breakfasts while travelling), staff are lovely and friendly.
Only downside was we didn't book longer here :)

Best possible location right at the seafront. Breakfast was superb, with lots of fruit.
We had a room under the sun-roof, which got very hot, and there is no a/c.

My experience was PERFECT.
We were literally in paradise during 4 days !! the hotel is on the beach & it was a such amazing experience. Amazing view, sounds of the waves … Thank you so much for your kindness & for having us. Plus, you can enjoy the beach sunbeds for free… or take a taxi-boat to the beautiful sant’angelo… It was wonderful. 5 stars isn’t enough!

Right on the beach with amazing views of the sea. The owner was extremely welcoming and was a great host, providing instructions and help. Amazing value for money.
Some may find it slightly “inaccessible” due to the travel/walk from the bus. Watertaxi made it easier.

I highly recommend this place. It's the perfect place for resting in one of the best parts of Ischia Island. A bit far from the center but it's worth it to wake everyday at the beach. Hotel's restaurant is pretty good at a fair price. The host was really nice and helpful every time I needed
Too much light in the room through the window; breakfast could have more options like eggs and other type of fruits

I enjoyed a private view on the sea from the 3d floor from my balcony. Literally, private sea and beach in this meaning, that the hotel is located on the beach 🏖️. It can't be better, views you see - 180 degrees of the sea, left hand Maronti beach, right hand Fumarole beach and Sant Angelo. And sound of the sea makes you feel calm. The room itself was ok. Behind the building you have to climb a little left and up to reach small hotel thermal pool. Use it, the waters there make you healthy. Then you must know, that there's Cavascura terme just about 3 min to walk. Cavascura is one of the oldest thermal natural places in Italy. This water makes magic with skin and health. Very hot thermal water is coming from underground to caves, and one of cave is using as a natural hot sauna. Ticket to Cavascura costs 20 EUR minimum price. From the hotel you can go hike to Sant Angelo through Apollon thermal park, or you can take a boat for 3 EUR if don't want to walk, or you can easily get to Maronti beach.
Mosquitoes, once I forgot to close the balcony before dinner, and I couldn't sleep, I was busy with killing mosquitoes. Don't know, it should be a solution for it, to put some removable cover on the balcony frame.
