Dangerous staircase. Infestation of ants Blinds not working. Under equipped kitchen. Smell of drains. Bin outside smelly and crawling with maggots. Noisy next door neighbour loud bass music until 12 30 one night. Electric cable dangling from fence in garden

We had extra help from Aldeburgh Seaside Cottages, when heath fire in the village started. We were moved to another cottage overnight for our safety. All done proactively and very efficiently.

location
stairs could do with some type of grip on them my partner slid on the bottom 4 steps and hurt her elbows

A quaint Suffolk cottage and garden in a quiet location, providing an ideal base to explore the nearby coast. Just hope that Sizewell C does not proceed, as will blight the whole area north of Leiston.
The boiler made some rather concerning noises when in central heating mode and the display suggested it needed servicing. The drains were rather smelly at times. The local pub was disappointing, so gave it a miss.

Really clean. Generous with wood, wash tablets etc
Bad smell from toilet on second day. No oven gloves or wooden spoon.

Lovely log burner
Everything was fine

Ideal for the walking we wanted to do
The photos are all wrong.
The cottage is pink
The decor needs some TLC
A lot of maintenance required, I needed to get help to get fence repaired and garden rubbish cleared

Nice little cottage, just perfect for our stay which was visiting relatives.
It would have been good to have had a few more basic items such as a tin opener, wooden spoons for cooking. Not expensive items but would have made life a little easier. Otherwise, a good cottage and location, thank you.

Good location, lovely garden, secure for pets. Kitchen well equipped. Space for car to be parked on driveway. WiFi included, sofa comfortable.
Bathroom stank of raw sewage upon arrival, and continued to smell that way for the duration of the stay. Consequently, experience of showering not ideal. Stairs to the bedroom were very steep, which may cause difficulty for some.

Property Maintenance was a bit lacking, Hot Water boiler had noisy concerning events.

Very comfortable little cottage in a very convenient location for exploring the Suffolk coastline.

Such a quaint and quirky little cottage, the log burner made for a very cosy evening. Handy having the washing machine too. Loved the garden.
We would stay again and recommended it to our friend for an enjoyable break. 😀
WiFi good.
We ordered some wood for the log burner and it was delivered very quickly.
Loved the key safe idea.
Stairs very steep (which was ok really), but need a door or partition to stop the dog trying to climb them. We placed the long lounge table there which served the purpose. Also there needs to be a partician at side of cottage , as been lots of dog thefts that we didn’t want our dog to move from our sight.
Water did not drain away when showering.

The quietness and the character..very sweet and well equipped
The staircase, very steep

Amazing little bolt hole
Noting a small lane

Location was good and enclosed garden was great for our dogs.
work tops in the kitchen were unhygienic, bath room had a smell of drains had to bleach the sink plugs, toilet etc. did not like the fact that bathroom/toilet led of the kitchen. The whole cottage needed a spring clean, maybe because it was the end of the summer season. the stairs are steep and the tread is not a full width on one side. I would say the cottage is not suitable for senior citizens or young children because the bathroom is down stairs and the stairs would be a concern at night regarding health and safety.

Great shower and well appointed kitchen. There was an issue with the cooker on the night we arrived but it was all sorted by the time we got back from the beach on Saturday lunchtime. The wood burner in the sitting room was a real treat.
Thimble cottage is no longer bluey-green - It is pink. This meant we had to do several laps before we found it. Also (and the description does mention this) I can confirm those stairs must be approached with caution in the dark after a glass or 2 of wine!

Great location, comfy beds and furniture.
Bumped our heads once or twice on the door frame to one of the rooms.
